Fuck R/systemcringe - Tumblr Posts

Hot take: If you are posting to r/systemcringe you're part of the problem

"but what if—"

No. Even if they're endogenic, claiming DID without evidence, being "weird", posting too specific flags, a LOT of people posted on r/systemcringe are minors and bullying minors still figuring themselves out is not okay.

And yes, this goes for "TikTok DID" too, even if they *are* faking, they're still people under all of the facades they've made and still deserve empathy (and educating). Anyone who fakes a disorder for clout has issues, and should be seen by a therapist, or kindly informed they're being inappropriate, not mocked to high hell.

"but they're damaging the system community!"

If it bothers you that much, speak to them, KINDLY reach out. don't be an asshole and go behind their backs and post them to a subreddit that gets off from mocking people.

"they're clearly faking!"

Have you done a psychological assessment on them? Mmm, no? Thought as much.

"yea but it's obvious-"

Okay fine, it's obvious in some cases, but do you want to be part of a problem too?

"but-"

....what did I say, it's never okay.

So many systems fear being authentic for fear of being posted upon this subreddit and that's not okay, people will always be assholes but you don't need to perpetuate it.

The only way to stop subs like r/systemcringe is to stop interacting with them.

i refuse to name the account publicly because im not stooping to their level but. Oh that's a slightly popular system account saying its perfectly fine to post endos to syscringe subreddits because they're not being "harassed..." i wanna fight back but. Not worth it :/ (i say this as someone who genuinely doesnt give a shit about syscourse but DOES give a shit about stopping syscringe subreddits)

:( That’s not okay.

No one deserves to be posted to syscringe pages. Endos included. Even when someone is being ridiculous. Posting without their knowledge is NOT okay. It's a much better idea to speak to the person one on one rather than potentially harming them.

I'm fully against sharing content off personal blogs and social media, e.g. screenshots, especially when usernames, and things that could identify the user are included.

There are some exceptions; like when people have tried to do their best to stop the person's behaviour, and it has continued to a point where it needs to be addressed further; for example when the Felix Cypher drama happened and his family was involved.

There's a fine line between analysis and straight up mocking — which is what syscringe and disorder cringe pages do.

Besides, a lot of content posted to those pages simply don't care that some of the people they're laughing at genuinely do have those disorders, and their symptom set is slightly unusual. It's extremely damaging to those who are posted.

That goes for all syscourse stances. I don't care if you're anti-endo, pro-endo or anything in between. There is a person behind almost every single account on the internet, and posting to syscringe is a form of cyberbullying and harassment.

Some people will always be shitty and cruel, however it's up to you [reader], to not contribute.

About the account saying it's okay to post endos to syscringe. Even when I was anti endo (not anymore), that is one of the things I hated the most. I have been posted there and even in my most anti endo moments, I stood by the fact I would rather side with endos than fakeclaimers.

NOBODY deserves that. Those people are awful and terrible. Doesn't matter if someone believes endos aren't "real systems," they. do. not. deserve. that.

People like that are a big reason I left being an anti endo (among personal reasons and personal growth.) Fakeclaiming and posting endos because you think they "deserve it" is bs.

It just gets my blood boiling. Big reason I'm pro endo now. Don't care what you think, don't care what you believe, there are people behind those accounts. Even in my worst anti endo phase, I would never wish that on anyone. It is not cool to post them there. Cause it doesn't matter if they're an endo system or not, those two subreddits are so awful.

These are real people dealing with stuff and trying to live their lives and have their blogs. NOBODY deserves to be posted there to be mocked. And even if for some reason endos did "deserve it" (which they do NOT), it quickly slips into transphobia and many far worse issues than just fakeclaiming. Those people are absolutely awful. Not a single person deserves to be posted there no matter if they're a terrible person or if someone thinks endos "deserve it." Nobody deserves that. Endos do not deserve that. These are real people facing mockery and harassment and bullying just because you (general you at folks that do this bs) think they deserve it. That has just been so infuriating to me for months. Even in my anti endo phase, I would ALWAYS rather side with endos. Because they're not the ones fakeclaiming, being violently transphobic, and whatever other shit those damn subreddits do. They literally posted one of our vents once. Because they thought we were faking. Nobody deserves to be posted there and I will always fucking stand by that.

Blocked that account so fast when I saw that because no. Pretty sure that account had other issues we were upset over too, but can't remember.

And to everyone that has ever been posted and who may end up being posted, your experiences are real. If it helps you then that is what matters. You are believed and you will be supported. You can't unknowingly fake something. Your lived experiences cannot be dictated by a stranger. And I am so sorry if anyone has posted you there. I hope you have good things come your way. You matter and you are wonderful and you exist and affect so many people's lives in good ways even if you don't see it. <3

Just had to get that off my chest. I love you endos and fuck anyone that thinks you deserve to be posted there. Cause you do not.

KHFJDFHJ YES YES YES YYSSSSSSSSSSSSS <3 quite a few anti-endo accounts say that they're fine with endos being posted, forgetting that they're real people. I don't really care what you believe about the legitimacy of non-trauma sourced systems, posting anyone to that sub is unkind.

Being posted to that Subreddit is so unpleasant, no matter whether you are faking or not. Syscringe don't care whether someone has a professional diagnosis, or whether they're doing it for clout or whatever reason; it harms everyone, CDD systems, DID systems, undiagnosed systems, medically recognised systems, endo systems and anyone else — just please... don't post to that Subreddit.

The only way to stop those kinds of pages is to stop interacting with them; don't like, comment, upvote (I think that's what it's called on Reddit), or interact.

Point 1

Systems aren't going to be comfortable until r/systemcringe is gone. One of my most common responses to "do you feel safe in system spaces" was no, followed by some commentary on sites like r/syscringe - sys cringe particularly doesn't care if you're diagnosed, undiagnosed, faking, pretending, suffering from another condition or medically recognised; they're preying on people's vulnerabilites which is never okay to do.

Point 2

The ISSTD shifted from using RAMCOA (ritual abuse, mind control, organised abuse) to OEA (organised and extreme abuse) as a descriptor, and RAMCOA is now considered an outdated term.

From the little reading surrounding RAMCOA as a term that I have done, there appear to be issues with the term (and the ISSTD), as they link to shady psychological practice, and addition to the satanic panic hysteria of the 1980s. Many of the practitioners involved in the RAMCOA special interest group of the 80s had their practicing licenses removed due to misconduct. However, I do not know enough (mostly due to lack of resources) to feel comfortable speaking on this topic.

Whether or not you support the RAMCOA label - high control groups and extremely abusive situations still create very legitimate trauma.

Might be worth a look into Stephen Hassan's BITE model as a simplified way to break down high control scenarios, and to gain an idea of whether you've experienced them 💕

.. f*ck r/systemcringe

"r/systemcringe poisons the internet for ramcoa searches!!"

No. Your "searches" just never existed to begin with. Out of the two ISSTD links from a straight Google search of RAMCOA, the rest is carrds, pluralpedia, reddit, Instagram, tumblr, tiktok, and fucking spotify. So where are the documentations, the scientific books (not by people who have had their licenses removed) and video proof of people being interviewed by specialists. Where is it. Because none of that exists. Literally at all.
