End Of Year - Tumblr Posts
Reading isn't about word counts or completion or anything like that. It's about how it makes you feel and about the things you learn. Prioritizing finishing book over enjoyment is a real joy-killer and it's important to know when to simply close a book and find a new one.
With that said, I read 60 books (new to me, cover-to-cover) this year. I think that's a new record for me.
The year's ending so fast. 👀 I used my sister's account a lot this year so these maybe slightly inaccurate but still it's so fun. 💕

Art Summary for 2018
This year was kind of a nightmare but I made some pretty good art this year! I’m honestly surprised I still like pretty much all of these, I’m really happy with the art I made this year! Here’s to hoping 2019 holds even more development! 🥂

‘Tis the season for artist summaries! I didn’t draw as much as I have this year as I have in the past (I had to hunt for a couple of these), but I’m really happy with pretty much all of these still! I did a lot of drawing for myself instead of for the approval of others this year, which might be why I like it more than previous years. That or I’ve just gotten better at art, who knows? I look forward for what developments we’ll see in the new decade!

What a year it’s been.
A toast to autumn
With October having finally arrived, I think it’s high time I started making post. Inktober is a perfect excuse to get back into casual writing.
There’s something about this time of year that gives me a certain je ne sais quoi that revitalizes me. Maybe it’s the relief from the summer heat and humidity. Or all the lead up to Halloween. Horror films, harvest crops, brisk air and all the other cliché things about the season. Whatever it is, I’m glad it’s here.
