Alicent stans using Dyana as a way to make their beloved fav seem so kind and perfect is disgusting. Dyana is a girl who was not only raped but it was by her employer and prince. She literally could have been executed for accusing her rapist.
Of course she was terrified of Alicent, the queen who was infamous for constantly supporting her son's right to rule. Dyana is a threat to Aegon's reputation as well as Alicent's as a "godly woman".
When Alicent comforted Dyana, if you can call it that, it was just cruel. Making the poor girl believe she had found someone who could and would protect her and help her, only to turn around and bribe her into silence. Without the protection of someone powerful, like Alicent, Dyana is very much in danger, a little money isn't going to change that.
Dyana now has no job, a bag of gold, trauma, no protection and has been thrust into KL during a time when it's much worse than it used to be. What Alicent did isn't kindness, it's getting rid of a loose end by sending her out into a place where she'll most likely be killed or forced into prostitution. Sure, sending her away from the Red Keep could be seen as kind, but it's just getting rid of someone who could be a threat to her son's reign.
Aegon is a despicable human being, and by supporting him and covering up his crimes, Alicent is complicit in his actions. Dyana isn't someone who "Saint Alicent" helped out of the goodness of her heart, she's someone she worked to get rid of as quickly as possible, and considering how practiced she seemed to be, it Dyana wasn't the first one.
I see that situation between Alicent and dyana completely different, I see her having a little empathy for the girl for the situation i think...but I see the situation as something that Alicent is already used to, she is already used to people coming to her saying that Aegon abused yet another maid , Alicent already knows what to do in this situation (give tea, hand over money, etc.) I dare say that she is already tired of dealing with these situations but girl... if you know that your son is an abusive drunk, do you really think he will change? Alicent knowing that Aegon is horrible still thinks he has more right to the throne like... I can't lol
I do think it's totally possible that she felt empathetic towards Dyana and the others, but I find it to be rather inconsequential in the big picture of what she's doing. The fact remains that there is massive political benefits to sending Dyana and the other maids away, benefits Alicent took advantage of.
She also chose to ignore the fact that these girls are suffering and chooses to remove them from the Red Keep, leaving them jobless. Yes, this very much seems to be a routine thing for her. The very fact that her original response seemed to be to pay them off and fire them and then she made it the routine is the issue. She doesn't actually consider what would help these girls, and if she does, she ignores it for the option that's more advantageous for her and Aegon.
She's constantly covering for Aegon in an effort to make him king, despite knowing how unfit he is. That's my main issue with Alicent and her actions, no matter how she may have felt originally, she never changes her perspective to one that actually aligns with what she claims. She claims to care for the realm and the people, yet supports a rapist who doesn't give a shit about ruling. Her true motivation isn't to help Dyana and the maids, which is what she paints herself as doing, even to Dyana, that makes any empathy she may have had for them inconsequential, as she simply shoved them under the rug rather than actually care for them.
The theories TG stans have about Dyana in season two are ridiculous. There's one where they theorize that Dyana will help smuggle B&C into the Red Keep to kill Jaehaerys.
They want Dyana to be demonized to detract from how fucking horrible Aegon is. Whether it's by denying the rape even happened (Aegon himself admits it happened) or by wanting her to participate in the worst thing TB did.
The lengths they'll go to in order to support their disgusting favs is concerning. I'm honestly worried about their grips on reality.

Tell all of Westeros that because the prince assaulted a servant ( I would like to remind you, a generous chunk of nobles has certainly done it as well to some degree.) he has to face justice and be executed.
Whaaat? Westeros is not in the 21st century, it doesn't work like that, by their standards it probably wasn't even considered rape! They would just think the prince had honored her with his attention and she had showed ungratefulness.
She would be punished instead for attempting to taint his image and have her tounge cut out or something. We're in the middle ages!!

Ali is veery disappointed with her son for many reasons, obviously including this one, and she's not shy to say it to his face, slap him and tell him he's no son of hers. But he is still her son, and she will always love him no matter what. There is no way in hell she would ever kill one of her kids.

Oh and also kinslaying. The circumstances of it are irrelevant, kinslaying is always considered one of the worst crime one can commit in Westeros. Hell even people who unwillingly kill their kin are cursed and ostracized, imagine what the realm would think of a mother, the fucking queen, killing her son.
