What’s in My Mouth?//Christian Yu

A lot of these have been sitting in my notes for awhile now because i didn’t think they’d be good enough to share but ahh why not.Hope whoever reads this enjoys it! feel free to hit me up,ask me questions.

“Babe,” Christian called out from the bedroom.We both had the day free and decided to be lazy within each other’s company.

“Yeah,B?” I replied after filling up Lori’s bowls.

“Can we do the what’s in my mouth challenge?” He yelled out like I couldn’t hear him.Making my way towards the bedroom I dropped onto the bed beside him.

“Have you been watching those challenges on YouTube with Dabin again?” I asked looking at him,he gave a cute lopsided grin.

“Maybeeeee,” he singsonged.“but can we, on Instagram live?” He pleaded.

I don’t know why he was asking when he knew I’d say yes.After explaining everything to me we set out to find the five things that we were going to use.We both returned to the bedroom with our five items hidden from each other.Christian set his phone up on the tripod,placing it on the desk and turning on his Instagram live,waiting a couple of minutes before the views came in.

“Hey guys,” he commented as he adjusted his phone to capture both myself and Lori who had made her way into the room and onto the bed.

“I’m doing fine,wassup with you guys?” I heard him ask as I rubbed Lori’s tummy.It wasn’t the first time I’d been in his live,we’d been friends for years so they were used to me basically.

“To be honest I didn’t plan on getting on here but I really wanted to do a live challenge and as my best friend who loves me dearly,Y/N has decided to help me out.” He turned and looked at me with a cheesy grin on his face. I stuck my tongue out at him before smiling and waving at the camera then returning my attention to Lori.

“We’re going to be doing the what’s in my mouth challenge as soon as y/n over there decides to share her attention.btw loser has to wear the other person’s clothes in public for an entire day.” I could feel him rolling his eyes.Pushing him lightly I left a now sleeping Lori and sat beside him on the edge of the bed.

Explaining how it works we played rock,paper,scissors to see who was going first.Chris lost all three rounds which meant he got blindfolded first.Using a pillow case as a blindfold I tied it behind his head and waved my hand in front his face a couple of times.

“What are you doing?” He asked.

“Just making sure you can’t see.” I replied back holding up my first item so they could see. The comments that were coming in had me dying but I held it in.“Open up and stick your tongue out.”  

He did as told and I placed the dirty sock on the tip of his tongue.He pulled it back and his face scrunched up before he stuck his tongue back out.Once again placing it on his tongue.

“Did you just put my dirty gym sock in my mouth?”

“Yes,” I laughed as he wiped his mouth on the back of his hand.We continued like this until I got to my last item.

“I swear to God if you put some weird ass shit in my mouth again we’re going to fight.” Looking at the bottle in my hand I contemplate on whether to go through with it or not.Saying ‘fuck it’ I placed a small amount on the spoon and placed it in his mouth. I grabbed the bottle of water near me as he removed the spoon and started tasting.It didn’t take long for the sting of the pepper sauce to kick in and his face to turn bright red.He pulled the blindfold off and looked at me with a really look before grabbing the bottle of water.

“Out of everything you chose hot sauce?” I smiled innocently at him and shrugged my shoulders.

“Stop being extra,you’ll be fine.” I patted his cheeks.He turned to the camera.

“You guys see how she treats me.” He pouted looking so fucking cute.

I read a couple comments before replying to Chris.

“It’s all love now stop being a baby and come on lemme beat your ass so you gotta walk around in a romper and heels.”  

Christian laughed sarcastically.“ She thinks she going to win guys.She’s so funny.” He placed the blindfold on and proceeded. The first one was super easy mainly because I ate kimchi regularly. The second one fucked me up cause he thought it’d be fun to give me dog food.That shit does not taste good. The others were challenging but I was still tied with Christian unless I got this last one.

I looked at her as I pulled out my last item. I honestly didn’t care if I won or not because I’d already won at life when she agreed to be my girlfriend. I got my best friend and my girlfriend all wrapped up in one. I’m a cheesy fucker, I know.

We both talked about going public but couldn’t decide on how but after what I was about to do I don’t think we’d have to think about that anymore.Placing the sour gummy worm in my mouth I got closer to her as I placed it on her tongue for a bit before pulling it away when I thought she’d had enough. I could see the comment section blowing up at my actions.

“Is that sugar?” She questions.

“Not quite,want another taste?” She nodded and put her tongue back out.God she looks so fucking beautiful like that.Placing a fresh worm in my mouth I repeated the action keeping it on her tongue for a while longer.Just as I was about to pull back her mouth clamped down on the worm and she sucked on it trying to figure out what it was she kept going until the sour worm rested on the tip of my tongue.

“What the hell is that?” She asked pulling back. I ate the worm trying not to laugh.

Bro stop teasing the poor girl. I read Dabin’s comment and laughed.

“Okay one more time.” She asked.Putting some of the sugar from the packet on the tip of my tongue I leaned in closer to her and touched her tongue with my own.She repeated the same action.

“That’s definitely a tongue.What the fuck Ian? Did I just kiss Lori?” I broke out in laughter not being able to contain it.

“No you didn’t kiss Lori and it was partially a tongue.” She took the blindfold off and crossed her arms over her chest.

“What or whose tongue did you put in my mouth Christian?” She sounded a bit angry but I couldn’t help laughing.She’s just too cute.She pushed me back and stood up.

“y/n..baybehh,where are you going?” I asked Standing and holding onto her wrist pulling her against me.

“To sanitize my mouth,lord knows what weird shit you made me kiss.”

“So now my tongue is weird?” I smirked playfully at her. The expression on her face was enough to set me off again in a laughing fit.

“You jerk!” She hit my bare chest.

“You love me though,” I whispered leaning down closer to her face.“ It was actually gummy worms and then my tongue.” I winked at her my lips hovering mere centimeters away from hers.Her eyes darted to my lips and I took the initiative,pulling her closer by the waist I cupped her face in one hand as my lips descended upon hers.

Her lips pushed against mine as her arms draped around my neck,her hand pulling on my nape.My hands travel down the curve of her waist to her hips and over her round behind gripping one cheek firmly.

Reluctantly pulling away I peck her lips a few times before resting my forehead against hers.“ I love you.”

“I love you too and I know what you did.You ain’t slick Ian.” She leaned over slightly looking at the camera.

“Well I guess that’s out the bag huh?” She laughed lightly.Sitting back on the bed I pulled her down onto my lap as I read some of the questions.

“We’ve been official for almost a year and a half,” I replied to one of the comments as she managed to get the bag of sour worms and was happily munching on them.We kept answering questions until I noticed that my hour was almost up.

“This is the last question before we hop off here,so babe what’s it like dating me?” I turn to her.

“Dios mio,lemme tell y'all he’s a pain in the ass,cheesy,corny…but he’s my cheesy,corny pain and I love him mainly Lori but yeah.” She replied trying not to laugh.

“She’s lying I’m an angel but thank you guys for watching,enjoy the rest of the day.” Before I could turn it off she leaned in singing “DPR WE GANG GANG!”  

I laughed and turned it off then wrapped my arms around her waist.“I love you.”  

“I love you too,” she pecked my lips.“ Now what do you want for dinner.” She asked standing up and heading towards the bedroom door and locking it before turning to me with a smirk on her face.

Break Up Prank // DPR LIVE

Synopsis: You’re a well known youtuber who’s dating Dabin but you guys aren’t public.You guys end up going public after you get revenge on him for pranking you with laxatives in your bubble tea.

“So guys I’ve been up for awhile and I’ve decided that I’m going to get back at my boyfriend for pranking me a couple weeks ago.Now I know you guys don’t know who he is because we’ve been a bit lowkey but I guess y’all about to find out.” I spoke softly to the camera as I sat at the kitchen counter eating my açaí.

“I honestly have no idea how this is going to turn out so wish me luck guys.” Finishing up I head into our shared bedroom where my sleeping boyfriend laid snuggled under the blankets.He didn’t get home until around three and even though I should feel bad for what I’m about to do I’m really not because he almost killed me with that laxative in my bubble tea.

Setting the camera on the dresser out of view I angled it to get a clear view before heading to the closet to get my suitcase and duffel bag.Usually he’s a light sleeper but he must have overworked himself again as he didn’t budge with I threw my bags on the bed.

Walking into the closet I started moving my stuff to carry into the bedroom.Three trips in he finally started waking up,I guess opening the blinds was helpful after all.Rubbing the sleep from his eyes he sat up and looked at me.

“What are you doing?”  

“Packing,” I reply folding my shirts and fixing them in my suitcase.

“I can see that but where are you going? I thought we were supposed to spend the day together?” He questioned pulling the covers back and getting out the bed.

“I’m leaving.” My response was clipped as I made another round into the closet.

“What do you mean you’re leaving? Is this a joke?” I was beginning to feel a little bit bad after the look of worry flashed across his face. I know he feels some kind of way because he thinks he isn’t a good boyfriend because he can’t be with me at times.I know what I got myself into when we started dating and I won’t ever want to change that well except for now cause you know what they say,Revenge is a dish best served cold.

“I’m being serious, I leaving.”

“Where are we going?” He asked.

“Not we Dabin, I. I’m leaving.” I zipped up my suitcase and got started on toiletries.

“Is this because I canceled the other day?” His arms crossed over his chest. I didn’t reply. I just kept moving in and out of the bathroom with my stuff.

“Would you just stop and talk to me?”

“There’s nothing to talk about okay! I-I just need space alright.”  

Dabin scoffed and headed into the closet. I wanted to laugh so hard but kept my composure as he returned with his bag and some clothes in hand.

“What are you doing?”

“What does it look like I’m doing? I’m going with you,” He replied like it was the most normal response. “Because clearly you’ve been smoking or drinking some shit if you think I’m just going to let you walk out on me talking about you ‘need space’.Need space my yellow ass,you want space? I suggest you take that ass to the living room cause we work to hard for this..” he pointed between us. “..for you to just want to leave me for no valid reason.”  

I headed back into the bathroom for some things and my bag was gone when I entered. “Dabin where’s my bag?”

“Don’t worry about it.Now where are we going?” He replies nonchalantly as he continues to pack clothes into his bag.

“I told you I’m leaving not you! I need space, I miss me time.”

“You get enough you time when I’m working what are you talking about? Is this a fucking joke? You’re laughing like this is funny.Ain’t shit funny because you ain’t leaving me without a valid ass reason.Point,Blank,Period.Wherever you go,I go.” He started walking towards me a look of determination and mischief on his face. Instinctively I started walking backwards until my knees hit the edge of the bed and my ass fell backwards.This is completely not the way I saw this going.

Dabin smirked and leaned down over me,his hands on either side of my head.He kissed my cheek, lifting on hand to caress it before gripping my chin lightly. “You wanna leave me baby?” He asked but I knew he didn’t want an answer. “ Let me show you exactly what you’re going to leaving and missing.”  

He kissed me roughly before biting my bottom lip pulling and sucking on it.My eyes widened at the direction this was clearly going in.Hands pushing at his chest.

“Dabin,baby stop.”

“Why? So you can leave me?” The look in his eyes was enough to let me know that I’d gotten to him.

“No.You should stop because this is a prank and there’s a camera on the dresser.” I laughed at him as his head darted upward. “ plus I don’t think you want people to know how nasty we get do you?” I whispered into his ear.

“So you’re not leaving me?”  

“No I’m not leaving you.” I confirmed laughing lightly at the look of relief on his face.He kissed all over my face before raising up and going to get the camera and sitting on the bed. I took it from him and angled it towards myself as he pulled me down onto his lap.Nuzzling his face into my neck his secures his arms around my waist tightly.

“Do you know why I did this?” I asked him turning to look at him.

“The bubble tea?” I nodded at him. “But I apologized though.”

“And I apologize too but you knew you had it coming.” I pecked his lips lightly.

“We’re even now. I fucked up your stomach and you fucked up my head. I’m fine as long as you aren’t leaving me.You do know that once this goes up,we’re public right?”  

“I know but I don’t mind. I’m with you and I’m happy.Whoever doesn’t like that,that’s their problem.”

“I love you.”

“I love you too.” I kissed him softly and then pulled away doing my outro and cut the camera off placing it back on the dresser. Arms wrapped around my waist and I was being pulled back towards the bed.

“Baby what are you doing?”  

“Showing my girlfriend what she’s been missing these past few days.” He smirked closing the blinds and crawling between my legs.

Let’s just say we spent the day together in more ways than one.

“Soooo…who’s sofrito and why are we meeting them for lunch?” Zico creeped from the passenger seat as I texted my best friend. I had just picked him up from the airport and was heading to the dance studio.

“I see your English has gotten better.” I replied immediately trying to change the subject and hopefully he fell for it.Zico didn’t need to know who sofrito was just yet.He’d find out soon enough.

“yeah,the app you told me to use it’s great but don’t think i don’t know what you’re doing..” he switched over to Korean.I laughed pretending that I didn’t know what he was talking about.

After another half hour in the car with Zico we finally pulled up to Side One Studios.Walking through the front door I winked at the girl behind the desk as I made my way to the studio.Zico laughed at my antics and waved at her as he followed behind me.As we drew closer to the studio I could feel the vibrations of the music bumping off the walls.Pushing the door open quietly,Zico and I took a seat against the wall in the back.We reached just before they started and as the beat to Jay Park’s All I Wanna Do Ft Hoody & Loco came on both Zico and I went on Instagram live.The views came in immediately as the fans started asking if we were with Jay.

“Where’s this sofrito?” Zico asked as we watched the group flawlessly perform the routine that Jay and the 1 million crew did.

I looked through the group before realizing that she was the one portraying Jay.“the one doing Jay’s part.” Once the fans noticed it wasn’t Jay Park dancing they started asking who it was.Telling them I’d share that later I got off live before getting noticed.

“Omg it’s Zico and Dean!!” An Asian girl screamed from the group.Suddenly everyone turned and huddled around us. I could see sofrito in the back laughing as Zico and I signed autographs.After a couple minutes she pushed through the crowd.

“Alright,alright people back up,I got a taser an I ain’t afraid to use it.” She said pressing the button making it spark off.They made way like the Red Sea as she pushed through.

“Class is over for today,thank you guys for having me this week and the video will be up on YouTube by Monday.Enjoy the weekend.” One by one they filtered out the room until it was just the three of us left.She told us to wait a few while she freshened up and she’d meet us outside.Zico and I sat on the hood of my car as we waited.

“He seems cool.” Zico said and I almost choked on the laugh that came out my mouth. I was about to correct him when she came walking over to us.Her hair in a messy bun with little curls falling around her face,shorts and a grey t-shirt with thigh high socks and her grey sneakers on.

We did our lil handshake before she nodded towards Zico’s direction.Zico’s eyes looked just about ready to fall out their sockets.

“Sofrito…Zico,Zico…Sofrito.” I introduced them.She bowed at him and then reached out to shake his hand.They shook hands before Zico turned to me.“definitely not a guy.” I laughed as she looked at the both of us.

“I only looked like a guy because I had to play the part in the video since my main dude ditched. I’m all female as you can see and my name is Cataleya not sofrito that pendejo..” she pointed at me.“..is the only person that gets away with calling me that.With that being said it’s nice to meet you Zico but I’m hungry and Kwon promised me food so who’s driving?” She finished crossing her arms over her chest.A movement that didn’t go unnoticed to Zico.

“Stop staring.” I said quickly so she wouldn’t pick up on it as I tapped him behind his head.He smirked at me and shrugged his shoulders as he made his way to the car.

Leya laughed at our behavior as she too made her way to the car.We headed to our usual restaurant and ordered.As we waited Zico and I talked about the new track we were working on with Crush.He still didn’t know that it was Leya who made the beat as she gave it to me as a birthday present and told me to do what I wanted with it and now here we are months later with a full song that just needs to be mastered.

As the food came we talked in between about how Leya and I met and a bunch of other questions that Zico asked that she willingly answered after convincing him that we were just friends and nothing more.Leya is family,not blood but family nonetheless.She’s kinda like a sister and mother rolled into one and to be honest I feel sorry for the guy that tries to tame her and that spicy attitude of hers.God knows that the last guy couldn’t handle it and took the easy way out by accusing her of cheating.Dumbass if you ask me but I really can’t judge when I second guessed our friendship the first time we met in person but I stuck around and here we are 7 years later like 2 peas in pod.

Leya may have some screws slightly loose in that head of hers but she means well just don’t get on her bad side and you’ll be good.That was the warning I’d given Zico when he asked if she was right in the head.Knowing him he’d flirt with her just for the fun of it and call her sofrito just to annoy her but what can I say he’s friends with me.

Leya disappeared as soon as we got home and after showing Zico where he’d be staying for the next week we headed out to the studio to finish up the song.

“Did you call her? Is she coming?” Jay nagged for the thousandth time this morning.We were back in LA so he could finish up the last track on his album but Jay being Jay decided he wants to shoot a music video here as well.Every choreographer that came through he turned down but if you ask me I think he just wanted an excuse to see Leya again.In the two months we’ve known her she seems to have him wrapped around her fingers and she didn’t even know it.He thinks I don’t know where his inspiration for Drive came from but I was the main witness to that.

Even though she complained that Jay is a pain they still exchanged numbers so I really don’t get why I’m doing his dirty work.As Jay continued whining someone knocked on the door.Loco got up to get it.

“uhhh,Gray there’s a real nice bottle of cherry cola asking for you.” Loco shouted making me jump out of my seat and rush towards the front.

“You’re lucky you’re adorable so I’ll let the cherry cola comment slide.” She told Loco smiling before she noticed me.“Sunghwa.” she smiled again.

“Gray woman,G-R-A-Y.” I replied hugging her sideways.“Are you gonna change my name from ‘Spicy Enchilada’ in your phone?” she countered.I shook my head smiling.

This is just a little something inspired by the song White Light by SoMo.It doesn’t exactly follow the song but in some aspects.I really don’t know where I was going with this as i switched in between first and third person alot.But enjoy nonetheless.

Angst/Fluff

Messy.That was the only way I could describe our break up.A ticking time bomb that exploded because of lack of communication.He was in Korea living his dreams and I moved back home to Brazil.

Sam and I met my first year in university when I’d moved from Brazil to California.We didn’t always get along,truthfully I think it’s because neither of us knew how to approach the other and every time he annoyed me I’d ignore him not giving him the time of day.It’s crazy how things changed in those first four months.Never did I think I’d love someone as much as I love him.

Not everything good last forever though.

I placed my phone against my ear for the twentieth time this morning.Sam was supposed to be here already.

“Hey babyyy..” I could hear the slight slur in his speech,hoping to god that this really wasn’t happening.

“Sam where are you?” I question.

“Out with the guys.Why is something wrong?” He asked.

“Out with the guys where Sam?”

“We’re at this new restaurant in Itaewon with Jay.Is everything okay?”  

“Sam Juno Park tell me you’re joking.This isn’t the time for jokes.” I couldn’t help the way my voice cracked at the end. The call ended and he was calling me on FaceTime.

“Baby talk to me.Wassup?” Taking in the voices around him I knew this wasn’t some joke and he wasn’t here.

“What’s the date today?”

“Well it’s almost the 25th here so it’s  almost 8am on the 24th in Cali,why?” He looked lost and I honestly have no idea how he could be lost when we spoke about this already.He promised he’d be here.He knows how much this means to me.He was the only family I had after my grandparents passed and now I was about to attend my graduation alone. Pathetic, I know.

“You forgot Sam,again.” I wasn’t going to cry.Well not for him to see at least.

“I didn’t forget anything though.Babe what’s this about?”

“You promised and you broke it once again.It’s the third time since you’ve left and I let it slide because I know how big the opportunity is for you but lately it’s like I’m in a relationship by myself.” I really rather we not do this over FaceTime but I couldn’t keep doing this anymore.

“What are you tryna tell me Larissa?” He sighed excusing himself from the table and heading outside.

“I can’t do this anymore Sam.We’re only hurting each other thinking that this is going to work.M-maybe we should see other people.”

“Is that what this is about? Are you seeing someone else?” He asked his voice raising a bit and I swear if he was here I would have slapped him for even thinking something so idiotic. I love him, I do but there’s only so much a woman can take until she breaks.

“Really? After everything we’ve been through you think I’d cheat on you? That’s not me Sam and you know it.You promised me you’d be here to see me walk across that stage and get my degree and I feel so stupid for thinking you’d uphold that promise with the amount you’ve been breaking lately.You’re the closest thing to family that I’ve got and lord knows I love you Sam but I think I need to be by myself for awhile.”  

At the mention of your degree Sam knew he’d fucked up but it wasn’t going to stop him from trying to fix this.You stuck by him through everything and he knows you let a lot of shit slide because of his career and maybe he took you for granted but he couldn’t lose you.

You were his white light. The reason he opened up his heart and showed his scars.From hopping flight to flight he knew there were nights he couldn’t make it home to you but you accepted that and held him down nonetheless.This couldn’t be how you ended.He wasn’t having it.

“Baby I’m on the next flight out,please just don’t go.” He pleaded.

“Don’t,”

“What do you mean don’t? I’m not letting you go. I know I haven’t been the worlds greatest boyfriend but I love you and that’s never going to change.” Running his hand through his hair I could see the hurt in his eyes.

“I won’t be here when you get back Juno.This hurts so fucking much but it’s for the best.If it’s meant to be we’ll find our way back to each other,don’t wait on me.One day you’ll find love and someone who makes you as happy as you make me. I love you Sam Park,don’t ever forget that.” I ended the call before he could reply.Fighting back the tears I got myself ready and headed to my graduation,a fake smile on my face throughout the entire thing.

Meanwhile in Korea,Sam did everything he could to not think about you.Endless hours in the studio,sleepless nights or partying whichever one numbed his feelings for you was the route he took.He had returned to California as soon as he could only to find your shared apartment only filled with his things.He got back on a flight just as quickly as he’d gotten on one.He didn’t want to be there if you weren’t there.

Being back in Brazil wasn’t as easy as you’d hoped especially with the bomb that was dropped on you.Although you weren’t complaining you couldn’t help but feel like you were missing something.

2 years later  

Seoul,South Korea

“AJ please stop crying.” I pleaded with the toddler.A cranky AJ is something I don’t like dealing with but as a parent it’s something that I have to deal with.

“Aww why’s my little niece crying? What’s wrong with auntie’s baby?” Tasha cooed as she took her from me.

“I don’t know,she’s been cranky since we got into the car.” I replied following Tasha into the restaurant. I met Tasha after her husband had booked me to do their family photo shoot last year and now I’m their company’s full time photographer.

Tonight was the welcoming dinner and I’d be lying if I said I’m not nervous.As I took my seat next to Tasha,AJ seated comfortably in her lap Jk started introducing the people around the table as dinner progressed with slight small talk.

“And last but not least the man who never leaves the studio lately,Mr Junoflo.” He introduced. The name set off so many alarm bells in my head but I shook it off every time it was mentioned.It couldn’t possibly be the same person.

“It’s just my stage name,the name’s Sam and it’s nice to meet you.”  

Sam outstretched his hand across the table waiting for the woman to raise up her head.She seemed out of it throughout the introduction but for some reason he felt like he’d seen her before.Eyes locked on hers as she looked up he felt as though time had stopped.This wasn’t happening.Not now,not when he was finally getting over you.

“Larissa.”  

“Sam.” The entire table stared at the both of them shocked.

“You two know each other?” Tasha asked.

“He’s the ex-boyfriend I told you about.” I told her dropping my gaze from him and looking at her.She looked from Sam to Aj and back to me before her jaw dropped.

“No way!” I looked her pleading with my eyes for her not to say anything but Aj had other plans.

“Mamãe! I wanna sleep.” She rubbed her eyes with a slight pout.That was my cue to run for the hills. I could feel his eyes on me as she crawled onto my lap from Tasha’s arms.

“It was really nice meeting you guys but it’s getting late and I should probably get her to bed.Thank you for having me.” I slid Tasha a couple of bills to help with dinner before putting Aj down and standing.

“I’ll give you a ride. I gotta get back to the studio anyways.” Sam offered as he dropped some cash on the table standing.

“Oh no,no It’s fine.I’ll just call an uber.” I told him trying to avoid having to talk to him.

“Cute,you thought I was asking.” He retorted bending to scoop Aj up into his arms shocking me.She’s never this open with strangers.He bid farewell to everyone else and made his way out the restaurant with me following behind him.

“Sam I’m serious you don’t have to take us home.”

“And I said I wasn’t asking now get in the car Larissa.” He opened the back door waiting for me to get in before passing Aj and getting in the drivers seat.

The silence in the car could be cut with a knife as neither one bothered to speak.Aj fell asleep on the ride home and Larissa couldn’t help but be grateful.As Sam pulled up to the condo complex she noticed him parking but didn’t question it.Getting out she made sure she had everything before thanking him and heading inside.Her eyes opened wide when she got to the elevator and saw him entering right behind her.

“Sam what are you doing?” She questioned frantically.

“First of calm down I’m not following you, I live here and lastly we need to talk.”

She signaled for him to follow her when the elevator opened up on her floor.Pulling out her keys she opened the door and entering.

“Are you going to come in or do you want to stand here all night?”

“How long have you been living here?”  

“About a year and a half.”

“You’ve been my neighbor for almost two years and I’m just finding out about this?” He spoke more to himself as he entered and closed the door behind him.

I put Aj to bed before joining Sam back in the living room sitting on the couch opposite him.

“Why didn’t you tell me? Didn’t you think I at least deserved to know I got you pregnant?”

“Who said she’s yours though?”

“She’s no more than two years and we’ve been broken up for the same amount of time and I know you’ve never been unfaithful so why didn’t you tell me?” He looked at me.

“Because I didn’t know until after I left. I was gaining weight and I didn’t know why until I went to the doctor. I didn’t know how to tell you and I felt as though this would only get in the way of your career.”  

“That wasn’t your decision to make Larissa. I know things weren’t the best between us then but I would do anything for you and you know that. I helped create that insanely beautiful little girl inside there,” he pointed to Aj’s room. “and I missed out on everything. I don’t even know her name.

“Alexandria Juno Park.”

“What?”

“Her name.Alexandria Juno Park.” I smiled lightly at him.

“You gave her my name.” I nodded.Sam got out his seat pulling me up into a hug.

“I’m sorry.For everything,missing your graduation,breaking my promises and not treating you like you deserve to be.” He mumbled into my hair.Being this close to him had everything rushing back to me.Not like I could forget him anyways.Not when we’d made a miniature version of him in female form.Everything from his smile to eating habits even that little beauty mole she had it.

“I forgave you long ago Sam. I had no reason to be mad at you. I knew what would happen when I agreed to try the long distance thing and it didn’t work but at least we tried.”

“You told me that if this was meant to be we’d find our way back to each other and this may not be the ideal time but I need you to know that I never stopped loving you.There’s never gonna be someone who loves and makes me as happy as you do and I completely understand if you don’t feel the same anymore but all I’m asking is for you to give me the chance to know my daughter and to be in her life.” He rubbed soothing circles on my lower back pulling away slightly to look at me.

I leaned up and pressed a quick kiss to his lips. “I never stopped loving you either and yes you could can be in her life.” One hand caressing my cheek the other on my waist Sam pulled me closer pressing a soft kiss to my lips testing the water before he pressed harder.

Sam knew that you needed to find yourself.He knew letting you go was stupid but it’s something that the both of you needed to get to here and now.

“Say you want this life.Say you want this life with me. I want you by my side and I want you in my life. I need you in my life always.The both of you.Just say you want this life with me.” He looked me in the eyes.

“I want this life with you if you’ll have me back.Even when you can’t make it home because you’re catching different flights.You’re my white light. The reason I’m not afraid to open my heart to you and show my scars.As long as you’ll have me I’m all yours Sam Juno Park.”  

That was all it took for Sam to capture my lips in another kiss this one much more heated than the last.Pulling back for air we both found ourselves cuddling on my couch at 2am before falling asleep in each other’s arms just like we used to.

Walk Away

I didn’t want to talk about it anymore than I already had.Every time was the same excuse over and over before you went back out and did the same shit you told me not to do.You chose to leave a good thing at home for a couple one night stands. Two months later

“No Gray you can’t tell Loco.”

“But why not?” He whined like a little child. I was so tempted to hang up this FaceTime call on him.He knew exactly why we couldn’t tell Loco. I love the guy.He has become like a brother but he couldn’t keep a secret at all.He would open his mouth a ruin my damn plan.

Rolling my eyes at Gray I ate another grape.“You know that man cannot keep a secret Sunghwa. He’ll go running his mouth.”

It was his turn to roll his eyes at me.He knew I was right so he immediately changed the topic.“When do you get here?”

“The week before Christmas. I have some final documents to sign and then I’ll be free.Are you picking me up?” I asked him.

“If I’m not busy that day I will but if not I’ll send someone.” He replied before telling me he had to go because his next session was about to start.We exchanged goodbyes and I settled back into my couch.

It was only 7pm here which meant it was 10am tomorrow in Seoul and his day had already began while mine was just ending.It also meant that Jay would be calling or texting soon.If someone had told me back in August that I’d be as close to Gray as I was now I would have laughed.Here I am five months later with amazing new friends and a boyfriend. I didn’t think I’d be able to get close to a man after Yashel but here I am like a giddy little school girl waiting for her crush to call.

I didn’t think we’d be able to make a long distance relationship work but two months in and we’re doing fine. I still have no idea how he managed to get six dozen roses into my house last month but he was making it really hard not to fall head over heels for him.

My phone dinged off and my attention immediately diverted to the screen. I laughed at his name. I didn’t mean to put it as that but it kinda stuck since I couldn’t think of anything else.

I smiled at his messages as I plugged my phone into the charger. I don’t know how this plan is going to go but I really hope this sacrifice is worth it for the both of us.

I could feel eyes on me as I looked at the text on my phone.

“If he smiles any wider he’ll rip his face.” I heard Gray mumble causing the guys to laugh at me. I honestly didn’t care though I was happy and them clowning on me wasn’t going to change that.Looking up from my phone with my smile still in tact I looked at my coworkers,my family.

So far Gray and Loco were the only ones who knew I had a girlfriend.It’s not that I didn’t want to tell the others I just wanted them to meet her first before I told them the reason I’d been smiling so much lately.

It didn’t feel like we were on different sides of the world. I don’t know if we’re in that ‘honeymoon’ phase that everyone talks about but right now I like what we have.

Cha Cha,Wegun and Simon all looked at me while Gray and Loco looked bored.Cha Cha and I were going over the plans for the new project we’re working on whereas I had many other meetings to attend today with the others.

“You know Bora’s ass is out here telling people you cheated on her right?” Simon said as he sat across from me.

“Let her man I’m way too busy and happy to go dealing with her bullshit. I cut her off since way back in August and it’s like she been stalking my ass ever since.She showed up at the Air bnb we rented in Cali when we went to shoot the video. I still have no clue how she knew where I was.”

Before Simon could reply I excused myself to the bathroom. I really needed to pee with the amount of water I’d been consuming to calm myself down.When I exited I saw Simon with my phone in his hand and a smile on his face.

“Who’s Lady Jae with a crown and heart eyes?” He enquired as I took my seat. I had changed her name from Quesadilla earlier.Lady Jae had quite the ring to it but how the fuck did he get into my phone.

“It rung while you were in the bathroom so I answered but the person hung up as soon as I did.” He replied sliding my phone back to me and holding his hands up in surrender.It was a bit after 9pm here so I knew her day was just starting and it had become our routine.If we texted throughout the day we at least got one phone call in either when my day was getting started and hers was ending or vice versa.We usually FaceTime so I know Simon saw a little more than he’s letting on.

“I’m going to out on a whim here and say she’s the reason you just stare into space and smile like the joker?” Simon teased. I swear Loco has no cover for his mouth.“And no Loco didn’t tell me a thing.For the first time he kept his trap shut.”

“How much did you see?”

“Enough to know that you took your own advice and finally got down with the swirl."He laughed.It was no secret that Simon loved women especially those with color.Simon had dated a couple Korean girls in the past but once he got a taste of a different flavor he savored it.There weren’t many colored women in Korea so when he got one he held on for awhile.Don’t take this as me saying Simon was a fuckboy,I don’t think at our age we could be considered that but he liked experiencing new things and right now it just happens to be women since his breakup he says he hasn’t found anyone who makes him feel anything more than lust.

His phone dinged in his pocket and he pulled it out.Tapping on the screen rapidly a shit eating grin formed on his face.One I knew all too well.Dismissing him with my hands as he looked at me I laughed at how quickly he bolted out his seat and through the door.

Sighing I rocked back in my seat and scrolled through my recents tapping on Leya’s name.It rung a couple times before her half dressed body appeared on the screen.

"As much as I love the view right now I’d love to see my girlfriend’s face.” She shuffled around before she set it down.She sat doing her hair from what I could see.She looked at me in between making small talk and I didn’t mind one bit.She slipped her shirt on and her glasses before she plopped down on her bed propping her face up with her hands and looking at me.

“I miss you..” she said with a pout.“..why is New Years so far away.”

“It’s only three weeks away ma.It’ll fly by in no time.Again I apologize about Simon.” I replied yawning slightly.

“Baby you’re tired and it’s fine.He didn’t see anything he’s not supposed too.”

“Did you cut off your hair?” I asked noticing the difference and trying to avoid the statement. I was tired but I wanted to talk to her.

She rolled her eyes at me.“ No I didn’t.It’s a wig and don’t go trying to change the subject Jaebum.”

“I’m a little tired but I want to talk to you so let me be a good boyfriend.”

I got up and grabbed my keys and my bag heading out my office and locking up.Security locks up after I leave so I took the elevator down to the lobby. The guard let me out locking up behind me as I made my way to my car.

“Babe I gotta go.Jas is here.Text me when you get home.Drive safely.” She blew me a kiss and winked. I did the same being all extra with mine just to see her smile before we hung up. I took a screenshot of her smiling just before we both said bye.

Thankfully there wasn’t much traffic so it didn’t take long for me to get home.Entering my house after parking I was greeted by my dogs.Making a mental note to walk them in the morning I put out some more food and water for them before heading up to my bedroom,texting Leya on the way. I didn’t even shower or change out of my clothes because as soon as my body hit the bed I knocked out.Three weeks and I’d have my girl here with me.

“Who’s Aquaman with a crown,heart eyes and the tongue out emoji?” Jas inquired while making the face.😝

I had no idea why she was always on my phone but her excuse was “yours takes better pictures”.We had the same damn brand of phone but Jas needed a new phone screen every other week so Ron told her no upgrades.

“Who you been fucking with and does your brother know about this?” She asked raising her eyebrows at me.

“Yes mother Ronald knows about this and I haven’t been fucking anyone.To answer your question he’s my boyfriend and I got bored with his name being saved as Kimchi.” I shrugged paying attention to my niece who was demanding my attention.

“Nobody ever tells me anything.What the fuck?” I laughed out loud because her daughter looked at her with her mouth open just as she cursed and as adorable as it was it was too damn funny.

“Wait is he the reason why you’re doing that thing?” I nodded.

“Are you sure this is what you want?”

“I’m sure.It hasn’t been long Jas but he makes me feel so alive. I know I sound like I’ve got it so bad but I really feel like he’s worth the sacrifice.” I finished.

“You’ve got that look.” She smiled as she reached for her daughter who was reaching out for her.What look was she talking about?

“What look?”

“The same look I get when I look at your brother.” She smiled.There is no way I was in love with Jay. I couldn’t be.Wasn’t it too soon for that? It’s only been two months. I couldn’t be in love.Could I?

Because it’s Friday and I’m vibing also because Chase needs more love so here’s some fluff or whatever.I was half way asleep when I thought of this so if it don’t make no sense that’s why.

“Munchkin,come on let’s go.” Chase shook you gently at the shoulders.He’d left you almost drunk about an hour ago to go over some last minute changes with Jay.Saving his work he shut down the system and scooped you up into his arms when you made no attempt to awake from your drunken slumber.

Chase had known you your entire life.Both him and Jay were close friends with your older brother and wherever your brother Miguel was they’d be sure to find you right behind him.After his death you’d distanced yourself from anything that reminded you of him.Dance,Chase and Jay. The three main things that had kept your brother alive and out of trouble but your mother had made deals with the wrong people and it cost both your brother and her their lives.

You had just graduated university and opened up your own studio/café in Seoul when you ran into Jay and Chase who were looking for a new place to eat.At first you pretended like you didn’t know them but Chase quickly cut the bullshit short when you tried to make an exit.

It took awhile before you got back into the habit of being around them again but once you did it was like nothing had changed except for the fact that you didn’t tell them exactly why you moved to Seoul.Jay could tell you were hiding something but didn’t push you,he knew you’d tell them when you were ready.

The CEO smirked and looked at you. “How long has it been since the both of you slept together?” You knew Jay knew about what had happened but no one confirmed it.

“Don’t you dare answer him,” Chase looked at you. “We promised not to talk about it.”

You were frustrated with the fact that Chase always denied that there was something between you both.Everyone knows how you feel about him and yet his excuse is always the same bullshit.If it wasn’t your age,it was your different schedules and quite frankly you’ve had enough.

“You promised we’d never speak of it again Chase. I didn’t promise shit! You knew exactly how I felt about you and yet still you led me on,got me thinking you cared but left as soon as you got what you wanted right? Do you how stupid I felt when I woke up that morning and you weren’t there? Then you started ignoring me and running around with a different girl every week until you just left. You know what’s funny,” you laugh sarcastically. “ Miguel used to always tell me that if I was to ever settle down and get married look for a guy that treats me the way the three of you did but most importantly find a man who looks at me “the way Chase does.Quite frankly I’m starting to believe I would’ve been better off falling in love with Jay’s playboy ass cause-”

“Jay get out.” Chase spoke cutting you off.You knew you struck a nerve but it’s exactly what you wanted.Jay laughed and shook his head.

“Just remember only the recording booth is sound proof and if you really want to try some yellow in ya life,you know where my office is.” He winked playfully as he left the studio.

“How drunk were you last night?”

You shrugged. “So you don’t remember recording that song?” He asked.

“What song are you talking about?” Chase pressed play and sat back in his seat,arms crossed over his chest as you listened.

The events of last night coming back to you,you groaned and ran your hand down your face. “That isn’t about you,” You sighed. “Not all of it anyways.”

He gestured to you to keep talking and so you told him.You told him exactly why you came to Korea and that you didn’t any plans for staying until after you confirmed that your then boyfriend was indeed cheating with your old friend.

“So what I’m getting is that you basically put him on but he was sleeping with your friend behind your back.” You nodded at him.

“I still don’t understand how I fit into this.” You scoffed rolling your eyes.

“Of course you don’t Chase.After everything I just told you and you’re still denying it.” You slid your phone into your pocket standing up.

“Where are you going? We aren’t finished here.”  

“Quite frankly I think we are.You either tell me how you really feel or watch me and my feelings towards you walk out that door Chase. I can’t keep waiting for you because it’s starting to feel like waiting for rain in a drought. I can’t be just friends with you anymore and if you don’t feel the same-”

“I love you.” He cut you off again.

“You What?”  

You weren’t sure if you heard him correctly.So when he rose from his seat and walked over to you and put his full lips on yours,letting you feel every emotion he was hiding you couldn’t help but let the tears you’ve been holding back fall from your eyes.

“Why are you crying?” Chase mumbled against your lips.

“You love me.”

“I’ve been in love with you since the moment I saw you hiding behind your brother all shy and flustered when I spoke to you.It was never about your age or my work habits, I just felt like you deserve the world and that I’m not good enough. I know it sounds stupid as fuck and I probably fucked up any chance of us but if you’ll have me I’d like to be your man and spend the rest of our lives making up for lost time. I’m not perfect but I’ll try my best.” He caressed your cheek,his forehead pressed against yours.Lips pushed against his as you kissed him slowly and softly,pouring your feelings into it.

“I’ll take that as a yes?” Chase questions once you pull away.

“Yeah,” you whisper still not over the fact that he admitted to loving you.You had honestly thought it would take more than you threatening to leave.

“So we’re really doing this?” He asked.

“Yeah,I guess we are.Are you sure about this? Are you sure you wanna be in this?” You asked to ensure that he wasn’t doing this just because of how you felt.

“100 percentin Baby.” He captured your lips into another kiss,this one more intense than the last.

“Sunghwa you owe me money!” You both pulled away laughing as you could hear Jay’s travel down the hall no doubt on his way to Sunghwa.
