That’s what they’d told the unnamed girl in the last town she’d passed through; she knew that this sorcery she could now use was called ‘alchemy’, and that it was no easy feat for any common person to achieve (it requires study, innate talent, and an understanding of chemistry and the world around you), but she didn’t know how other alchemists did it. Cornello had told her that her ability to transmute without a circle, or a stone like he’d used, had meant she was a god. Now, she’d doubted that she was anything but human, no matter what the conman had made the citizens of Liore, and in part, her believe (she had taken his word on being a holy man, but not quite on his claims of her godhood)...but she still didn’t know why all she needed to do was clap to perform a transmutation. According to the few alchemists she’d run into after fleeing the desert, you needed a circle, no ifs ands or buts... unless you were her, and that boy with the red coat who’d gotten rid of the faux priest, apparently. The teen hadn’t been able to catch him, or his massive armored companion before they’d left Liore. Wanting to know more about what was going on in this strange world around her and why she could do these things, she’d decided to track him down for answers. Having sold the golden crown Cornello had made her along the way for food, she’d mostly traveled on foot with naught more than a suitcase to hold what little she had, and the clothes on her back to find him. Traveling for weeks had garnered nothing... until today.
Walking down the streets of East City, the girl sighed to herself. It felt like she’d never find the mysterious alchemist at this rate, but as she was turning a corner... she spotted a silhouette cloaked in red ahead of her, a golden braid down his back. At last, she’d found him! The dark haired girl ran as fast as her legs could carry her to catch up to him.
“Hey, guy in the red coat! Please, Hold up a second!”

Okay so, shy little frat!Luke was in the hottest frat on campus and had girls constantly throwing themselves at him. And you being rad as all hell, were friends with some of the frat guys, so it was natural for you to be seen at frat parties and hanging out with Cal. Except for Luke who had been dragged downstairs to the party by his frat brothers because he was studying too much. And having succeeded in their previous mission, they were now making it their mission to get Luke to at least 2nd base tonight. Calum having heard the plan and loved it, decided that the perfect way to get Luke to 2nd base was body shots. And for Luke to do them off of a hot girl that he happened to be slightly crushing on would be even better. So Calum would basically carry you over one of his shoulders to the kitchen where everyone would be basically blocking Luke in and would then push him towards the granite island when volunteers for body shots were asked for. And he’d blush like crimson red and get all nervous when he sees that it’s you and would only do it when you would quietly tell him that some of the guys bet that he would chicken out. And everyone would like explode when he’d help you take your t-shirt off and lay you down onto the counter, watching Calum pour the tequila and the salt and put the lime wedge in your mouth. Luke would get all blushy again before lowering in face to your stomach and his mouth would be warm and it wasn’t until he was licking the salt that you’d even realized that he had a lip ring because it was cold against the warmth from his tongue. My favorite song by the Band Perry. I love the lyrics of this song, and I like how it’s a little more reminiscent of the self titled era TBP, whereas Pioneer era TBP was a lot bigger in sound. I love the musicianship in this song, as well as Kimberly’s raspy voice. I’m excited to see where their new music is heading.

Love this song from The Band Perry. It is definitely a departure from their country roots, but I like this as a pop sound for them. It is pop without being too drastically different from the Pioneer era TBP. Also, Kimberly sounds great in this song. I’m interested to see where their new music takes them.

Maybe I'm weird
I have to ask this. Why is it a desirable thing to go out to a bar or a dance hall or somewhere with the express intent of making out with someone? I'm just curious. I went out last night to a coworker's anniversary party. It was at a dance hall that they frequent at least once a week. I get there and have a blast for a few hours. After midnight I am sitting at one of the party reserved tables just resting after several line dances, also belting out with everyone else to the song "Don't Stop Believing". A man in a suit approaches me with a stunned look on his face, asking how big of a big ol boy my boyfriend is. I reply that I don't have one. He looks shocked. He asks me to continue singing and that my voice alone should have me a boyfriend. I was just having fun so I did. He then asks if he can kiss me.
(Break off here. I don't get out much. I was never asked out to parties and such in high school and I still don't now as an adult. It's just not something I do on a regular basis. I've never even had a boyfriend, only been kissed once, still a virgin, etc. Might as well get all that out there as well, it will make more sense to my state of mind later.)
I'd had a couple and was having fun. I said sure why not. So he leans in and goes for it. Now I'm not practiced in the act of kissing (as drawn from the aside above). So I'm just kinda sitting there and he is totally going at it, open-mouth, tongue action, all that jazz. I pull away and start to laugh. I play it off like "I don't even know you." and so he just engages me in conversation for a little bit until one of my coworkers comes over and graciously bails me out of the situation. I played it off but truly I was disgusted. I was having fun and tried it, and I'm not particularly a fan. I believe most of the answer is I'm not used to it. Perhaps it's an acquired liking. Maybe I tried it with the wrong guy. I don't know. But I really don't understand what it is people find attractive in that, making out with a complete stranger. It is so odd to me. I was flattered by his compliments. That is true. But I've grown up the ugly fat girl so I'm at that point where I've finally put attractiveness on the back-burner (as pertaining to judgement of a person. I don't mean "I'm not pretty so I don't even try".) Is it really an accurate reader into how attractive a person is simply by whether or not you make out with a stranger at a bar?
okay dear children, I have some questions.
am I supposed to be able to like, *pick* someone to have a crush on? like sometimes I just don't pick, and I still fall. but like..
okay so, I see someone, and I'm like, 'huh', and then we become friends, we hang out, i get to know them, and I'm like, yeah, you. And if I like fuel it, and I like keep that thought up, it STICKS. And I end up falling in love and having to have a serious sit down with my best friend that I just confessed to for the 3rd time, because I need to get over them. But if I just say it, and move on I can just, not? be like, yeah, no ew, and leave that fandom. but I choose to like people, to a point that is. After I cross a line, I have double crossed a line and you just can't do that.
Is this normal? Anyone?
