I just saw Doctor Sleep and I have a bunch of mixed feelings...
I’m glad that he was the hero, but I’m extremely sad because of the cost of him becoming a hero...
🎃 Halloween Idea 🎃
So, today marks exactly three months until Halloween! I have an idea that I want to share with y'all and need help fleshing it out. What if we had a Ewan Halloween celebration? Halloween falls on a Thursday this year and there will be five Thursdays in October. I'm thinking about hosting an online movie night each Thursday leading up to Halloween where we watch a scary Ewan movie! We can call it Ewanween, or HallowEwan, or just Halloween: Ewan Edition (I clearly need help with a name 😅). I can set up a discord for us to watch together at a chosen time. Maybe on Halloween day we can do a double feature or something! I'm open to ideas! I was also thinking of maybe incorporating spooky/scary fanart and fanfic. For example, if for the 2nd Thursday we watch Shallow Grave then on that day we can share our creations that have to do with the movie/characters. What do you think? I've never done something like that before so it might be outside my abilities to put that together. Plus, I know there are other, more established, fan events that happen throughout October. It's just a thought! Now, as for the movies, we need five. I made a list of seven Ewan movies that I felt fit the Halloween vibe. If this idea garners interest, then I'll make a poll for us to narrow down the choices. Please let me know your thoughts and share with anyone you think will be interested!

POV u get Danny Torrance to telekinetically get you a bag of Doritos while giving you sexy eyes. That’s it. That’s the plot.
“Boy wonder, you think you could, uh…”
She pounded her fist twice on the vending machine, metal spikes of her bracelet clanking against the plexiglass.
Danny rolled his eyes with a smirk but turned to the vending machine anyway, mentally shaking her prize free from the rusted coils after a moment of Intense staring.
“Thank you.”
She said as she fished the Doritos from behind the heavy hinged door of the machines receptacle, beaming as she offered him a chip. His shoulders shifted in silent amusement as he looked at her smiling face then the chip bag, sheepishly taking a Dorito.
“So uh, Abras coming soon right?”
Dan nodded.
“Yeah. After she gets here we can all go somewhere, how’s iHOP sound?”
If someone a month ago had told her she’d be going to iHOP with a gorgeous psychic and his even more psychic niece at 12 AM, she wouldn’t have believed them.
She winced, hoping he hadn’t heard the gorgeous part. If he did he hadn’t showed any reaction.
She was used to guarding her thoughts, a natural instinct afforded to the intuitive that she’d always chalked up as little more than paranoia. she wasn’t sure whether her mental security system was up to par to contain her psychic leakage from a mind reader. It wasn’t like she was used to being around telepaths. She appreciated Danny’s respect of her boundaries, that or his disinterest in her thoughts despite their volume ,either way it worked out favorably seeing as how she’d rather he not overhear her minds constant lament of him.
Sometimes though, she wished he knew, especially in moments like these where he seemed to , looking over her with a gaze that looked both hungry and tender, If such a thing was possible. He was full of impossibilities. His voice was gentle when he spoke next, tone afflicted with a sense of intimacy that blurred her vision enough to make the shine of his eyes seem dangerously close to adoration. “What’re you thinking about?” He shouldered the machine, leaning forward a touch, hands stuffed in the corduroy of his pockets. She noted they could probably switch clothes without much consequence, it was the Midwest and she’d always been a fan of grandpa sweaters.
She hummed, dusting the chip dust from her fingers. “Just stuff.” He didn’t pry, he never did. She wondered if he even needed to, how much of an open book was she, even subtracting her shine? From the distinct err of concern that clung to him (much like his cologne that made her want to sway forward, further into the orbit of his personal space) she doubted he’d caught wind. He watched her for a long moment and she allowed him, frozen by her fear of rejection to do much else but stare back. If she’d ever encountered such a thing as sexual tension, this was it.
He cleared his throat, rubbing his face, dispelling whatever shine spell had taken over the room. Now she really wanted to know what he’d been thinking, although she didn’t need her gift to know.
