he wod blush a deep pink color and softly pant while trying his best to stay quet, maybe you will even hear the distinguished gentleman master diluc stutter.

so since he got so shy and embarrassed be sure to praise him lots and reasure him its fine to take it slow.

i rly want to spoil diluc, give him everything he wants, he just needs to ask nicely

he is such a good boy so ofc he deserves it from time to time, and what in the world could even feel better than making your pretty boy feel good?

he would never forget to say please and thank you, even asking if he can cum even tho you never said he needs to ask tonight.

diluc would get so shy when asking for what he wants so dont tease him! just give him a soft kiss and get to work!

make love to him until all of his stress and worries leave his pretty head.

imagine giving virgin diluc his first blow job

i feel like his main concerne would be hurting you so he would hold his hips still not daring to move and with his self controle (read: history of represing himselfe) he would make it without fucking into your throat

he would def genetly hold your hair away from your face

even with butterflys in his stomack and fog of lust in his head he would tell you to stop anytime if you want to, always a gentleman ๐Ÿฅฐ

and later make sure to tell him he did a good job holding still for you

could you do diluc being a brat so reader puts him a chastity Cage and teases him?

ofc, your brain is so big for this im sorry this took so long uni is riuning my life of being a diluc simp

maybe you spoil him too much so this is why he now thinks he can behave like this.

it was unlike him to be such a brat but even if its rare you cant just let it go can you?

his punishment for touching you and cuming without premission will be wearing a chastity chage

when he saw you bringing it over you could see the disapointment in his eyes "please, im sorry" and "i didnt mean to" as well as other exuses mean nothing to you right now

you tie him up so he cant repeat what he did moments ago and lock his dick in the cage

as he selfishy came before it was now your turn, you sat on his lap and started rubing against his caged dick

wimpers and cute little moans were comin from diluc and you were sure he would leak through the cage

you grab a strand of his pretty hair and rub faster "if only you were good before maybe i would have let you inside" the disapointment is clear on his pretty, tear stained face but this is his own doing in the end

the only question left is how long will you leave his pretty dick in the cage?

p.s i am Not prof reading this yall...

Pegging Diluc For The First Time Would Be Ughhhhh It Would Be Absolutely Amazing. Poor Boy Was Already

he would be so into it from the moment he heard about pegging! i think like with all things with him you would have to take it slow, start with playing with his ass sometimes then move onto fingering him until he finaly says he needs more.

it would not be sex with diluc without conflicting emotions on his side, so make sure he knows how much you want it too and that ist a pleasure to make him feel good.

master diluc asking to be fucked with red cheeks and eyes looking anywhere but your face is a delight to imagine

but hes a good boy who knows how to ask for the things he wants and as a revard he will get it. always, i mean who could say no to him

specialy when hes on his back on the bed, pretty hair as soft as silk framing his face and with teary eyes confirming he wants this, wants you right now

kinks and turn ons i think diluc would have:

1. bondage, giving up control is a big turn on for him so naturaly he enjos being tied. the attention you put on his body while tying him up also plays a part in him loving it so much

2. praise, ofc, just lives for praise and he Will work for it. loves when you compliment his looks, calling him as pretty as an angel but what really gets him going is the praise you give while he is pleasuring you. call him a good boy while runing your fingers through his locks and he will melt.

3. coruption kink but hear me out: i hc him as a good church boy, saving himself for marrige and so he would not try to start anything sexual, how could he even think to deflower you before marrige, but that is whats so hot when it becomes aperent his partner wants sex and starts teasing him about master diluc taking their virginity

4. orgasm control, similar to the first one really. would love for you to edge him for hours until he dosent have a single thought in his head besides how much he needs to cum.

5. oral, loves giving it. he just lives to serve. i think acts of service is his love language so what better way to show his love and devotion then to spend an hour between your legs?

diluc would have such soft and pretty moans, at least in the beginning of the night

like he would not be loud but he would make noises constantly

soft pants and sharp breaths, that turn into soft, melodic moans

and if he feels really good and starts geting loud he would be so embarrassed, hiding his face in your neck

even while making out he would moan on acident and its so cute how needy and shy he gets after it

maybe he wound even tell you how he wants you to touch him, and that is all you need to hear

make his every wish come true until he breaks under you from so much pleasure and finally stops holding his pretty moans back

his deep voice turning into high piched moans of your name as you fuck him

It was a cold night in Mondstadt, not cold enough for snow but cold enough to keep most people off the cobblestone streets, and into bars or their homes. You were in your kitchen putting the apple pie you so lovingly made for Diluc into a white box with a bright red bow on the lid.

You hoped tonight would be the night that he would notice all your advances and hints about your feelings towards him, it was tedious to keep waiting for him to notice. Too many times you have gone to bed feeling annoyed at his obliviousness to your signals.

You snapped yourself out of your thoughts and grabbed the now neatly wrapped box and the Gray valley sunset drink that you made for him and exited your house being careful not to drop the pie or drink.

You began to think about Diluc again, heโ€™s been your best friend since you two were teens and over the years youโ€™ve grown a crush on him. He was always so nice and caring towards you, which comes as a surprise to most considering most know him for being cold and emotionless. But heโ€™s never been like that towards you. Once again you were snapped out of your thoughts as you can hear Donna talking about Diluc

Although you donโ€™t have anything against Donna liking Diluc, you find it annoying to constantly hear her talk about him. But you try not to dwell on those thoughts as you try to hurry before Diluc closes the bar.

You carefully make it up the steps before speed-walking to the entrance of Angleโ€™s share. You make your way inside and notice no one inside, which means Diluc was about to close. Diluc was about to tell whoever just entered to leave before he turned around and saw you.

โ€œHello, y/n, what brings you here?โ€

โ€œHi, Diluc! Iโ€™m here to drop off a pie I made for you, and I brought you a drink tooโ€

You handed the pie and drink to Diluc with a warm smile while he had a small look of surprise on his face

โ€œThank you y/n, how thoughtful of you.โ€

He said as he took the pie and drink setting it on the counter and then going back to getting ready to close the bar.

You frowned, his reaction wasnโ€™t what you expected. You sigh,

โ€œI guess Iโ€™ll have to tell him myself..โ€

โ€œHey, Dilucโ€ฆCan we talk for a second?โ€

He stopped what he was doing before looking up at you.

โ€œYes? Whatโ€™s wrong?โ€

โ€œDilucโ€ฆโ€

โ€œI really like you. And I just want to know if you feel the sameโ€

โ€œโ€ฆโ€

You did it. You told him. It wasnโ€™t as romantic as you wanted it to sound but at this point, you were done waiting for him. But now you were nervous, you could hear your own heartbeat and you could feel your face heating up from the pressure.

โ€œIโ€™mโ€ฆSorry y/n but I donโ€™t feel the same... you are my friend and I don't see you in any other way."

"Oh.."

โ€œT-thatโ€™s alright! I just needed to get that off my chest.โ€ You said glancing to the ground, too upset to see his face.

โ€œIโ€™ll be leaving now..have a good nightโ€ You said quickly as you turned around to leave.

โ€œWait y/nโ€

You stop and look over your shoulder

โ€œโ€ฆIโ€™m sorryโ€

You turned back to face the door before you let yourself out.

Once outside you feel the cold air hit your face, cooling your cheeks and the tears you didnโ€™t know you were shedding.

You sigh as you walk back home with blurry eyes filled with tears.

 31 - Between Ice And Flame || Diluc X Fem!reader X Kaeya

Summary: It's not easy being stuck between a Cavalry Captain and the Master of Dawn Winery.

Warnings: smut

Word count: 1717

Author: Cass

A/N: The prompt for today is: Love Triangle

 31 - Between Ice And Flame || Diluc X Fem!reader X Kaeya

To say you're stuck would be an understatement.

Love is supposed to be a beautiful thing; a magical moment when your heart chooses one man or woman above all others and intertwines your hearts until death separates you.

Of course, it's a little more complicated for you.

Your heart couldn't settle on one man - it was torn between two. Your common sense did nothing to help the situation; no matter what you do or think, you still can't decide.

You've known Kaeya and Diluc your entire life; the three of you grew up together and have remained friends despite your differences.

They are so similar yet so different, and each has something that draws you in.

You're trapped.

 31 - Between Ice And Flame || Diluc X Fem!reader X Kaeya

You knock on Kaeya's office door with a deep sigh and wait for permission to enter.

Once granted, you do exactly that and walk in, holding papers in your hand.

"So, I was hoping you'd come here for a good reason. Do you intend to bury me in work today?" He inquires, raising an eyebrow. "It's already late at night, and you've brought me more work? I guess I won't be able to pay a visit to a dear brother of mine tonight."

You chuckle and roll your eyes. You hope to take a comfortable seat on the desk after placing papers on it.

"Don't be concerned. I have just as much on my desk as you do, and I'm still not done assisting Lisa in the library."

"Is that correct?" He hums and stands up between your legs. "Our sweet, little assistant. You're so sweet. Will you also be my assistant?"

Kaeya's hands rest on either side of you, encircling you. The Cavalry captain smirks and kisses you passionately.

You quickly return his kiss, allowing him to cup the back of your head freely to keep you in place.

It is difficult to resist Kaeya's kisses. Always intense and leaving you gasping for air. His tongue easily takes over your mouth, only to quickly pull away, leaving a thick string of saliva connecting the two of you.

Even though it's only the beginning, you already look cute and done.ย

"Look at yourself. Isn't one kiss enough to get you going, snowflake?" Kaeya teases as his hand travels down your stomach, easily slipping under your skirt and accessing your panties.

"Kaeya..." you murmur, but you do nothing to stop him at this point.

He kisses your brow. "Don't worry about it. You'll still be able to work. Let's be honest: we both need and deserve a break."

You nod, biting your lower lip. He is correct. You both worked all day, so you definitely deserve a break. You spread your legs wider, allowing him complete access to your heat.

"Such a good girl," he says as he pushes your skirt up to easily remove your panties. Kaeya then kneels in front of you, placing your legs on his shoulders. He nibbles at the flesh of your tight with a soft hum before diving between your legs to wrap his lips around your clit.

As he eats you out like a starving man, sucking the bundle of nerves and fucking you with his tongue, obscene sounds fill the room.

As your hand moves into his hair, his cold fingers join in the fun, making you moan. While he continues to abuse your clit, Kaeya's fingers work slowly, hitting all the right spots and teasing your soft walls.

He finally receives his wish. You whimper loudly, your hand covering your lips so no one can hear your pitiful moans.

With a cocky smile, the Cavalry captain pulls away. He slowly rises to his feet, only to sink into a comfortable chair and undo his pants. "It's time to repay the favor, snowflake. I, too, am stressed," Kaeya reminds you by pulling his hard cock and giving his erected shaft a few, lazy strokes.

You roll your eyes and jump off the desk, hoping to land between his legs. You eagerly take his cock and lick it from base to tip before wrapping your lips around the head.

Kaeya moves his gloved hand through your hair, pulling it back slightly so he can see your lovely face as you suck him off. He lets you do your job, allowing you to keep the peace and play with him in whatever way you want. Your hand encircles his balls, causing him to hiss in surprise. He groans as you touch him, his hips bucking slightly.

Suddenly, Kaeya grabs the back of your head and forces you down on his member while choking you with his cum as he reaches his peak.

You quickly move away, catching your breath and giving him an angry look.

"Please, forgive me. I just couldn't stop myself," he shrugs and gets out of his chair to fix his pants.

He then extends his hand and assists you in standing back up so that you appear as presentable as possible.

"That was unnecessary, but I'll put it aside. This time, however," you mutter, your arms crossed across your chest.

"Oh, snowflake. I promise you that the next time will be better and less hurried," Kaeya makes a promise with his hand over his heart. "And maybe next time you'll stay a little longer with me?"

You sigh deeply and kiss him goodbye before returning to your work.

 31 - Between Ice And Flame || Diluc X Fem!reader X Kaeya

Your work is finally finished after a few hours!

You have the option of going home and resting, so that is exactly what you do. You're on your way home after a few quick goodbyes.

Mondstadt is relatively quiet this late at night, which makes you happy.

You are relieved that people can sleep peacefully through the night without fear for their lives.ย

You round the corner and come to a complete stop, seeing no one else but Diluc. When you notice a blood stain on his shoulder, your heart starts racing. You dash towards him, almost dropping your bag. "What's the matter, Diluc?"

When he notices you approaching him, he frowns.

It's far too late for you to be out there; you should be safe inside. "Y/N. Why are you staying out so late?"

"I'm getting back from work. I asked you a question," you remind him, your eyebrow cocked as you approach him.

He sighs softly as he looks over his shoulder and then back at you. "It's nothing more than a minor mishap at Angel's Share. No need to be concerned; I'll take care of it once I return to the winery."

"No way I let you wander like that," you tell him. "Come on, I'm taking you to my place, I'll feel calmer after treating this wound."

Diluc looks at you for a moment before nodding. He is well aware that he can't argue with you. There is no lie that can save him at this point. "Well, since you insist, I'm not going to say no."

You led him right into your house. After both of you step in, you lock the door and ask him to take his shirt off.

Diluc reluctantly removes his coat and then, per your request, removes his shirt.

You ask him to sit on the couch and after bringing a box with necessary things like hydrogen peroxide, you start treating his wound. "How did this happen?"

"As I mentioned, there was a minor accident at Angel's Share," he responds quickly. "However, as you can see, nothing serious."

"You know I care about you, that's my nature," you tell him; somehow your hand moves up and down his chest.

"That is your nature, indeed. That's my lovely, firefly," Diluc says softly before kissing your cheek. His arms encircled your waist, drawing you in closer. His kisses travel from your cheek to your neck and further to your shoulder. "I don't like how Knights make you stay at work for so long," Diluc grumbles as he looks at you.

Oh, he's jealous.

It's nothing new; there's always been some sibling rivalry between the three of you since you were kids.

In all honesty, it always makes and continues to make you nervous; you love them both, you can't choose between them, and you don't want them to fight.

You kissed Diluc's forehead, moving your hands through his hair and gently tugging it. "I know, but it has to be done sometimes. I would not have met you or helped you if it hadn't been for this."

"My little firefly," Diluc says softly as his warm hands slip right under your shirt, pushing it up to expose you as much as he wants.

Without thinking, you grab the shirt hem and pull it over your head, tossing it to the side.

He says nothing and simply begins to worship your body, kissing and touching every inch of your skin.

Soon after, you're pushed onto the couch, and your skirt and panties are removed, joining the shirt on the floor.

Diluc hovers over your body and kisses you softly on the cheek.

You return the kiss, your hands eagerly moving to his pants to gently push them down.

He gets the hint and pulls away from you to get rid of unnecessary clothing.ย

You stare at him, his impressive body and even more impressive member. Licking your lips, you gently push him away and climb back onto his lap. "Look at yourself, Master Diluc. Wounded but still waiting for me," you playfully take his cock in your hand and guide it into your entrance.ย

"Fuck, you are so tight. So perfect, my perfect Y/N,"ย  Diluc groans, wrapping arms around you.

You groan as you feel full inside your cunt. Nodding softly, you begin to move, slowly at first but gradually increasing your speed.

Diluc moves his hips to match your pace, wrapping his arm around your waist to keep you as close as possible. He keeps whispering sweet nothings and praises into your ear.

You begin to move your hips more quickly, chasing your release.

He grabs your hips and begins thrusting into you hard, making you whimper with each push.

Soon, you cum with a loud moan, your walls tightly hugging him and milking him dry.

Diluc gasps, nuzzling to your shoulder.ย  "I wish I could call you mine forever," he whispers.

little star โ€” diluc ใ€‚

synopsis!! everyone knows the creator doesn't favor diluc (everyone is wrong).

cw !! gn reader, reader is peak diluc simp ๐Ÿ˜ somewhat self-aware characters, mild sagau themes (not too much), reader is recognized as the player, reader is a little shy at first. angst with reverse comfort!

note !! the plot feels a little everywhere but i tried to organize it as best as i can, i think i got carried away eheh honestly doesn't feel up to my standards but it was pretty enjoyable to write

word count !! 2.8k something

"No, it's definitely Outrider Amber, she was the first to ever be favored."

"Are you kidding me? Outrider Amber may be the first, but sir Kaeya was definitely loved. Have you seen the sword he was gifted with?" One growls.

"It's the Acting Grand Master Jean!" Someone slams the table with his beer mug, "Twice was she bestowed with fallen stars of gold."

"I'd say that wolf boy in the woods seem lucky."

"It has to be Bennett. I don't know why but that kid has two crowns! Two!"

"You're all missing out on Miss Lisa!"

"Stop, stop! You rowdy drunks! Every vision holder in Mond has been granted favor, this is just impossible to decide!"

There was a pause. "Well. . . not every." Someone mumbles under their breath.

"Not every? Who's the poor allogene that couldn't even get the Player's favoโ€”" Shushing sounds break his sentence, the men glare at their companion, pointing to the redhead behind the bar.

It's useless, really.

Diluc has been listening in the entire time. He can't really help it when their voices were loud enough to reach where he stood. Still, he was merciful and pretended not to hear. He's not exactly bothered by what they're saying. It was the truth, after all.

For two years, vision holders all around Teyvat were being granted favor.

It often begins with a meteor shower gracing the sky.

A star gently falling into the hands of a vision holder, embracing them in warm light.

They call the ethereal sensation as something akin to "coming home".

The favored would then be given different things; quality weapons, enhanced abilities, beautiful crownsโ€” Some allogenes were even gifted summer apparel (Mondstadt is proud that their Gunnhildr sisters were one of the very first). Even their equipped wings would change into ornamented works of art!

It's been two years, and it seems like every allogene he knows of has received the Player's grace.

He supposed he just wasn't favored. It isn't too difficult to believe that he isn't likable.

He convinces himself it's fine.

It's fine if his summoned weapon is a cheap claymore made of scrap metal. It's still efficient to have the extra blade while he manually carries around another claymore (commissioned from Wagner as the best money could buy). Or that his abilities can only be improved through hardwork, unlike the many who broke the limits of their power through your favor.

It's fine.

As the bar goers leave for the night, as Venti and Kaeya wave around their almost divine-looking five-star weapons to show the crowd, and as he's closing up the tavern and retreating to his upstair quarters for comfort, he convinces himself that the he'll be okay on his own.

โ€ข

The arrival of the Creator was festive and grand; The day the sky parted itself and glowed as the brightest of all stars fell with grace into Mondstadt's very own Windrise.

Teyvat rejoices in the ecstatic ideal of being loved.

A meeting of vision holders was quickly held in the Cathedral, discussing immediate plans as some of the most favored (Venti, Jean, Kaeya, Albedo to name a few) went ahead to fetch the Creator from the large tree.

While Diluc was often the center of any other meeting due to his authority and influence, this was something he chose to step back from. Standing by the windows, away from the meeting, he watched on as Eula and the rest conversed around the circular table.

He isn't even sure why he's invited. Perhaps they felt it was obligatory for vision holders, regardless of favorability? Then again, he could always offer a fraction of his mountain-loads of wealth to help with the festivities.

At least he's competent at being a wallet.

As the others pull out their crowns and stars, weapons and artifacts, eager to thank the one responsible for the gifts, an unknown emotion bubbles in his stomach. It's faint, but it's there.

He tries to look away.

"Everyone, everyone! They're entering the gates!" Fischl announces uncharacteristically to the room as her eye glows brightly, undoubtedly looking through Oz's eyes from the sky.

"We should wait by the statue to welcome them, right?" Barbara chirps in, hands clasped and wavy hair bouncing with every step.

Diluc watches as people steadily leave the room, following last as they walk down the steps to greet the approaching group. Some civilians gathered to see the scene, others didn't really understand what a Player or Creator was to a vision holder, while Dilucโ€”

Diluc stood by the steps to see them crowd around you.

You, surrounded with words of gratitude and cheerful squeals. He sees the smile on your face and feels relief that you don't seem too overwhelmed.

He leaves the area without a second thought.

โ€ข

He doesn't exactly see you around the next few days. With Mondstadt celebrating a new festival, the taverns were always full and busy with customers (both local and foreign). You were probably busy too, spending time with the different allogenes and entertaining those who came from Liyue to meet you. He's heard of a funeral consultant with three crowns (are consultants that admirable of a job to you?) and an adeptus gifted with various five-star polearms (this was understandable for the adepti, unlike the consultant).

He doesn't expect to see you at all until you leave for the next nation, honestly.

That is, until the tavern settles into a more peaceful atmosphere and Jean rushes in with several other allogenes. It's unusual to see his childhood friend in the tavern; still, he greets her amicably and asks what brings her here.

"(Name) will be coming here soon with Kaeya and a few others. It's a little impromptu, but we were hoping for a place to settle in with drinks. Perhaps try some apple cider." She smiles, taking a seat by the bar.

(Name)? Jean was already on a first name basis with the Creator?

Diluc thinks perhaps Jean truly is the favorite, she does have a few golden stars in her home.

Somehow, it's not surprising at all to know that his apple cider was famous enough to drag you in. At least there's something about the Dawn Winery in your favor. He promptly gets his employees to work, clearing a few tables near the bar, rearranging the furniture to give space good enough for a group.

Your entrance into the bar was just as lively; with your favored allogenes chatting away with you, everyone falling into place at different parts of the tavern, ordering drinks and meals.

He's glad you enjoy apple cider.

โ€ข

You're trying to play it cool, really. Trying your best not to get overexcited and glomp everyone and everything.

You're taking things step by step as you converse with Jean, Lisa, and Albedo; as you share meals with Barbara and Sucrose; as you play with Klee and Diona; tour the city with Fischl and Bennett. There's plenty of time to meet everyone and your schedule has been filled to the brim with all the fun your having.

You'll see that glimpse of red hair againโ€” one that was lingering by the Cathedral staircase. Diluc doesn't like crowds, so it's fine that he isn't approaching you. It's also fine that he hasn't visited at least once, unlike the several raging from Liyue to Sumeru who took the journey to meet you early.

Diluc is too busy a person to meet you; whether it's because of the winery or his darknight hero duties, you wouldn't dare take his time.

โ€” but when are you supposed to give him all the gifts you've brought for him???

Your determination to build him up in one go, from Talent levels to Constellations to Artifacts and Weaponry, all came down to this moment โ€” and the man was simply nowhere to be seen!

An unknowingly loud sigh escapes your lips, catching the attention of the Cavalry Captain next to you.

"Now, what's got our (Name) so down in the dumps?" Kaeya hums, glancing at your face as you stutter a response.

"Aah it's not that, it's just. . ."

Your brother is too busy, I just want to meet him!!

"I'm thirsty." You deflect, looking around for a stall. The streets of Mond were nothing like the minimized version you see in the game; with the city being ten times larger than what you remembered it to be.

"Oh! Oh! Klee suggests apple cider!" The little girl giggles, running around your legs in excitement, "Angel's Share is nearby and big brother Albedo alwaaays takes me there for apple cider!"

Angel's Share. Bartender. A great idea has appeared!

At the excited look on your face, Jean walks up ahead of you.

"Why don't I go and inform the tavern to prepare us a space first, it would save us the waiting time."

"That would be great, Jean!"

โ€ข

You hope you aren't being too obvious.

With the way your eyes would linger on him, casting side glances and hoping he would greet you to strike up a conversation, the way most allogenes do. You didn't want to abruptly disturb his work, nor do you want seem desperate, so you waited for his initiative.

Yet, Diluc lingers just a little outside your group's circle. Your food and drinks were refilled by Charles, you've talked with nearly everyone but the person you want to talk to.

"It's getting pretty late, we should head home for the night." Someone suggests.

What?

No!

"Hm? Do you still have something in mind?" Kaeya asks. You realized you said it out loud, catching the attention of nearby patrons.

With a frantic glance around the tavern, your eyes make contact with Diluc's. He pauses as well, wondering what caused your little outburst.

You are definitely not leaving, not when you don't know when you could catch Diluc in his free time again! You'd be leaving for Liyue by then!

Hands slamming the table to stand up and with a small burst of courage, you approach the bartender who turns away from Charles. He raises an eyebrow at your approach. It's odd the way you feel flustered and nervous, finally facing him.

Pausing just in front of him, he looks on curiously.

"Would you like a refill?" He asks.

"A-ah no, I mean, yes but that's not why I'm here. I. . ." You stutter, stumbling over your words as you try not to behave awkwardly. Should you start with a casual topic?

"You seem to be quite busy." You say.

Diluc blinks. He isn't sure what you're implying. Neither is Kaeya or Jean, who stopped to look at the exchange of words.

"I suppose. . . but as a winery, we do thrive in impromptu festivities." He replies curtly before realizing, was it rude that he never visited the Creator?

"Ah, is it my lack of visit? I apologize, I would have visited but it seems that you were quite satisfied with your favorites and-"

"No, no, no," You wave your hand, cutting him off, "I understand you're busy. You don't have to visit at all! How could I take your timeโ€” wait," You pause, recalling his words.

"Favorites?" You tilt your head, "What do you mean I seemed satisfied with my favorites? What do you mean by favorites?"

"Your favorites... allogenes who received your favor. Those you have granted gifts."

Your jaw laxes. Favorites? They decided you play favorites based on how much you've built them?

"You think. . ." You say carefully, not wanting to hurt anyone's feelings, "That I offer gifts to my favorites?"

Diluc nods slowly, unsure of your questioning.

Although it would be a lie to say you didn't have your personal favorites, it would still be inaccurate that it's based on gifts. After all, you built everyone who came home by chance. As an avid player, you did your best to farm and push everyone to their full potential.

Diluc, however, never came home no matter how much you wanted him to. It can't be possible that he doesn't know how much he is loved, right?

"Then what about you?" You blurt out, "How do you think I view you?"

He stares at you oddly. At this point, many around you had stopped to tune in. Everyone knew Master Diluc never received your favor, so why are you conversing with him?

Meanwhile, Diluc wonders if you want him to admit it. Must he say it in front of everyone how he never received gifts?

"I suppose. . . I'm not one of them. It's quite understandable. I don't intend to question your judgementโ€”"

"What?" You exclaim, a look of shock crosses your face, "You think I don't like you?" Voice raised in disbelief, you feel the eyes of many turning to watch the scene.

Diluc mirrors your confusion.

"I can't believe you wouldโ€“ no, that isn't it at all!" You stutter over your words, a frantic need to prove him wrong goes through you, "Youโ€” you of all people!"

"Me?" He repeats.

"I've always wanted you!"

A silence settles over the tavern. Did you have to put it so bluntly? You freeze in shock at your own words. Diluc's expression of disbelief turns flustered, face turning as red as his hair.

Explain yourself.

"I- I mean, I've always wanted you to come home. Ever since the start, really! It's just that you never did-"

"Hmm... so it implies that it's out of your control, correct?" Kaeya piqued, looking on curiously. He's been listening in the entire time. You nod your head.

"Yes! It's a game of chance for me as well. It's not to say that favor is an accident, I truly wanted everyone to come home! It's just thatโ€”" You turn to Diluc, "You never did, no matter how much I wanted you to. How was I supposed to give you your gifts?"

Diluc snaps out of his shock, blinking at you, "Gifts?"

"Yes, gifts! I've been saving them up for you, ever since the start." You pause, shyly looking away, "When I said I wanted you since the beginning I meant it. I came here for you, after all."

He looks at you in disbelief, and probably half the tavern as well. You can't help the small chuckle from your lips. With an outstretched hand, something materializes between you. It glows a blinding golden light, before settling to revealโ€“

"Wolf's Gravestone. It's a weapon for you."

You didn't have to say itโ€” anyone with eyes could see how it was practically made for Diluc. With large handles and a color scheme that matches his own, Wolf's gravestone doesn't look as divine or ethereal as the other weapons you've gifted, but it looked just as powerful, if not menacing.

With a gesture, Diluc grips the handle.

"Fits like a glove." Kaeya whistles, impressed. As does the rest of the tavern who stopped to stare.

Suddenly, flames burst forth from the weapon. It sears and glows red. Unlike the common claymore that can't handle the the prowess of Diluc's flames, Wolf's Gravestone embraces it. Like an extension of his own hand.

He breaks his gaze away from the weapon to look at you.

"Thank you. . ." He mutters softly, but it's genuine. You smile.

"That's not the last of it, you know."

"What?"

With another flick of your hand, artifacts and talent books materialize. They flow around him like a dance as more and more begin to appear, lighting up the tavern like the night sky.

"I told you I brought gifts!"

All the days spent farming for him and other pyro characters finally paid off. The glimmering artifacts reflected in his own red eyes as he stares, entranced.

Favor did not come to him in meteor showers like it did to the other allogenes; rather, it came to him in your form. Proof of him being loved. The spectacle continuedโ€” after the artifacts and talent levels were the constellation (the crowd ooh'ed and aah'ed at the sight), then came the five star apparel (a nostalgic sight to him, and it changed his flames to a darker red), and the ascension materials you passed off as trinkets.

By the end of it, he had a hand over his lower face, his red bangs hid just the ends of his eyes. "I just thought I wasn't that favorable. . ." He muttered and you leaned in to peek at his covered face, wondering why he was shying away.

But it was evident to the tavernโ€” the pink dusted ears, the flushed cheeks, and the overwhelming emotion in his eyes. Diluc Ragnvindr was flustered, and it's a sight enough to make even the drunks place down their beers for a closer look.

You bit your lip, trying to prevent the widest of smiles, "Do you believe yourself loved now?" You ask and he gives the faintest of nods.

"Thank you," He says, "For favoring me."

just thinking about being so in sync with diluc that when the pair of you fight on the battlefield it somehow turns into a stage.

you cover each otherโ€™s weaknesses so perfectly that the scene almost looks choreographed- a dance of death, fatal only to those close enough to the performance.

he hits hard but you hit faster. you strike high, he swerves low. a twist, a single turn, and all of a sudden your backs are pressed close together.

hot. flushed.

one sidestep to the right and heโ€™s already covering the area youโ€™d just left, a heavy claymore swinging down in a blaze of crimson to cut down whoever dared to attack you. his flames lick at your sides, but they never burn.

this feeling, the constant rush of heat and adrenaline, of safety, itโ€™sโ€”

itโ€™s addictive. thrilling. thatโ€™s what it is.

these unspoken vows of protection.

you could get lost in the beat of metal clashing upon metal, to the melody of your shared grunts and hastily-spoken warnings.

oh, archons could you get lost in this duet of life and death. to lose yourself to these familiar steps and drown in the sensation of lulling flames would be a fate youโ€™d almost willingly resign yourself to.

but itโ€™s unintentional, this dance. it goes unnoticed by the performers but onlookers can see just how well you two synergise.

subconscious coordination.

perhaps thatโ€™s why he always agrees to pair up with you on these missions. with anyone else heโ€™d scoff at the mere thought, for what is a partner but only a hindrance, a liability?

no, youโ€™re neither. not to him.

because he knows that no matter the situation, youโ€™d always have his back just as he had yours.

a silent promise for the oblivious.

Sleepy Cuddles

Just some headcanons of mine that I have for whenever you want to sleep on them

Characters- Alhaitham, Diluc, Kaeya, Zhongli, Xiao, Childe

Warning- Slight spoilers for Diluc and Kaeyaโ€™s backstories

Notes: I didnโ€™t expect my Capitano oneshot to get so much love! Thank you all!

Part 2

Masterlist

Alhaitham

It takes him a little while to warm up to it, but he loves cuddling with you when heโ€™s about to fall asleep.

Heโ€™ll be reading a book while you lay down on his chest, an arm draped over your back as you sleep.

He occasionally looks down to make sure that youโ€™re sleeping peacefully.

Yes, he will throw the book at Kaveh if he comes into the room to say anything. No, it doesnโ€™t matter what it is that Kaveh wants to say, heโ€™s still getting a book thrown at him.

After a while of reading, Alhaitham also gets tired, and decides to call it a night.

He always whispers words of comfort in your ear as you drift off, and plays with your hair once youโ€™ve fallen asleep.

Another habit of his is that heโ€™ll run his fingers through your hair as you sleep, which soothes him almost as much as it does you. It helps with the stress he feels after a long day of work.

Diluc

You have to drag him to bed the first time you want to do this with him.

However, once he finds out how warm and fuzzyย he feels inside every time he holds you like this, heโ€™s willing to go to bed with you the moment you ask.

He loves physical touch, itโ€™s comforting to him when he can make sure that youโ€™re there and that youโ€™re really, truly in his arms.

If you run your fingers through his hair while you lay on top of him, heโ€™ll absolutely melt.

It generally takes him longer to fall asleep since heโ€™s so alert all the time, but itโ€™s also because he wants to make sure youโ€™re alseep before he is.

His bird has a perch by the window in case it ever needs to leave the Winery. The window stays slightly cracked open unless itโ€™s Winter and itโ€™s freezing outside.

Then again, the cold is all the more reason to snuggle up to him, isnโ€™t it?

Kaeya

He immediately falls in love with the idea of cuddling with you when you fall asleep, and instantly starts doing so.

Kaeya always holds at least one of your hands, but will also have the unoccupied arm around your waist.

Heโ€™s actually very warm for someone so lithe. Youโ€™d expect him to be freezing most nights, but itโ€™s usually quite the opposite.

However, he has mean bedhead, and he also moves around a lot in his sleep.

He likes to cuddle after a long work day when heโ€™s absolutely floored because of how much he had to do.

Kaeya also likes to trace little shapes in your back and see if you can guess what they are.

Heโ€™s just a romantic like that.

Zhongli

Heโ€™s a very good cuddle buddy. Heโ€™s very warm, and his voice is what puts you to sleep most of the time.

Thatโ€™s not to say that he doesnโ€™t treasure the quieter moments between the two of you.

Nine times out of ten, you fall asleep in his lap while heโ€™s reading a book.

The other times are when heโ€™s telling you a story or talking about his day while the two of you lay in bed together.

His love language is physical touch and I will die on this hill.

If youโ€™re having trouble sleeping, heโ€™ll make you some tea or read you the book heโ€™s reading.

Heโ€™ll also run his fingers through your hair as heโ€™s speaking to try and soothe you further to sleep.

It almost always works.

Xiao

Heโ€™s scared to have you sleep on him at first.

Xiao doesnโ€™t want to harm you in any way with his Karmic Debt, but eventually, after you persist for weeks, he obliges, and lets you lay down against him.

He warms up to the idea of you sleeping on him very quickly, and soon enough, he starts asking you to join him when he sleeps.

He likes it when you run your fingers through his hair. If you do it long enough, heโ€™ll fall asleep before you.

Sometimes, whenever his Karmic Debt gets to be a little too much, heโ€™ll lay down on you and hold onto you until it passes and he starts to feel better.

Xiao also likes to massage your back to try and soothe you if you let him, acts of service is his love language.

He cherishes every moment heโ€™s with you, and moments like these are the ones he holds closest to his heart.

Childe

Good luck getting him to stay still. He needs to be doing stuff every waking moment he has.

However, if you ask really nicely, heโ€™ll join you in bed and hold you.

He likes to talk, so get ready to talk even if youโ€™re only half awake.

All jokes aside, he loves physical touch. That and acts of service are his love languages.

Childe is grateful for the times that you take care of him after a particularly rough day of work and fighting, and it shows in the way he holds you so close to him when the two of you rest together.

He likes to rest with you directly on top of him or with your head on his chest, while he has his arms wrapped around you to keep you close.

After all, he cherishes you like family, and the way he holds you reflects that perfectly.

Diluc with a Snezhnayan reader

Notes: I finally pulled Alhaitham and Xiao earlier this week. My boys have finally come home. Sorry for any mistakes, as half of this was written while I was barely functioning on three hours of sleep :โ€™) Anyways, enjoy!

Masterlist

There were few people from Snezhnaya that worked with the Adventurersโ€™ Guild, but you were one of them. You belonged to a well off family, and didnโ€™t have to deal with the pressures of most Snezhnayan people about finding a way to support the elders of your family. You were well experienced with the cold harsh climate of your homeland, and the treacherous work that came with living in such harsh conditions. However, you were blessed with an Anemo Vision, and with it, the ability to use the element to heal others. Even then, you always made sure to practice stitching and applying bandages, on the off chance your Vision didnโ€™t heal someone, and you had to resort to applying more basic methods of first aid. You were glad youโ€™d been practicing, because youโ€™d run into plenty of injured people on your travels. Your journey across Teyvat led you to Mondstadt, the City of Wind, wine, and most importantly, freedom.

You nodded as you showed the knight at the entrance to the city your papers for the Guild, and walked through the gates, before walking around and looking at the beautiful city. Youโ€™d heard many stories from your grandfather, who was also an adventurer, about the City of Wind, but youโ€™d never seen it for yourself up until now. Your wide eyes gazed around, before you saw a restaurant a little ways away from you. You were quite hungry after such a long journey, and figured that a bite to eat wouldnโ€™t hurt. โ€œOh, hello, welcome to Good Hunter. Would you like to order in or take your food to go?โ€ the lady at the counter asked. โ€œIโ€™ll order in, please.โ€ you voiced. She handed you a menu and told you to have a seat at one of the tables nearby. You ordered your food and then ate, paying for it before you headed over to the Adventurersโ€™ Guildโ€™s kiosk. You had a day full of commissions ahead of you.

The last commission of the day was at some place near Stone Gate, which you assumed was the Dawn Winery. Youโ€™d tried their Dandelion Wine, and liked it very much, but your favorite drink of theirs was their apple cider. There was no better cider in the whole of Teyvat other than the one from the Dawn Winery. You were supposed to be helping the maids clean, and did so rather quickly with the help of your Vision. You were about to leave after youโ€™d finished cleaning the last bit of dust from the carpet, but when you turned around, you ran straight into someoneโ€™s chest. You stepped back and looked up, finding a man with red hair and vermillion eyes. โ€œMy apologies, but, who are you? I donโ€™t recall having ever seen you here, let alone in Mondstadt before.โ€ his voice was deep, but the way he carried himself put you slightly at ease. โ€œOh, my name is (Y/N). Iโ€™m doing a commission for Adelinde, since, according to her, the dust is too deep in the carpet to get out using any normal means. And since I have an Anemo Vision, I figured Iโ€™d help out.โ€ you chimed, smiling up at him. โ€œReally? May I ask where youโ€™re from, Miss (Y/N)?โ€ he asked. โ€œAh, Iโ€™m from Snezhnaya. But may I ask what your name is?โ€ you asked. He gave you a hard look, as if he was sizing you up, before he spoke again. โ€œI am Diluc, the owner of the Dawn Winery. You donโ€™t seem to have a Delusion on you, which leads me to believe that, for now at least, you arenโ€™t part of the Fatui.โ€ he thought out loud. โ€œArchons, no, Iโ€™d never join them. My father told me that if I ever joined the Fatui, heโ€™d never talk to me again. He wanted me to make an honest living, no matter how we fare back home, which is why I started taking up commissions from the Adventurersโ€™ Guild in the first place.โ€ you explained. โ€œWhat about your mother?โ€ Diluc asked, looking at you. โ€œShe was in the Fatui, and she had a Delusion, but it backfired, and killed her. I was ten at the time, but I do still miss her very much.โ€ you became quiet, before shaking your head. โ€œBut thatโ€™s water under the bridge now, since itโ€™s been so long. I should be going, but you have a wonderful day, Diluc.โ€ you spoke, going to leave, but he gently caught your sleeve. โ€œItโ€™s only fair that I pay you since Iโ€™m the one who owns the winery.โ€ he voiced, motioning for you to follow him. He grabbed his mora pouch and gave you twenty thousand mora, before going to the kitchen. โ€œThink of this as a sort of welcoming gift for your arrival here in Mondstadt.โ€ Diluc said, grabbing a bottle of Dandelion Wine. โ€œActually, Iโ€™m not particularly fond of alcohol, but I have heard that the apple cider here is wonderful.โ€ you spoke. โ€œThank goodness Iโ€™m not the only one who dislikes alcohol, here.โ€ he grabbed the bottle of golden yellow apple cider and handed it to you. โ€œThank you, I appreciate this. Anyways, I should get going, may we meet again, Diluc.โ€ You called, walking out the door and back to the inn in the city.

Turns out, you did see him again, many times, in fact. The most recent occasion was when you were gravely injured during a commission, when a Mitachurl hit you with its shield. You were knocked unconscious from the impact against the ground, and Diluc watched you get thrown onto the path he was walking on. He saw the Mitachurl and glared over at it, manifesting his claymore and planning to kill it. However, he looked down at you, and put the sword away before picking you up. Youโ€™d slowly made a home for yourself in his heart, and he didnโ€™t want to admit that. He decided instead to silently watch over you from afar, protecting you from the shadows, but this situation had opened his eyes to the reality that you could be taken from him so easily if you let your guard down too much. He carried you back to the Dawn Winery, and set you down in his bed. He ran to find Adelinde next. โ€œAdelinde, please go get a healer immediately!โ€ He yelled, causing her to turn back to look at him. She was about to retort, but then saw the panicked look on his face, and your unconscious form in his arms, and nodded. She hurried off, leaving him to pace around downstairs. The moment Barbara got to the Winery, he all but dragged her over to where you were to heal your injuries. After she was done, she turned and spoke to Diluc. โ€œShe should be fine with a few days of rest, but her arm is broken, and I couldnโ€™t heal it. I know it will heal properly, but it will be at least two weeks before she can even begin to fight again. Sorry I couldnโ€™t do more.โ€ She apologized. He shook his head, thanking her for her assistance, before sending her out and closing the door. Diluc took off his coat and gloves, before sitting down in the chair at your bedside. He gently, almost timidly, took one of your hands into his, pressing his lips against the back of your palm. โ€œIโ€™m so sorry for not being there to protect you.โ€ He whispered, looking at you. He leaned back, letting your hand fall back to your side. You had his heart and didnโ€™t even know it, but plenty of others at the Dawn Winery did, it was quite obvious that the maids knew that his mood was better whenever you were around. Adelinde had become much softer and more welcoming with you than she was with other guests. She would talk with you for hours if you werenโ€™t busy. She herself was curious about the woman that Diluc had fallen in love with. However, this occasion proved that he genuinely had feelings for you, and Adelinde was more than willing to steer him toward you if she needed to do so.

You woke up slowly, blinking the sleep from your eyes and rubbing them with your uninjured hand. You looked at the cast on your left arm and sighed, before hearing the door open and close when Diluc walked in. Your gaze snapped over to him, your eyes meeting his as he gazed at you. He sprinted toward you and all but tackled you to the bed. โ€œThank goodness youโ€™re awake.โ€ He whispered, hugging you tightly. You were taken aback, but reciprocated nevertheless. โ€œHow long was I out?โ€ You asked when he pulled away. He rested his forehead against yours, a deep sigh escaping his lips. โ€œYouโ€™ve been out for two days, I found you on the side of the road. I was so worried that youโ€™d been killed.โ€ He iterated. You saw the genuine worry in his gaze and the tears welling up in his eyes, and reached up to gently wipe away his tears. โ€œDiluc, Iโ€™m not going anywhere, I promise.โ€ You looked around. โ€œWhere are we?โ€ You asked after a minute or two. โ€œYouโ€™re in my room. Itโ€™s the closest one to the door, sorry.โ€ He apologized, causing you to wave your hands frantically as you tried to tell him that it was fine, wincing as you did so. He gave you a worried look. โ€œDo you need anything? Are you in any pain? Are you still tired?โ€ He bombarded you with questions, talking a mile a minute as he anxiously checked you over for any injuries. โ€œDiluc, Iโ€™m fine.โ€ You replied, looking down at your arms, one of which was in a cast. โ€œThatโ€™s gonna leave a mark.โ€ You mumbled, cursing under your breath. โ€œBarbara told me that itโ€™ll be at least two weeks until you can start fighting again.โ€ He glared at you for a moment, before seeing the regretful look you had in your eyes.

You rested your head in your uninjured hand, sighing deeply. โ€œAnd donโ€™t even think about trying to take any commissions from the Adventurersโ€™ Guild until Barbara or someone else makes sure that youโ€™ve fully healed.โ€ He continued. โ€œWhat are you, my mother?โ€ You huffed, your voice heavily laced with sarcasm and annoyance. โ€œIโ€™m serious. You need to stop being so reckless and start watching out for yourself.โ€ He scolded, giving you a reproachful look whilst he spoke. You scowled over at him. โ€œDiluc, Iโ€™m not a child, I can take care of myself! Why do you even care about what happens to me, anyway?!โ€ You yelled. โ€œBecause I love you! Iโ€™m worried about you because youโ€™re so reckless! Iโ€™m terrified that Iโ€™m going to lose the only good thing Iโ€™ve had in so long! You worry me constantly, and you donโ€™t even know it!โ€ He shot back, before realizing what he said. He covered his mouth, willing the words to be taken back as he cast his gaze to the floor. He didnโ€™t want to tell you like this, not ever like this. He was so scared that he had just pushed you away. Reluctantly, Diluc looked back up at you from the floor, panic swimming in his crimson gaze as he looked at you. Your eyes were wide and your face was bright red as you all but stared at him. โ€œYouโ€ฆ what?โ€ You asked, watching him carefully to see what he would do next. He took a deep breath as his gaze softened into something you couldnโ€™t quite read, sitting down in the chair heโ€™d placed next to the bed. โ€œI love you. I have for a while, but I couldnโ€™t bring myself to tell you. I was so worried that youโ€™d reject me and that whatever we had would be gone. I was scared that youโ€™d ignore me.โ€ He explained. You could tell that he was nervous easily. Diluc buried his face in his hands to hide the red that decorated his cheeks. You reached out and gently grasped one of his hands in your own, bringing it close to you and gently placing it against your cheek as you spoke. โ€œYou should have told me sooner. I didnโ€™t know you liked me back.โ€ You muttered softly, grabbing his wrist and pulling him close to you. You wrapped your arms around him and hugged him tightly, resting your head against his shoulder. Diluc stiffened slightly, before trying to pull away. โ€œWait, your arm-โ€ โ€œMy arm is fine, Diluc.โ€ You interrupted him, continuing to hug him. โ€œI love you, too.โ€ You said finally, pulling away and resting your forehead against his. You felt him pull away and pouted slightly, before your eyes widened when you felt his lips against yours. His kiss was gentle and his lips were soft, a stark comparison to his usual self. He reached behind you and wrapped his arms around your waist, pulling you closer as he continued kissing you. After a few minutes, he pulled away from you and looked at you, sighing in relief as you smiled sweetly up at him. โ€œDo you have any clue how long Iโ€™ve been wanting to tell you that?โ€ He asked, watching as you giggled softly. โ€œSorry, itโ€™s just so odd for you to lose your cool like this, itโ€™s cute.โ€ You mused, reaching up and cupping his face in your hands. Diluc felt his face heat up as you held him there gently, before putting his hands over yours and gently grasping them. He brought one of them to his lips and kissed the back of your palm as his eyes locked with yours. His gaze was soft and filled with gentle adoration for you. โ€œI never thought I would fall for someone like you, but here we are, and never shall I regret it.โ€ He mumbled, pulling you close yet again. You were going to have to work on touch with him, since he seemed to love it so much, but for now, you both held each other there, basking in one anotherโ€™s presence.

Good Morning (Diluc x reader)

Notes: You guys get soft content today because Iโ€™m feeling sappy. Kinda short but anyways, enjoy!

Masterlist

Warnings: Slightly suggestive.

Diluc wasnโ€™t what others would call a soft individual. In fact, the word โ€œsoftโ€ and the name โ€œDilucโ€ were two things that clashed quite often.

But not when it came to you.

You were the only one he was like this around. His gentle words and hushed confessions of adoration and love were reserved for your ears only. It was in moments like these that you truly saw how gentle he could be.

You woke up slowly, blinking away the last remnants of sleep as you lazily gazed over and smiled softly when you saw your husband. His red hair was down and covered most of his face, and he looked peaceful in the clutches of sleep. You scooted over to him and laid back down beside him, gently brushing his hair out of his face to get a better look at him. He had dark eye bags that worried you to no end, but heโ€™d never sleep enough to get rid of them if he kept going like this. You were about to pull away when he spoke. โ€œItโ€™s rude to stare, (Y/N).โ€ Diluc said, opening one of his eyes to look at you. You were about to apologize when he gently wrapped an arm around you and pulled you close, holding you in his arms as he spoke. โ€œGood morning, did you sleep well?โ€ You asked him, your voice barely above a whisper when you spoke. He nodded before leaning down and pressing his lips against yours, kissing you slowly before pulling away with a smile. โ€œI donโ€™t have anything to do today, and Elzer is handling most of the things I would have to do, so do you mind if I spend the day with you?โ€ He asked. โ€œI donโ€™t mind, Iโ€™d love to have your company.โ€ You replied, cupping his face in your hands and running your thumbs over his cheeks. Diluc put one of his hands over yours and leaned into your touch, smiling just a little more when you giggled at the sight. โ€œAlright, come on. We need to get up, dearest.โ€ You said. The word falling from your lips so naturally, even now, still caught him off guard, and you watched as his face reddened slightly. He turned his face to the side to hide his red cheeks, causing you to giggle quietly as you pressed your lips against his forehead. โ€œWe donโ€™t really have to do anything today if you donโ€™t want to. In fact, we donโ€™t even have to leave this bed if you donโ€™t want to.โ€ You mused, tracing nonsense shapes on his chest. Diluc buried his red face in the crook of your neck as he held you close, causing you to laugh softly. โ€œBe careful what you ask for, you might just get it.โ€ He grumbled, watching with a playful smile on his face as you pulled away. โ€œCome on, you dork, get up. We still have to do commissions.โ€ You laughed, throwing the covers off of the two of you and getting up to get dressed. Diluc gazed over at you as you buttoned up your shirt and grabbed your pants from the dresser. โ€œWhat are you staring at? Come on and get dressed.โ€ You asked. He grabbed his shirt and vest, buttoning them up and dressing quickly before gently grabbing your hand as you got to the door. โ€œI was staring at you. You look wonderful today, my love.โ€ He said, lifting your hand to his lips and kissing your knuckles gently. You could feel your face heating up as your cheeks turned red. You cleared your throat and then looked back at him. โ€œWell then, shall we go, dear husband?โ€ You asked, walking downstairs with him. Diluc nodded softly, turning the door handle and opening it, holding it for you as you walked out. โ€œYes, we shall, dearest.โ€ He replied, closing the door behind him.

Hello hello! I just read โ€œDiluc with a Snezhnayan readerโ€ and my I LOVE IT!! THE WRITING IS GORGEOUS HBHNFDNKKMNFDVJ-

Ehm-โ€ฆSo I was thinking about what if the reader was a Fatui harbinger? And one of the strongest (any rank will be fine) but honestly doesnโ€™t care about their role/rank, only want to roam around freely but have enough strength to protect them and the ones they love.

Itโ€™s just a thought lol,

Have a good rest of your day/evening/night! Bye bye!

Anon, this idea is wonderful and thank you, Iโ€™m glad you liked that one since itโ€™s one of the ones I had the most fun writing! Short headcanons and a small oneshot because I didnโ€™t really know what to write for this but I do hope they do this lovely idea justice! Sorry itโ€™s so short and this is a bit ooc but I hope you enjoy!

Warnings: Cursing

Diluc wouldnโ€™t suspect you at first tbh because he trusts you too much.

However, when the Fatui started avoiding him a little tooย well, he knew something was up, but he didnโ€™t know where or who they were getting info about how to avoid him.

Well, he didnโ€™t until he found you in full uniform ordering the recruits around.

He was pissedย to say the least.

it takes a lot of convincing to get him to not try to kill you on the spot.

โ€œSo this is why Iโ€™ve been having more trouble getting rid of you lowly vermin as of late.โ€

The moment you turn around, you know already whatโ€™s about to happen.

โ€œIs this why you decided to confess to me? Is it because you wanted to use me for information on what I knew?โ€ It took a tremendous amount of self control on your part not to ditch the facade you had up in front of your subordinates. This wasnโ€™t how you were going to tell him. You were going to tell him when he was calm and rational enough to understand that you werenโ€™t going to rat him out to the Fatui.

โ€œAh, so the Dawn Knight finally shows his true colors. Good evening, Master Diluc.โ€ you said, as you motioned for the soldiers present to leave.ย โ€œAll of you, leave us, I shall take care of this.โ€ you ordered, watching as everyone left the two of you alone. The silence between you was intense, but you were the first to step forward to get closer to him. However, Diluc took a step backwards, looking at you as he reached for his claymore.ย

โ€œWhat else have you lied to me about? Did you lie when you told me that you cared about me? That you loved me and promised never to abandon me? Did you ever even remotely mean it when you said that you wanted to spend the rest of your life with me?โ€ He asked, backing up until his back hit a tree.ย โ€œDiluc...โ€ you started, but he refused to let you get a word in.ย โ€œTell me!โ€ he yelled, but you knew it wasnโ€™t just anger that filled his gaze. You were used to seeing fear, no matter how much rage people tried to mask it with. As the Eighth Harbinger, you were used to seeing the expression on your subordinatesโ€™ faces. However, you hated seeing it on him. You finally got close enough to him to where you were able to reach out and gently lower his hand. He had tears beading in the corners of his eyes, but he refused to let them fall, not for you, or him, or anyone.ย โ€œWill you let me speak now, or am I going to have to tie you to this tree and force you to listen to me?โ€ you asked, reaching out with your other hand and gently cupping his face.ย โ€œSpeak about what? About your lies and deceit? About how you took my feelings for you and crushed them? I trusted you, I let you see so many things Iโ€™d never let anyone else see, and you return that with betrayal. Why should I listen to you?โ€ he asked, smacking your hand away from his face.ย โ€œBecause I never told anyone anything about you. Hell, the rest of the Fatui donโ€™t even know that Iโ€™m dating you because I know theyโ€™d do something to you. I knew you wouldnโ€™t be pleased to know that Iโ€™m a Harbinger, but it was the only way to escape that damned cold hell I had to call my home for the past two decades because there was no other way out. Diluc, I would never betray the trust youโ€™ve placed in me. I care about you far too much to do that to you. I even promised you that I would never reveal your identity to the Fatui or the Knights of Favonius. I even helped you think of a counter strategy against the Fatui just so that you wouldnโ€™t get killed in that domain when you attacked them. Iโ€™ve hated my job as a Harbinger for so long, and all Iโ€™ve ever wished for was a chance to tell you that I was one of them, because I trustย you.โ€ You explained, reaching up yet again and gently wiping his tears away.ย โ€œIโ€™m so sick and tired of losing people I care about. First, my mother, then my father, then my brother. I canโ€™t lose you, too, (Y/N), I just canโ€™t take it.โ€ He whispered, letting his tears fall as you held him there.ย โ€œI know, and Iโ€™m not going anywhere, Diluc, I promise. I never break promises, you know that.โ€ you reassured him.ย โ€œYou better mean that, Iโ€™m sick of the lies.โ€ he muttered, hating how you managed to soothe him so easily. You were the one thing that made him feel weak and vulnerable, and he hated and loved it at the same time. He hated that you were with the Fatui, but he loved how you treated him, and how you treated those around you. You had been with him for far too long to leave him now, and he was going to hold you to the promise you made him last month.ย โ€œYou promised that youโ€™d eventually leave your line of work to stay with me. Will you stay true to that?โ€ he asked, watching as you nodded softly.ย โ€œThe whole reason I joined was to keep promises to those I loved and to be strong and rich enough to do so. Iโ€™m not going to break that promise, Diluc, I swear on my life that Iโ€™m not.โ€ you replied, craning your neck and gently pressing your lips against his.ย โ€œBut you have to be patient with me, I will need time to convince the Tsaritsa to let me leave the Fatui.โ€ you explained, watching as he nodded.ย โ€œI trust you now, but you better be telling me the truth. No more secrets between the two of us, I mean it.โ€ he said, his gaze trained on you.ย โ€œNo more secrets.โ€ you promised, gently taking his hands into yours and sighing softly, giving them a gentle squeeze before you let them fall back to his sides.ย โ€œThen we shall part ways here for now, I suspect that your soldiers are wondering whatโ€™s going on with you.โ€ he advised, causing you to nod.ย โ€œUntil next time, Diluc.โ€ you said, causing him to nod softly.ย โ€œUntil next time, (Y/N).โ€ he replied, turning on his heel and walking off. You smiled for a few more moments until he disappeared into the forest to get back to the Dawn Winery. You then frowned and looked behind you.ย โ€œI would hope that that was enough to convince you to not kill him, Regrator, because I will terminate you if I have to in order to keep him alive.โ€ you said, looking back at the raven haired man behind you.ย โ€œHm, a shame, I expected you to be much weaker than this. However, I shall honor our agreement of confidentiality and not tell a soul. Now then, may I ask what your plans are to convince Her Majesty to let you leave our organization for good?โ€ Pantalone inquired.ย โ€œAbsolutely not, that would be telling you more than you ought to know, but I have a few ideas, and Iโ€™m open to suggestions.โ€ you replied, chatting with him as the two of you walked back to your camp that had been set up on Dragonspine.

Memories (Diluc x reader NSFW)

No thoughts only Diluc with his lover and how they met each other. Enjoy~

Masterlist

Warnings: NSFW, unprotected sex, missionary (sex position), slight spoilers for the Ballads and Brews event and for Diluc's backstory utc.

NSFW Content below, by scrolling further past this point, you have chosen to read the content below to your own accord.

Notes: Iโ€™m more than likely going to make a series out of this for all of the men. Iโ€™ll probably make a poll to see who I should write the next one of these for.

Summary: Diluc despises talking or thinking about the Knights of Favonius and anyone who associates with them. However, that completely excludes you, his lover and Varkaโ€™s only child. In all fairness, your history with him runs deep, all the way back to when he first started out as Cavalry Captain of the Knights of Favonius.

The first time that Diluc can recall hearing your voice and seeing your face was when Varka introduced the two of you at the party that the Knights of Favonius hosted to celebrate his becoming Cavalry Captain. His father was there with him, a hand on his shoulder as he spoke to him. That was when you walked up, holding a glass of a drink he canโ€™t recall now, but one you liked at the time.

โ€œCongratulations on becoming Cavalry Captain. Itโ€™s very difficult for even the senior knights to impress the Grandmaster.โ€ You said, taking a sip of the drink. โ€œOh, thank you.โ€ He said, causing you to hum softly. โ€œIโ€™m sorry, I donโ€™t recall ever meeting you. Do we know each other?โ€ He asked. You shook your head, smiling softly. You were about to say something when Varka walked up, clapping him on the back. โ€œDiluc, there you are, my boy. Ah, and I see that youโ€™ve met (Y/N) as well.โ€ He said, ruffling his hair and yours. โ€œIs that your name?โ€ He asked, causing you to nod. โ€œIโ€™m their father.โ€ Varka explained, a big grin on his face as he spoke. โ€œSorry, I was about to say that.โ€ You said, hiding your face in your hands. โ€œThereโ€™s no need to be embarrassed, my father is the same way.โ€ He said, patting your shoulder. The two of you talked until the late evening, when Diluc had to return home for the night.

The next memory Diluc remembered clearly was when the two of you were fifteen, and you were in the middle of a commission, dealing with a group of Hilichurls. One of them tried to throw a pyro slime at you, but Diluc jumped in front of you and hit it with his claymore. You turned back and looked at him after dealing with the other Hilichurls, smiling. โ€œThanks, that might have been bad if it had hit me.โ€ You said, checking off the commission on the list you had. โ€œAlright, one more, and itโ€™s inโ€ฆโ€ you groaned. โ€œItโ€™s in Dragonspine, lovely.โ€ You sighed deeply, before feeling a hand on your upper back. โ€œLetโ€™s get going then.โ€ You heard Diluc say. โ€œWhat about you? Arenโ€™t you on patrol?โ€ You asked. He shook his head. โ€œI finished everything I needed to do today early, so I was headed back home for the day, but I donโ€™t mind. Besides, itโ€™s better to go with someone in case one of us needs to get help.โ€ He said, causing you to nod in agreement. โ€œAlright, Iโ€™m convinced, come on then.โ€ You said, grabbing his hand and leading him toward the towering mountain.

Youโ€™d gotten to the foot of the mountain with him when it got much colder, causing you to shiver. โ€œAre you cold?โ€ He asked, causing you to nod. โ€œEven though I have a jacket on, itโ€™s still pretty cold.โ€ You said, before feeling a sudden warmth wrapped around your shoulders as Diluc guided your arms through the sleeves of his jacket. โ€œWait,โ€ you said, stopping him, โ€œwonโ€™t you be cold, though?โ€ You asked, worried. โ€œI have a Pyro Vision, so my body temperature usually runs warmer than most other people.โ€ He explained, buttoning up the jacket to where you would still be able to move. โ€œCome on, it should be up ahead.โ€ He said. The commission was a simple time trial, and you got your gliders ready and stepped on the pressure plate, triggering the timer to start. You both ran as fast as you could toward the slimes on the way, cutting them down swiftly together. By the time you both got to the bottom of the mountain, you were exhausted, panting softly. โ€œSorry, Iโ€™m a bit out of breath.โ€ You said. โ€œYou should get back, itโ€™s getting a bit late.โ€ He said, helping you down the mountain. It was only after he left that you realized that you still had his jacket on. Your father noticed, but he decided against saying anything to spare you the embarrassment.

The next day, you walked to the Dawn Winery to give him back his coat, now smelling of you. Crepus was the one who answered the door, and he invited you in for some tea and something to eat, since it was lunch. You accepted, hanging the coat on the coat rack and taking a seat at the table in the dining room. A few minutes later, Crepus brought out the teapot and poured you a cup of tea, setting it in front of you along with a few various sweets on a plate as well. โ€œTheyโ€™re from Good Hunter, in case you were curious. Apparently, they have a dessert menu.โ€ He said, taking a sip from his own cup as you put a cube of sugar in your tea and stirred it to mix it. โ€œSo, if I may ask, why did you have Dilucโ€™s jacket with you?โ€ He asked, a smug grin on his face as he spoke. โ€œItโ€™s not like how youโ€™re thinking. We went to Dragonspine yesterday, and we got done with the commission pretty late in the evening. It was cold, so he gave me his jacket.โ€ You explained, trying to hide the red that dusted your cheeks as you took a sudden interest in the teacup in front of you. โ€œYou know, you may think youโ€™re good at it, but youโ€™re horrifically bad at hiding your feelings about people.โ€ He said, taking another sip. โ€œGee, thanks.โ€ You said sarcastically. He laughed. โ€œDonโ€™t be embarrassed, itโ€™s perfectly normal to be like this when you catch feelings for someone, take it from someone with experience in that matter.โ€ He said, ruffling your hair and setting down his tea cup. He walked off and went to his office, inviting you to stay for dinner at the winery. You decided to take him up on the offer, and sat in the living area of the winery while waiting for the sun to set. You were drawing in your sketchbook when the front door to the winery opened, revealing Diluc and Kaeya.

Kaeya hung his jacket next to Dilucโ€™s, noticing that it was there almost immediately. โ€œKeep it with you next time, you might just need it.โ€ He said, handing it to Diluc. He noticed you in one of the chairs at the dining table the moment he walked into the dining room. โ€œOh, (Y/N), what are you doing here?โ€ He asked. โ€œI came here to return your jacket, and your father invited me to stay for dinner.โ€ You explained, fiddling with your shirt sleeve. He nodded, taking a seat across from you. The room was awkwardly silent, and you didn't know what to talk about. Diluc coughed. "So, Weinlesefest is next week, are you also helping to set up for it?" he asked. You were thankful for the opening, and nodded. "Yeah, I help set it up and take it down every year." you said, noticing how the awkward tension still lingered. Diluc tensed up slightly, looking to the side, before remembering something. "Oh, yeah, thanks for returning my coat. I forgot that I gave it to you, and assumed that I just lost it." he said, causing you to nod. You were thankful for the fact that Kaeya came back down the stairs and sat next to Diluc, alleviating some of the tension. "Wow, who died in here? Why are the two of you so tense?" he asked, smiling over at you. "Oh, it's just been a long day and I can't really think of anything to talk about." you said, hiding your face in your hands. Crepus joined the three of you shortly after, sitting beside you. "So, how have you been? It's been a while since I last saw you." he asked, looking over at you. "I've been well, although the preparations on the Knights' part have been unfortunately delayed because of the fact that my father is sick." you said. "Really? I saw him at work today." Diluc said. You looked over at him with wide eyes as your face paled. "Are you ok?" he asked. "He fainted yesterday and he was burning up, there's no way he was at work today." you said. "I can ask if he's alright when I see him for night patrol if you want." he offered. "It's fine, I'm going back after this, anyway, I'll tell him to get some rest when I see him then." you said, pinching the bridge of your nose. "You know he works so hard because he wants to make sure he can keep Mondstadt safe, right?" Crepus asked, causing you to nod. "Yeah, I know. I just wish he'd take care of himself and not go into work while he's sick." you said. "Try telling that to this one." Kaeya said, pointing a thumb at Diluc. You looked over at him. "Ok, that was one time, and I didn't even know if I was sick or if it was just really hot that day." he said. "Yeah, sure, anyways, he had a high fever and he felt light headed for the rest of the week because of that, by the way." Kaeya continued. You were about to say something when Adelinde set the food on the table, nodding before leaving the room once again. The four of you ate in relative silence, with a few words being exchanged between the four of you. You got up and started to take the plate to the kitchen when Crepus asked what you were doing. "Taking my dish to the kitchen to clean it." you said, grabbing your cup and taking it with you. You washed and dried the plate and the cup, setting them beside the sink. You turned around and saw Adelinde, who was staring at you. "What is it? Also do you know where the plates and cups go?" you asked. "Nothing and here, I'll take them." she said, picking them up and putting them away, before looking back at you. "Yeah, you're a good one." she said, smiling softly. "What do you mean by that?" you asked. She shook her head. "You'll just have to find out, won't you?" she said, ushering you back to the table. You sat back down and nodded curtly, suddenly becoming interested in the table. "Well now, Adelinde, thank you, it was wonderful as always, and thanks for getting the dishes." Crepus said, causing her to nod. "Of course." she said, stacking the plates and cups. "Heading out already then?" he asked Diluc, who was buttoning up his jacket. "Yes, I'm walking them back now. I might as well, since my shift starts in about an hour." he said, opening the door.

You both left and walked in relative silence, admiring the scenery of the winery around you. You were confused by Adelinde's words to you earlier in the kitchen, but brushed it off and sighed. You heard noises in the bushes, and instinctively grabbed onto Diluc's arm. He went tense almost immediately, looking down at you as his face heated up. He was never more thankful for the cover of night than he was now. "Did you hear something?" he asked, drawing your attention back to him. You noticed that you were still clinging onto his arm, and immediately let go of him, apologizing. "Sorry, I thought someone was watching us, and when I heard something in the bushes, I just kinda acted on instinct." you mumbled, causing him to chuckle softly. "It's fine, I know you didn't mean to." he said, putting a hand on your shoulder. You sighed, continuing to walk with him until you got to the city gates. The moment you saw Varka, you stormed over to him. "Oh boy, here we go." Diluc muttered under his breath. "Sir Diluc, is everything alright?" Swan asked, looking at him. "Yeah, everything's fine, I'm just watching (Y/N) yell at Grandmaster Varka for not calling out sick today." he said, watching concernedly as you did so. He felt a sort of pang in his chest, and suddenly wished that you would worry about him like that. He shook his head, walking up and telling you goodbye for the evening as he went to get ready for his shift. "And you should- oh, goodnight, Diluc, be safe out there." you said, before going back to speaking to your father. Varka's gaze followed him as he left, before returning to you. "What is it?" you asked, slightly annoyed that he wasn't fully listening to you. "Did Diluc walk you back here?" he asked, his expression one of surprise, before morphing into a smirk. "It's not like that." you said. "And yet something in your tone says that you wish it was." he said, causing your face to redden. "Please stop." you mumbled. "Come on, tell me, what did it for you? Is it the way he treats you? Is it his looks? He is the best bachelor in Mondstadt, you know." he said, elbowing you lightly. Meanwhile, your face kept getting redder and redder. "Stop it." you said, hiding your face in your hands yet again. "Alright, I'll stop, but you should tell him. Like I said, there are plenty who want his hand in marriage, you don't want to lose your chance to tell him because you're nervous." he said, smiling as you nodded. "Wait, I'm not done telling you off. Go home, there's no way you aren't still sick." you scolded, watching as he shrugged his shoulders and nodded, leaving to go home. You, meanwhile, had some emotions and thoughts to sort out with a certain someone the next time you saw him.

When Diluc got home that evening, his father was in his office when he saw him. "Hey, (Y/N) left their sketchbook here. Can you take it back to them tomorrow?" he asked, causing him to nod. "Yeah, I will." he said, his face reddening at the mention of your name. He took the sketchbook and stood there, holding it in his hand and looking at his father. "Is something wrong?" Crepus asked, looking up at him. Diluc shook his head, frowning, before he spoke. "Actually, can I ask you something?" he asked, closing the office door behind him. "Sure, go ahead." he replied, continuing to sign documents. "When you said that you fell first for mother, did you know when it happened? Could you tell that you were in love with her?" Diluc asked, looking at him. Crepus' hand stilled on the paper, and his eyes shot up to look at Diluc. He slowly cleaned his pen and put it away, his owlish gaze locked on him. "You like (Y/N), don't you?" he asked, looking at him. "Yeah, I just didn't really know until now." he confessed, his face flushing at the thought of telling you how he felt. "Have you told them?" Crepus asked. Diluc shook his head vigorously. "I don't know how to tell them. Did you see how I was at dinner? I was an awkward mess. They probably think I'm an idiot." he said, looking at him. Crepus motioned for him to calm down. "Relax, it's ok to be nervous. Do you think I was any different when I told your mother I had feelings for her?" he asked, shaking his head and chuckling softly. He hummed, thinking, before looking back at him. "Well, Weinlesefest is coming up, so why don't you make them dinner? Starsnatch Cliff is a good place to go for a picnic, you know. And it's far away from the city in case things... escalate." he said, watching as Diluc glared at him. He laughed. "Come on, that was funny. Besides, that's where your mother and I went on our first date, and look, we have you and Kaeya now, even if she never got to see Kaeya, but we still had you, didn't we? So I'd say that that date went rather well if she was willing to put up with more dates with me and marriage on top of that." he said, his gaze falling to the ring on his finger that sat behind a diamond encrusted wedding band, the one that Crepus' wife had worn since the moment he put it on her finger, and until the day she died. "Your mother and I were happy together, I want you to feel the same way with whoever you choose to be with that I did with her." he said, looking up at Diluc. Tears stung at the corners of Diluc's eyes, and he nodded wordlessly. Crepus got up and ruffled his hair, before hugging him tightly. "Now then, we should prepare, since setting it all up is going to take some time, something we don't have much of, and you still have to help out with setting up for Weinlesefest with the Knights of Favonius on top of that." he said, causing Diluc to nod. With that, the two started planning what to do when the time came.

Diluc remembered the entirety of that year's Weinlesefest like it was yesterday. You carried a few boxes of supplies to Springvale, putting them down near where the Knights of Favonius were setting up their stall. You turned around and came face to face with Diluc, who was smiling at you. "Are you alright? You seem a bit out of breath." he commented. "Nothing I can't handle. I carry heavy stuff all the time during commissions, I've just been doing it for two and a half hours, and it's starting to take its toll." you said, laughing. Archons, he loved your laugh. The outfit you were wearing complimented your hair and your eyes perfectly, and his gaze couldn't help but linger on you for a minute before he spoke. "I was wondering if maybe, after this, you wanted to join me for dinner. I planned a picnic for me and Kaeya, since we don't really get to see each other that often other than when our shifts end, but he wanted to enjoy the festival, so I have enough food for the both of us." he said, smiling softly. You gave him a smile of your own. "Of course, I would love to." you replied, before going back to helping out with the tent for the stall.

He thought that the time to stop working for the day would never come, and worked rather slowly, but everything was finished by the time the sun had barely started to set. He walked over to you while you were conversing with Varka, clearing his throat. "Hey, are you ready?" he asked, holding out a hand to you. Varka stared over at him, confused, and then looked at you. "He invited me to a picnic at Starsnatch Cliff." you explained quickly, before taking his hand and letting him lead the way.

The sun was just meeting the horizon when the two of you arrived at Starsnatch Cliff, overlooking the Archipelago and the sea. "It's beautiful at this part of the cliffs, I swear it gets prettier every time I see it." you said, gazing out at the ocean. You thought that Diluc was looking at the ocean with you, but when you turned to look at him, you saw a bouquet of Cecilias in his hands. He handed them to you as he spoke. "In all honesty, I was somewhat untruthful when I told you the reason I had enough food for both of us. Kaeya never actually knew I was planning a picnic, I was just looking for an excuse to speak to you alone." he said, his face flushing slightly. "Diluc..." Could this really be happening right now? He wasn't confessing to you, there was no way he was, right? He set the plates down on the blanket and gave you your share of the food. "Why did you want to speak to me alone? We could have talked down there." you said, but he shook his head. "No, we couldn't have. Your father would have interrupted, or mine would've. I wanted this to be special, even if your answer isn't what I hope it is." Diluc took off his gloves and held your hands gently in his own. "I- Archons, where do I even begin?" He smiled softly, sighing. "I don't know how, but I've fallen hopelessly, completely in love with you." he said, kissing your knuckles gently. "I don't really know how to put it into words, but I do know that you're the only one who makes me feel so weightless and happy like this just by being around me. I understand if you don't feel the same, and I will not force you to say that you do, but I wanted you to know how I felt." he said, letting your hands fall back onto your lap. When he looked up at you, he saw that your face was completely red, but you didn't hide it in your hands like you usually did. Instead, you grabbed his hands and interlaced your fingers with his. You got closer to him and pressed your forehead against his, cupping his face in your free hand. "You moron, why didn't you tell me sooner?" you asked, giggling softly. "I only recently realized what exactly it was that I was feeling, to be honest." he replied, wrapping you up in his arms, the food having been long forgotten and cold beside the two of you as he held you in his arms. Your eyes caught the last few rays of sunlight as they faded over the horizon, giving them an enchanting glow of sorts as you spoke.

"Kiss me, Diluc Ragnvindr." you whispered, looking up at him as his eyes went wide. He didn't waste a second, and slowly pressed his lips against yours. Your eyes slipped closed, his doing the same, and you gently held his face in your hands. "And to answer your confession, in case it wasn't clear by now, I love you too, Diluc." you said, leaning in and kissing him again. Needless to say, your and Diluc's absence from the festivities was to be expected, and it wasn't very surprising when Diluc came back at the ungodly hour of midnight and had you with him, asking Crepus if you could stay in the guest room. "Fine, but they stay in that guest room until the sun rises or Kaeya's awake, got it?" he asked, causing your face to redden. "I was going to, but may I ask why you're saying this?" you asked. "You two spent a while up at Starsnatch Cliff." he said, smirking. "Oh, very funny, we didn't do anything like that." you said, crossing your arms. "Just making sure." he said, holding his arms up. You did not, in fact, stay in that guest room, and when Crepus checked early the next morning, he sighed, smiling when he saw you asleep in Diluc's arms. He decided to let the two of you sleep for a little longer, since Diluc didn't have work today, anyway.

Another memory Diluc loved recalling was a few years later, he was just shy of turning eighteen, when he proposed to you. He proposed to you at Starsnatch Cliff, the location of your first date with him and where he had confessed to you years ago. He knew the two of you were still very young then, but he loved you, and you loved him dearly. Of course, Varka had his own qualms about you marrying Diluc, but Crepus eased his worries when he spoke about how you would be welcome to choose to stay in the city or at Dawn Winery, and would still be accepted with open arms in either place, which made him feel better. He agreed on the condition that Diluc promised to protect you, a condition he agreed to immediately. The ceremony was short, but the party at the Angel's Share was quite a long one, filled with drinking and congratulations to Diluc from plenty of his friends and his family. You had agreed to move into the Dawn Winery, something that your father couldn't exactly fault you for, but this time, Adelinde welcomed you to help her with dinner and with cleanup, making your transition to living there smooth. Diluc felt as though things couldn't be any better than they were now.

The next memory Diluc remembered, and the clearest one of them all, was the day Crepus died. You were the first to arrive, having ditched a commission the second one of the Knights told you the news. He remembered you holding him in your arms like he'd break, crying with him as he hid his face in your neck. He remembered you taking his side when Eroch tried to get him to cover up the matter, your rage almost matching his. You refused to help or let any of the other Knights cover up the truth behind Crepus' death. In fact, you told everyone who asked you what actually happened, and although they were confused, the news of Crepus' death and what he did to Ursa the Drake caused quite a bit of unrest and contempt toward the Knights of Favonius, namely, of course, Eroch, for trying to cover the matter up.

It got worse from there, of course it did. Kaeya came to Diluc that evening and told him the truth behind his being in Mondstadt in the first place, and where he was from. You tried to hold him back from hurting him, but Diluc threw you to the ground, and in a moment of desperation to stop Diluc from making an irreversible mistake, a large wave cut between them and knocked them both off of their feet, and they turned to look at you, who now held a glowing Hydro Vision in your hand. "I said cut it out!" you yelled, blocking Diluc's next attack with your sword. You were crying now. You didn't want this, you didn't want things to be like this. You didn't want that unrivaled hatred in his gaze to be directed at you. Without knowing what else to do, you collapsed into a sobbing heap on the muddy ground. Kaeya ran off, leaving you alone with him. Realizing that he almost hurt you, he immediately fell to his knees and wrapped you up in his arms, tears of his own streaking down his face. "I'm so sorry, I didn't... I wasn't going to..." but he didn't know what to say. He could only hold you as you cried, and cried, and cried in his arms.

The next thing he remembered was leaving you to go look for people with answers to where the weapon he used came from. You were begging him not to go, not to leave you, but he'd already made up his mind. Just as he was getting ready to walk out the door, you spun him around, grabbing him by the collar and slamming your lips against his, pouring your emotions into kissing him. You pulled away and sighed, tears welling up in your eyes as you spoke. "Please come back to me. I can't handle losing anyone else, please." you begged, before letting go of his jacket and watching him disappear past Stone Gate. You remember crying until you passed out that night. That, and you remembered the crushing feeling of loneliness that filled your chest and pressed against your lungs, making it hard to breathe sometimes whenever your heart felt particularly heavy at the thought that you may never see him again.

He came back, three long years later, but he wasn't the same as when he left. His body was now littered with scars that traveled up and down his body, but not a single one was on his face, he made sure of that. Eroch had been caught as the mole in the Knights of Favonius, and he had been punished accordingly by Jean. Varka had left on an expedition to Snezhnaya with Seneschal Seamus of the Mondstadt Cathedral and a majority of the Cavalry, too. Kaeya had taken over as Cavalry Captain, despite there being no Cavalry to, you know, captain, but he did make short work of doing the paperwork that came with the position. He held no animosity toward you, and spoke to you the same way he had before. It was Diluc who had changed, and you were worried that he didn't love you anymore. However, he proved it to you the night he returned, he proved that his heart, guarded as it was, belonged to you only.

The next thing Diluc remembered was that night, when you begged him to give you all of him. You didn't hate his flaws, or despise the way he didn't smile or talk as much anymore around everyone else like he used to. No, you loved and embraced him as he was, pulling him closer as your need for him became clear. "Please, it's been so long since I saw you last. Please, prove that it's really you, I'm so tired of my mind playing tricks on me." you whispered, tears rolling down your cheeks as you spoke. You covered your eyes with your forearm, before feeling him pull it away from your face as he kissed you, gently wiping away your tears. "Please," you kept whispering, breathless as he kissed you over, and over, and over again. His lips trailed down to your neck as he gently tugged at the hem of your nightshirt, pulling it over your head and undressing himself. He put his jacket on the coat rack by the door, before unbuttoning his shirt and undoing his pants. He pulled off any clothing he still had on, pulling his unruly red hair out of its ponytail. Diluc then rejoined you under the covers, helping you undress completely. โ€œMay I?โ€ He asked, making sure you were comfortable with what he was doing. He didnโ€™t want to end up doing something you didnโ€™t like. You nodded, your face heating up at the gentle tone of his voice. His hands roamed your body, memorizing every curve and edge you had, before his hand dipped down between your legs. He used his fingers, thick and calloused, to stretch you and prepare you to take him. He didn't want to hurt you during your first time with him, after all. He went slow, dragging his tip over your hole before slowly sliding in, his grasp on your hip tightening to the point where you squirmed under his touch. However, you let yourself relax, and let him take over. At this point, you knew you weren't dreaming, only a real person could make you feel as good as he was making you feel that night. His hips jolted slightly against yours as he pushed himself deeper. You whined softly, rocking your hips against his as he bottomed out deep inside of you. โ€œTell me when I can move.โ€ He said, looking down at you. At this point, you just needed to be close to him. You pulled him down and kissed him, bucking your hips up against his desperately. You tangled your fingers in his unruly red hair, tugging at it as you moaned into the kiss. You held onto him tightly as he started to move, your nails scratching up and down his back, leaving little red lines in their wake. He didnโ€™t care, so long as you stayed just like this with him. He hit deep, his thrusts slow but hard as he looked down at you. He couldnโ€™t even begin to describe how much heโ€™d missed you, but that was nothing compared to how much you mustโ€™ve missed him. He pulled his hips back and snapped them against yours, watching as your eyes rolled back a little and you moaned loudly. He pressed his forehead against yours as his thrusts slowly gained rhythm, his hips pistoning against yours as he made you into a mess of moans and whimpers. โ€œAhhn~ feels sโ€™good, โ€˜Luc- Mng~ r-right there, please!โ€ You could only tighten your grip on him as he sped up, the knot in his lower abdomen getting tighter and tighter the faster he went. However, he refused to finish first, opting instead to make you feel good. โ€œAre you- Ngh~ are you close?โ€ He asked, gently threading his fingers with yours as you squeezed around him tightly, dragging a low groan from him. โ€œMhmm~ you feel sโ€™good, I can feel you in my tummy.โ€ You slurred, pushing your hips up against his. He twitched inside of you, feeling your tight walls spasm and clench as you got painfully close to your orgasm. โ€œAHh~ Diluc, mโ€™cumming, cumming- ahHng~!โ€ You wailed his name as you came, before feeling him press his hips up against yours as he came. His big warm hands held your thighs as his cum filled you up in thick spurts of white that made you feel so, so full. You clenched around him, milking him for all he was worth, until he finally stopped moving, and curled his body around yours.

He waited a few minutes before slowly pulling out, watching as his cum dribbled out of you. He could only look at you, picking you up and carrying you to the bathroom to clean you up. โ€œYou did so good for me, let me take care of you.โ€ He mumbled, running the water to the bath and getting in with you. He grabbed the soap and lathered it all over his hands, rubbing your sore body and massaging your shoulders. You sighed softly, leaning into his gentle touch as he washed you. He took the shampoo and slowly massaged it into your hair, moving on to do the same to his. He then gently washed it out of your hair and his, before grabbing the conditioner and doing the same. After he was done, Diluc started to get out, and told you to stay in the bath, but you grabbed his arm, your eyes trained on him as you spoke. โ€œDonโ€™t go.โ€ You pleaded, your grip tightening as your gaze grew frantic. You were so scared that he was going to disappear again, that youโ€™d never see him again, but he gently took your hands into his and pressed his forehead against yours. You leaned against him, before hearing him speak. โ€œIโ€™m just going to get some towels, I promise. Iโ€™ll come back as soon as I get some towels, ok?โ€ He asked, causing you to slowly let go of his hands as you nodded. He quickly went and got the towels as you curled up and wrapped your arms around your knees. When Diluc got back, you calmed down, and let him pick you up. He wrapped you in one of the soft towels and slowly dried you off, before setting you down in the recliner beside the bed. โ€œIโ€™m going to get some new sheets, Iโ€™ll be right back.โ€ He said, getting some new sheets after he tied his towel around his waist. He quickly grabbed a set of sheets and went back to the bedroom, quickly changing them. He then pulled back the covers and set you down under them, getting in the bed with you. โ€œAre you ok? Was I too rough?โ€ He asked, looking down at you. You shook your head. โ€œIt was wonderful, and donโ€™t worry about me, Iโ€™m ok.โ€ You mumbled, pressing yourself against him and wrapping your arms around his neck. You leaned in close to him and kissed him, feeling his arms around your waist as you pulled away. You were exhausted, and fell asleep soon after. Diluc held you close to him and fell asleep soon after, finally home in your arms.

The most recent memory he recalled was when you and him celebrated Weinlesefest together that fall. You and Adelinde had teamed up and made a ploy to get Kaeya to come over for dinner, since he needed to help Razor, anyway. You gladly invited them in, nodding to the Traveler as they explained the situation after Kaeya had had enough of teasing and taunting Diluc. โ€œWe have a barrel specially treated for durability, despite its age. Even a flaming flower couldn't leave a scratch on it if you left it right next to it all day.โ€ You said, looking over at Diluc. โ€œI'll go look for it, then.โ€ He said, disappearing down the hall to the storage room. You turned and looked at Kaeya, opening your arms wide. โ€œCome on, bring it in, itโ€™s been a while.โ€ You said, hugging him tightly. โ€œThat it certainly has. How have you been?โ€ He asked, watching as you smiled softly. โ€œIโ€™m just happy that heโ€™s here to stay, although I do wish heโ€™d make an effort to try and get along with you. He may not show it, but he does care about you, Kaeya.โ€ You said, turning to face him. โ€œWell, when he stops being such a stiff all the time, Iโ€™ll-โ€ โ€œYou also need to make an effort to forgive him for his brash actions that night. You know better than anyone how he gets when heโ€™s angry. Not even I know the full extent of that anger.โ€ You said, sighing deeply. โ€œI also wish heโ€™d spend a little more time with me over the holidays, but heโ€™s so busy all the time, and I donโ€™t have the heart to interrupt him when heโ€™s working.โ€ You said, crestfallen. โ€œIf you really care about him, youโ€™ll tell him to rest for a bit. At this rate, he might just work himself to death.โ€ He said, looking at you as your face paled. โ€œIโ€™d prefer it if he were alive and well, instead of meeting the same fate that father met.โ€ He said, watching as you nodded softly. โ€œIโ€™ll tell him then.โ€ You said. Diluc emerged from the wine cellar with a small barrel in his hands, setting it on the counter. "I did some digging, and found this one. Do you think that it's big enough for your friend?" he asked, looking at the Traveler. They nodded, taking the barrel. Diluc's eyes wandered to the clock, where he saw that it was almost seven in the evening. "Oh, it's almost dinnertime, would you care to stay for a meal?" he asked, looking at the Traveler and Paimon. "How time flies, I'll be on my way then." Kaeya said, waving and turning slightly to leave. You shook your head, pinching the bridge of your nose as you muttered a soft "coward" under your breath. Adelinde was the one to stop him. "How did you put it? Right, "taking a trip home is a custom during the festival season, celebrated by all cultures of Teyvat." Since even Master Diluc has risen an offer, are you quite sure you can't stay for dinner?" she asked. Kaeya glanced over at you, who simply smiled at him, nodding softly. However, he was a bit hesitant. "I couldn't possibly. I wouldn't want to trouble you, Adelinde." he said, scratching the back of his head. However, she persisted. "How often is it that I get to indulge you, Master Kaeya? Tea for the Cavalry Captain when you visit for business reasons doesn't count. I only get to spoil you if you let me cook for you." Adelinde said, a warm smile on her face. "Oh, uh..." Kaeya couldn't make a comeback, nor could he particularly disagree with her. She was right, it had been a while since he last visited. Diluc saw the opportunity to get back at him. "What happened to your swagger? Lost for words?" he asked, sarcasm lacing his voice. "Diluc, you..." he sighed. "Surely you wouldn't dream of disappointing Adelinde, would you?" he asked. "It would be fun with you here." the Traveler said. "Very well then, Adelinde, one more set of cutlery, please, if you'd be so kind." he said, causing her to nod.

The meal went smoothly, with you sitting next to Diluc and looking at Kaeya. He kept taunting and teasing Diluc, so you decided to intervene. You all but slammed your palms against the tabletop. "Traveler, have I told you about the time when Kaeya got stuck in the tree in Windrise?" you asked, causing him to stare at you. "(Y/N), I thought-" "Ah, you did think I'd keep it a secret, but since you've told quite a few embarrassing stories about Diluc, I think that one embarrassing story about you is only fair, right?" you asked, causing him to sigh, resting his face in his palms. "And elbows off the table, it's not polite." you scolded, causing him to begrudgingly oblige. You watched his face turn redder and redder as you kept recounting the embarrassing memory for him, while the Traveler and Paimon laughed at the funny story.

Once Kaeya left, and you and Diluc said goodbye to the Traveler and Paimon after dinner, you turned and looked at him. "It's not much, but it is progress." you muttered, causing him to look at you. "What?" he asked, confused. "I said that it's not much, but it's progress. You didn't kick him out when he got here, and you invited him to stay for dinner. You also didn't say that the Winery wasn't his home like the other years, so yeah, it's progress." you said, looking down at your Vision. Diluc noticed where you were looking, and got up before pulling you into a tight hug. You rested your head against his shoulder. Adelinde happened to be walking back out to finish getting the dishes and saw the two of you. "Shall I prepare a second set of sheets for tonight, or did you want to do that?" she asked, giving you a knowing look. You hid your face in your hands as she laughed. "Only kidding, but I should get back home. Good night, Master Diluc, and to you as well, (Y/N)." she said, grabbing her things and leaving for the night. Elzer had left by now, having decided to walk Moco and Hillie back to their homes, which left the two of you alone. "Hey, can I talk to you about something?" you asked, causing him to pull back slightly before nodding. "Sure, what is it?" he asked, a worried look on his face as he spoke. You shook your head, leading him upstairs to your shared bedroom. The two of you got ready for bed in relative silence, with few words being exchanged between the two of you before you both settled down in bed for the night. After you were sure he was comfortable, you spoke. "I know you tend to bury yourself in your work, but you've been pulling all-nighters a lot lately, and I'm starting to get worried about you." you muttered, your eyes meeting his. He looked away. "You shouldn't worry about me." he said, causing you to stare him down. "Diluc, as selfish as I am, I really should." you said. "You're not selfish, what do you mean?" he asked. You kissed him, before pressing your forehead against his. "Oh, but I am. I'm so selfish when it comes to you. Your time, your attention, your love, I'm selfish for those things, and yet I never seem to get them. You're always so busy, and I never really see you anymore, but I wish I did, so yeah, I'm selfish, Diluc. The more you stay away and stay out late and shut yourself away in your office, the more selfish I become." you said, cupping his face in your hands. "There are so many desires I've let go unfulfilled for the past few years because you've been so busy." you whispered, tears welling up in your eyes. "Like what? There's no reason to cry like this." he said, thumbing away your tears gently. He sighed deeply. "I want to know what those desires of yours are, because if I can't even fulfill those desires, then what's to say that I will ever be able to in the future?" he asked, an encouraging smile on his face as he looked down at you. You took a deep breath, letting your mind wander as you spoke.

"I want to travel all over Teyvat with you. I want to see the Seven Nations in their entirety, excluding Snezhnaya, of course, with you. I want to see the Thunder Sakura trees in Inazuma with you, and I want to go to the deserts of Sumeru and look at the ancient ruins there with you. I want to see the festivals each and every nation celebrates outside of just Mondstadt and Liyue, and I want to see them with you. I want to see the tall cliffs of The Chasm, and I want to see every mountain in Liyue with you. I want to see Watatsumi Island in Inazuma, and the Avidya Forest in Sumeru, but not if I'm not there with you." you said, leaning against him. "Is there anything else?" he asked, looking down at you as tears started welling up in his eyes. "When we finally stop traveling Teyvat, I want to come back here and stay for good. I want us to start a family of our own and have children of our own, regardless of whether they're adopted or ours. I want to watch them grow up and then spend the rest of my life with you here when they move away and go on their own adventures. I want to do it all with you." you whispered, looking up at him with so much love and adoration that it almost made him breathless. "I love you so very much, Diluc Ragnvindr, and I'm so selfish when it comes to you. I know those adventures will take us who knows where and Celestia knows how long, but I want so badly to see those places with you instead of reading about them in a book while I wait for you alone at night. It's so dreadfully lonely without you here by my side, and I love you so much." you said. When he didn't say anything, you thought he wasn't really listening, but the moment he leaned closer and spoke, you knew he heard you. "Then why don't we start planning those adventures this week? You've been there for me for years, even when I wasn't there for you when I should've been. I want to make it up to you, even if I have to spend the rest of my life doing so. I love you too much to put it into words and have them do my feelings justice, but you've always been so patient with me. You didn't hate me or resent me when I left you here alone to go find answers about a weapon that I should have known more about in the first place. You've been patient with me every day whenever I've had a long day and want to be alone, despite what you just told me. You're not the selfish one, I am." he said, causing you to smile softly. "Then why don't we be selfish for one another together?" you asked, causing him to nod. "I think I know what Adelinde meant when she said that I was a good one." you said, looking down into his crimson eyes. "What do you mean?" he asked. "When she said I was a good one that night your father invited me to stay for dinner, when I returned your coat after you left it with me. She said as I was putting my plate in the sink that I was a good one. I didn't know what that meant then, but I do now." you said, looking at him. "What did she mean?" he asked, already knowing the answer. "She knew I was in love with you then, but she chose to keep it mostly to herself." you said, pinning him down by his wrists. "Oh, speaking of returning things, I never gave you this back, mainly because I forgot, but also because I didn't know that I was your source of inspiration most of the time." he said, pushing himself up onto his forearms and holding you as he rummaged through his nightstand drawer. His hand met leather and he knew what it was before he pulled it out of the drawer. He handed you your sketchbook, smiling as you looked over your old drawings of him. "They look almost nothing like my style now." you said, causing him to chuckle softly. "That just means your style has improved." you heard him say. "Yeah, it has." you smiled fondly at the drawings, before looking back and kissing him. "I meant those things I said earlier, by the way. I want to start those travels as far away from here as possible, so that we can end up right back where we started." you said, letting his hands gently grasp yours. "Inazuma then?" he asked, causing you to nod.

The two of you talked until the moon hung in the middle of the night sky, signaling that it was midnight. You, however, didn't care how late it was, and talked until your sentences were slurred by drowsiness. You fell asleep against his chest as he gazed down at you, a smile on his face as he felt true peace for the first time in what felt like a long, long time.

No matter where these adventures would take the two of you, home for you both was in each other's arms, and neither of you would have it any other way.

Somethingโ€™s Fishy Here (Merperson!reader)

Notes: My contribution to Mermay 2024 while I still have motivation to write this month.

Characters: Alhaitham, Diluc Ragnvindr, Wriothesley, Dainsleif, Neuvilette, Capitano

Warnings: mentions of physical violence

Masterlist

Alhaitham (Lemon Shark)

Sumeru was known as the land of kelp. It was a large kelp forest before the reefs of Fontaine and after the clear waters of Liyue and Mondstadt.

You, being one of the more curious members of the merfolk, had been traveling alone for a time.

Sumeru, as it happened, was one of the places youโ€™d been wanting to visit the most.

That was when you first met Alhaitham, a lemon shark merman who was a tad more standoffish than most others of his subspecies.

You were a beta fish merperson, your tail frilled and colorful. It was one of your only defense mechanisms save for the shorter claws you had compared to other more aggressive merfolk that came from harsher places.

Alhaitham was, by all standards, a good lover to you. He treated you well and kept you safe if ever he saw someone as a threat.

One time, you accidentally flipped him over while you were bothering him and that was the day you realized what Tonic Immobility was.

He likes nuzzling your neck and is practically attached at the hip to you all evening after a long day apart from you.

Diluc Ragnvindr (Red Snapper)

You were a shark, so you often tended to be a bit of a loner.

Thatโ€™s why you were so surprised to find that you had feelings for Diluc, a Red Snapper merman.

Diluc didnโ€™t really know how to react when he found you were often there to help whenever he needed assistance, but he figured out why when you bared your teeth at Donna when she tried to make him uncomfortable and get in his personal space.

Soon enough, he plucked up the courage to ask you to be with him. He noticed you looked rather excited when he asked, and you happily said yes to him.

He definitely laughs when he realizes you can go into tonic immobility.

He doesnโ€™t do it often, given that youโ€™re in a trance for almost fifteen minutes every time he does it, but he does find it heavily amusing.

He likes staying close to you, given he rarely gets to have a break from work, so you usually help him with his work when youโ€™re not working for the Adventurers Guild.

Wriothesley (Great White Shark)

Shark Wriothesley is the best Wriothesley

You were a swordfish merperson, but you quite liked being around Wriothesley even before you got into a relationship with him.

Thereโ€™s a lot of hunting competitions between the two of you.

Wriothesley, despite knowing you can hold your own, definitely fights for you whenever you two get into any skirmishes with others because of his more instinct driven nature that rears its head in fights.

His territory is the Meropide Trenches that separate the north and south hemispheres of Fontaineโ€™s waters.

He hates it when you flip him over. His tonic immobility lasts for a little over ten minutes, but he still hates it because it stresses him out.

Heโ€™s fiercely protective of you, but itโ€™s because he loves you and doesnโ€™t want you getting hurt.

Dainsleif (Greenland Shark)

Heโ€™s definitely a Greenland Shark merman in my personal opinion.

Khaenriโ€™ah used to be a reef system, but during a tectonic shift, was sucked deeper down in the ocean, resulting in a tsunami due to the colliding tectonic plates.

The tsunami wiped out many in the population, which were sharks, and Dainsleif, cursed by the Seven alongside the other pureblood Khaenriโ€™ahn people, slowly became a Greenland Shark, but his tail remained the same deep royal and navy blue colors it had always been, despite the fins morphing over time to tolerate the far lower depths of the sea.

That was when he met you, a snailfish merperson, who lived closer to the deeper depths of the trenches.

You got along well with him, and often visited him given how easily you traveled to the deeper parts of the trenches without any trouble.

Heโ€™s a tad more protective, but thatโ€™s because he doesnโ€™t want to lose you as he has most of not all of the other people in his life.

Neuvilette (Swordfish)

Neuvilette is a swordfish merman, Iโ€™ll die on this hill.

Instead of being protective and possessive of you, he mostly just tries to avoid situations where you would need his protection.

He likes giving you gifts, itโ€™s one of the ways he expresses his love for you.

Suddenly, your home is filled with little trinkets and shiny things he finds whenever heโ€™s out and about in the reefs.

He also speaks to the melusines, who swim around with you when youโ€™re unable to see him due to his work.

He likes physical touch, itโ€™s one of the things that calms him down in the rare occasions where he gets angry.

Though he rarely shows it, he does often worry about you, even if you can defend yourself.

Capitano (Great White Shark)

Another shark merman.

Capitano is one of the larger shark merfolk, so he usually doesnโ€™t even need to fight for someone to get the message to leave if they bother you.

Youโ€™d wandered into his territory by accident, but you, being a remora fish merperson, immediately thought he was friend shaped and swam up to say hi.

Heโ€™s perplexed by you. Few to none of the other merfolk in these waters swim within half a mile of his territory, but heโ€™s certainly not one to refuse the company of someone as kind as you, so he lets you explore.

He slowly grows to realize he has feelings for you, and itโ€™s only when he sees Dottore, a tiger shark, going after you that he realizes that heโ€™d rather fight someone to the death than see you hurt.

After all, it ought to be only him biting you, and certainly not to kill you.

After that incident, he asks if youโ€™ll be in a relationship with him, and you say yes.

Heโ€™s a good lover, and provides most anything you wish for.

Heโ€™d raze the whole ocean if only to see you happy.
