New Osiris lore dropped. So in Enigma Protocol mission, the comms are done by text in the upper left side of the screen. It's mostly just Failsafe, Osiris and Saint texting. And I got the best one today.

thought of this while playing thru the final shape today

BL spoilers kinda but I gotta write down this dream I had before it goes away

Basically it started with two Exos named Secretary and E*something* (might’ve been emissary) who were trying to run from the Fallen in a crashed Ketch in the EDZ. They both died(?) but Sec stayed on coms for the rest of the dream, her death audio looping

I never saw what E looked like- they might’ve just been some random AI on the coms. Sec was a bright teal Exo with yellow eyes

Meanwhile, I was in the perspective of my Hunter, Bitrik, who was exploring the Ketch- it wasn’t like the EDZ we know today tho. It was like some subsidiary of it, like a sector in a national park (idk that’s how my dreambrain described it)

There was tons of Eliksni architecture as I made my way through the tunnels. Eventually it opened up to this kind of pit, lined with rounded metal and with a massive pillar in the center

Now that I think about it, the arena was built like that one lost sector on the Moon, but bigger and with more Eliksni architecture

And in the center on top of this turret-like structure was Eramis. Not like in the game though- she was bigger, more purple than blue, and had nightmarishly long forearms and claws. She was yelling in Eliksni, but my Ghost slowly translated it- “We rise and devour what we have lost” or something

The arena was filled with dead Dregs, and Brigs (although at the time I knew them as Walkers) watching from the alcoves of the ring. Eventually Eramis left and the Brigs attacked, shielded by a massive Servitor in the center.

Knowing full well that I couldn’t take THAT shit on, I jumped on my Sparrow and hauled ass outa there. Sec kept screaming in my headset while E talked about how the Eliksni came to build some kind of factory to make Exo-Eliksni hybrids...

Towards the end I saw Sec’s body, torn apart and left in a gory heap at the entrance to some Eliksni structure. E mourned the loss of their friend as I loaded my gun (don’t remember which one) and stepped into the building. There, the dream ended.

Hawkmoon’s Random Rolls and (kill-based) Catalyst are out! Go talk to Crow and FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS TO THE LETTER (don’t cheese shit lmao)

HAWKMOON CATALYST- HOW AND WHAT

How to Obtain: Completing the Harbinger mission, which is also (legitimately, if you don’t dupe it) farmable once per week. Once obtained, you must get 700 Paracausal Shot final blows with the gun.

What it Does: Increases Mag Size (+10 mag stat according to Light.gg- possibly +1/2 bullets?); Boosts reload, handling, and range based on stacks of Paracausal Shots

HOW TO DO THE HARBINGER QUEST IN THE EDZ:

Go to the floor beneath the entrance to the Resevoir. Take out your Hawkmoon and shoot the back wall in the fireplace. A full mag should break it, revealing a secret passage.

There should be a mission marker in there AS SOON AS YOU ENTER. Activate it, and it’ll start up the “Harbinger” mission. From there, keep following the path down an alleyway, looking for a branch on the left. This will lead you to a door that opens up to the path to Crow’s Nest.

Be careful climbing out the window, because the teleport plane that used to be there might still exist and shoot you to Trostland But Wrong, which’ll force you to go back to orbit to escape.

Once you get to the path to Crow’s Nest, you’ll notice that the tube is blocked by a door. Go to the ledge with the Hobgoblin, hop over to the twig, then fly/floof/pray to the wall of the Dam. Follow the ledges until you find a metal plate. Under it will be a pathway that leads into the Dam. From there, follow the enemies to progress the mission!

THINGS TO NOTE ABOUT HARBINGER

There are at least 2 new achievements to obtain. I don’t know if these are specific to the Harbinger mission and not the Crow and the Hawk mission, however. The first one is for beating the mission in 15 mins or less; and the second one is for completing the mission USING HAWKMOON THE WHOLE WAY THROUGH. These missions are currently bugged as of Jan 19, so be aware of that.

Look around for Paracausal Feathers! These will grant you progress for the Exotic Ship quest, and can be farmed weekly. Right now, the feathers drop at a rate that’d complete the quest in three weeks. If you’re dedicated enough to delete characters, you can also earn it in a single week. Bungie is probably gonna patch this though.

DO NOT ONE-PHASE THE LARGER, IMMUNE EMMISARIES UNTIL YOU GET TO THE “SURVIVE” PHASE. Like the High Celibrant, THIS WILL BUG YOUR MISSION and require a full restart to fix

THIS MISSION IS AT 1270 LIGHT LEVEL. If you intend on solo’ing it while underleveled, prepare to get your shit ran

In a lot of media, people whose bodies are larger than a twig are unfortunately the butt of a joke

but Nezarec being such a badass to the degree that his body type isn’t a thing of note- other than complimenting his aura of a powerful warrior…

Absolutely love how Eris was just staring at the Drifter for a full on second in the middle of a battlefield, before focusing on the fight ahead😂
