sunghoon hated your fucking guts. always tripping you , making snarky remarks in class at you , talking about your appearance.
and yes, the feeling was definitely mutual. how could someone like a stuck up fool like him? always breaking girls hearts, making girls scared of him, fucking and dipping. those things are definitely something you can hate. but you wouldn't say he wasnt attractive.. his tall figure always looming over you as he argues with you for the nth time that day.
but his attitude was fucking horrible. thats what made it hard to stand him or even talk to him.
you had a class with him, sitting in your chair as his was seated at the front making it easy to see him. gosh, the teacher must hate you for making him so visible in your line of sight!
"Class! settle down, today is a very important day" your teacher announces while looking through his folder "the partners for the projects will be settled today!— as i am about to call them out in a bit" oh? partners? you glanced at your friend, wonyoung and smiled hoping she would be your partner "wonyoung your with jake , jay your with karina , heeseung your with danielle and yn.." please dont be sunghoon— "you'll be with sunghoon." your eyes widen and so does sunghoons.
he glances back at you with a disgusted look on his face , you return the look with a eyeroll which made him turn back around. really!? him of all people!? gosh.. the teacher must ACTUALLY hate me.

FIRST CHAPTER.

FIRST CHAPER BELOW.
you couldn't focus during the whole class when you heard that you will be partners with sunghoon. your enemy sunghoon. you sighed to yourself and looked up to see him rubbing his temple while chatting with jake, probably saying bullshit about not wanting to be partnered with you.
after your dreadful class and the announcement your teacher made about project partners all you wanted to do was go home. sighing to yourself as you went towards your friends karina and wonyoung.
"yn!" wonyoung yelped as she held your hand "i saw how sunghoon looked at you. im literally going to slap him!" she said with a scoff , "exactly! who does he think he is?" karina adds on as she starts to ramble on about how annoying she is just to look up to sunghoon walking over to the area "speak of the devil."
sunghoon makes his way over to your group "yn i need to talk to you." he said as he grabbed your arm , pulling you along with him "cant you just say—" "shut up." he said as he pushed you into a secluded area.
"look. i know were partners but you know i dont want shit to do with you." he hissed holding your wrist tightly "okay? so your bitching over being partners?.. get a grip." you giggled out.
"watch your fucking mouth yn. or ill fucking punch you in it." he grabbed your face roughly "listen here. your gonna do all the work, your going to bring it to me to view over and if i approve you turn it in. got it?" he threatened "l-let go.." you mumbled out as the pain started to hurt very bad, tears prickling in your eyes.
"i said.." he let you go before pushing you down , getting to your level just to grab your face harshly again "do you fucking understand? or are you that fucking dumb?" his words and the push made the tears finally come out "i understand!" you sniffle out, finally feeling relieved after he go "next time i wont just push you."
tears rushed down your face as sunghoons figure slowly disappeared. you were left there with a bruise of where his hands were on your face , you got up and decided to just grab your stuff from your locker and walk home.
after you successfully walked home and washed up you thought to yourself about how your going to do the project , you flopped onto your bed and immediately sighed. "why is he such a dick." you said to yourself and sat up.
your phone lit up and you had a text from your groupchat with wonyoung and karina. "ynie! where did you go!?" a text read from karina , you proceeded to reassure them that you just went home early because you knew if you told them about the situation with sunghoon they would rain all hell on him.
thats when you laid on your back and closed your eyes. until your phone lit up again with a new text message that read

you stared at the text as your breath hitched. this has to be some type of prank right? how did he get your number? you couldn't think straight with how worried you were so you decided to ignore it and try to sleep.
getting comfy in your sheets and putting on a movie you mind started to linger. how did you and sunghoon even end up as enemies?.
your mom walked you to the park as she smiled at you pointing and giggling at all the playstuff , you leg go of your moms hand as she stood and watched you run away to the swings.
you jumped up on one and started to kick your feet to swing but to no avail , you sulked until you felt a pair of tiny hands on your back. you looked behind you and noticed it was a little boy with moles littered on his chubby face.
"do you need help swinging?" he said and you nodded as you held on tight to the swing handles. he pushed you and you swung upwards and repeated again and again.
you giggles as the swing came to a stop and you hopped off, he stared at you and stuck out his hand awkwardly "im.. sunghoon.. whats your name?" he quietly said "im yn!" you excitedly shook his hand and smiled at him "can we be friends!?" you said happily "um... sure.. do you want to play more?" you nodded and tugged him towards the playset.
and from then on you and him were the bestest of friends all up to middle school, grade 6. sunghoon had notified you about everything in his life and you did the same, so it was no surprise when sunghoon got a girlfriend he told you about her and introduced her to you.
it was all smooth until you found out she was cheating on sunghoon from karina, you dashed away from her and immediately ran to sunghoon.
"hoon! i have something to tell you! its important!" you say out of breath and he looked at you confused. "whats going on yn?" he looked at you as you cleared your throat "karina just told me that gf/n is cheating! she showed me screenshots and all—" "yn. are you serious?" he said with a stern look "huh what do you mean—" it was your turn to be confused now "see i knew when gf/n told me you might have a crush on me and try to break us up she probably knew something.. really yn? are you that jealous?" he cockly said "sunghoon? i dont have a crush on you! a-and im not even lying! you can ask karina!" "this is a new low even for you yn. i dont wanna see you again. your a disgrace for a best friend.
and after that you never talked to him again. you remember it vividly.. you cried a bunch that night, blocking sunghoon on everything and even taking you guys childhood photo down. you hated his fucking guts for believe his shit girlfriend over you.
you sniffled and wiped your tears, you didn't even realize you were crying at the thought of your used to be best friend. that fact he hated you still even after the fact him and him girlfriend broke up during that time, hes a sick man and you never ever will think of him no other than that.
you ended up drifting off to sleep and when you opened your eyes it was already morining. you sighed to yourself and got out your outfit for the day before rushing to take a shower and do your skincare. today you were going to ignore sunghoon as much as you can and make sure you dont cross his path let alone see his face.
you were out of breath from your walk and you scanned the packed hall and your eyes immediately fell on wonyoung and karina, you waved at them and made your way towards the girls with a more uplifted mood. "hey wony! hey rina!" you chirped and they greeted you back. "yn did you and sunghoon like.. have a talk or something?" karina asked with a sense of confusion in her voice "huh? what do you mean?" you gulped as your mind flipped back to when he basically humiliated you and left you to cry in the hall.
"he came over here asking if you had your phone on you or some—" "he texted me.." your words shocked the girls and they started to bombard you with questions "look! i dont know what he sent because i didn't look at it." "check it right now!" wonyoung says , opting you to grab your phone and open the message.

" just wanted to tell you a warning. dont tell your low life friends about what i did or theyll watch me beat the shit out of you next time."
your hands trembled while you stared at the text message , shock visible on your face. "so? what he say?" wonyoung asked . her question made your head lift up. "just some bullshit about the project." you shrugged it off and then the bell ringed signaling it was time to go to class. "bye yn! we'll catch you later!"
