Sometime, after he finished eating, he would accidentally keep/let his tongue out. And it just stay out there like that until something occur for Tomioka to use it (or someone tells him and he turns and walk away in embarrassment)

Atrocious sleeping habits. Never (or rarely) sleeps at night, and always found napping. And most of the time, under the sun light in like... A ball or the most uncomfortable position imaginable.

This man is a street cat if he's a cat. Never cleans (or rarely), very scared of people, hissy but only talk tho.

Kanae did have to give him a domestication arc

She had to force him into that God damn bath too-

(after the war, this motherfucker was the one with the best hygiene out there, his skin and hair routines are to kill for)

Very quiet, too quiet (the first time he meet Uzui and Himejima, he scared the living shit out of them, and they scared him with they scream)

And talking about that... His hair poof out like a cat when surprise,scared or angry. His ponytail get 2 or 3 time bigger and it's hilarious every time

When wanting attention or annoyed at someone (Shinobu) he would make things fall from were their put on table or other.

The first time he meet Obanai, he had jump so high in the sky upon seeing his snake (yes, Shinobu did do the cucumber thing, exact same reaction as a cat)

Dogs hates him. Do I need to say more ?

He really appreciate Himejima, and cats loves this gentle giant.

At first, he hated water, now, he just doesn't care. But if it's cold, you can go duck yourself-

When he was a child, he always tried to catch insects (mostly butterflies), birds and fishes. But not with traps or weapons. No no no. With his bare hands, hunting like an animal (he did do the wiggle wiggle, and his pupils did dilate too)

He also did had zoomies, now he train.

Climbed on tree and couldn't get down ?... Yep. Only as a child tho. As an adult, he can get down on his own.

Always fall on his feet for unknown reasons

Urodaki can say, he did indeed the long cat meme (and still does, everyone who saw Himejima hold him by his armpits can agree)

And finally, he softly headbuts people he likes, follow them like a lost puppy and slow blink at them. (When he was a, he would run around them and climb them like a tree) And let's not forget annoying them when they try to work or do something other than giving him attention.

Tomiaka and the hashiras hc, part 1 Rengoku Kyojuro !

Tomioka loves rengoku's warm but hate how loud he is.

One time, they had a mission together and sleep in the same room in a inn after they killed the demon. In the morning, Rengoku found Tomioka cuddle against him, and he had that weird urge to not move nor say a word, as if it was cat next to him.

He stayed like this for 5 hours.

5 hours.

When Tomioka awaken, he jumps so high Rengoku thought he was going to hit the rooftop.

They never talk about it afterward.

Never acknowledge it. At all.

The Child(ren) is(are) his and no one can do anything about it.

Yes, he has an adoption problem. But at this point I think it's a requirement to be a water pillar-

Anyway

Tomioka was like a normal cat when he first saw Tokito, didn't wanted to do anything with the child.

That was until they had a mission together, and Tokito accidentally got hurt.

Obliviously, Tomioka is going to think it was his fault and yada yada... So in the end, he started to take care of him.

Healed his wounds, took his food to him, make sure he was fine...

Tokito was still able to walk, and so, wanted to go to walk around at one moment.

But he forgotten to tell Tomioka.

So the (cat)man goes to their room and... Don't find Tokito in it. And start to Panic.

It made him actually go talk to people, asking if they saw (his kid) the teen, running around in the village calling his name looking searching him everywhere.

The boy was chilling (and forgetting things-) until he heard someone call his name, so he goes there. (Just like a kitten being called by their mama cat-)

Upon seeing his (child) coworker, Tomioka runs to him, taking him in his arms and walks back to the inn holding Tokito like a baby while scolding him about this. (like a stressed mother-)

The teen didn't give a singular duck about that and let the man do it. And yes, his tongue was out and it was adorable.

And this now how they are with eachother.

Everyone call Tokito Tomioka's kitten and Tomioka Tokito's mama cat.

And yes, Tokito is also cat coded, just like Tomioka.

Uzui was chilling peaceful as the one first one here, waiting for the other to arrive with Himejima. He was talking calmly (or as calmly this man can be) with his fellow hashira.

Until...

Someone suddenly just touch his shoulder.

He will let every single one of you that he absolutely did not jump on Himejima in his scare nor scream like a little girl, nuh huh. Not at all. But if he did, it wa- um... He means would be completely and absolutely flamboyant !

Anyway-

He turn his head towards the person whom (and no, he didn't have to get down Himejima.)... Just touch his shoulder and nothing else. To... Someone he doesn't know ?

Oh yes ! The new guy ! Water hashira if he's not mistaken. "Hey Tomioka ! Welcome and congratulations on your promotion !" Eh ? That seems to make him uncomfortable ? Oh well. "Pleased to meet you, Tomioka-san, welcome and congratulations." He simply hum as a response. Huh, he doesn't seem like the talkative type. Oh well, too bad.

He goes to his corner on his own. And Uzui tries to listen to his heartbeat...
