I think it’s kind of funny how in Fifteen Dazai wants Chuuya (a homeless kid with a strong ability who he picked up from the streets to join the mafia, who he keeps calling his dog) to be his subordinate and is pissed when Mori gives him to Kouyou instead, and then in a Heartless Curr (or A Silent Rabid Dog. Whatever the fuck you want to call it. The translation is kind of inconsistent) when talking to Akutagawa (a homeless kid with a strong ability who he picked up from the streets to join the mafia, who is heavily tied to dog symbolism) he tells him that Mori finally let him have whatever subordinates he wants now that he’s an executive. Like, I don’t think the Akutagawa thing was about Chuuya necessarily, but I do think it shows a pattern of behavior. And, like, damn bitch, get a grip.

People talk about Dazai gay panicking when they first met but what about when Chuuya fights? Whether he's in corruption or not... that man is whipped in those moments.
