John Hughes made some really incredible films but Breakfast Club was one of the greatest films ever made. It was a true phenomenon. It's in my personal top 10. ~ Trabue Gentry

Ok but you know what would make the Breakfast Club better: lesbians
like imagine Jane Bender and Claire Standish, both closeted lesbians with the same social standings in the movie
Jane dislikes the popular kids because she feels like they won’t accept her
Clare hangs with them so nobody suspects, which is why she struggles with her popularity so much
Jane’s parents are abusive because they know and disapprove
Clare’s situation is basically the same: parents use her to get back at each other
sexual tension builds
during the scene where Clare is questioned about her virginity; she is uncomfortable saying bc of her sexuality
the lipstick scene happens the exact same way
and then the whole ending closet scene makes much more sense because
“were you really disgusted by what I did with my lipstick” “no”
“why’d you do that?” “because I knew you wouldn’t” when they kiss makes so much more sense if they’re in the closet
“remember how your parents use you to get back at eachother? wouldn’t I be outstanding in that capacity?”
So in conclusion the breakfast club, like most other movies, would have been better if it were gay. Thank you that is all

i wouldn't really know anything definite. we lost touch after graduation, and even so, he was always off doing whatever. i heard a rumor he went off and joined a rock band. another one said he got arrested for possession of a gun. for all i know, it could be either one, knowing him.
he and claire didn't last long at all. if he got arrested, they broke up before that, and i don't even think it was much of a proper relationship. claire's father was more of the 'what am i doing wrong that you'd wanna be seen with that hoodlum?' type, so inevitably, claire felt too guilty, and john treated her like shit. i assumed it was the natural course of things back then.

hm. im gonna have to say claire. she was always so pretty, and i hope she ended up with something that made her happy, knowing her parents, and knowing her. i picked up an old journal from years ago when i was cleaning out my room in the process of moving out, and ill transcribe an excerpt here. "Claire's beautiful, beautiful like Autumn leaves, and she deserves someone better than Bender, better than teenage rebellion. She deserves the mountains, and the lakes, and the ridges, and the country sky." i think i was in love with her back then.

yes!!! a black cat, shes a rescue, and shes named olivia. i was planning on naming her oliver, because i thought she was a boy cat at first, but the vet told me

most of the time she just curls up in my lap, but she also likes going outside. sometimes, she'll be out all day, and then when i let her back in, she'll be tired and curl up with me. its adorable :)
How's Brian doing now, if you don't mind me asking?
I'm unsure, I heard that he's working as an accountant, for a company in Chicago, but I don't really have anything feasible to really back that. Whatever he's doing, I just hope he found peace, I guess. It was sad seeing him like that.
