I keep having this fantasy where I'm a servant and I impress a rich Roman lady. We become closer, eventually both (secretly) yearning for each other. Until, I run away to forget my hopeless love for her and to fight for my dream. Then, I come back two or three years later, with a successful career, and she's still been waiting for me. That night, she hosts a celebration for my return, yet she sneaks me up to her room, where I tell her stories of my travels and I become drunken with wine, accidentally telling her of my love for her. The next morning, she teases me about it, and she entrusts her love to me as well. I make her my wife, taking care of her, and her of me, just like I did when I was her servant girl. But since I can't go back in time, I'll settle for marrying a professor of classical culture and language. Bonus if she's Italian.
