Chapter 19: A God of Wine and Flowers:
Excerpt:
“Tyrion entered Sansa’s rooms. He exchanged some small words with her handmaidens. The rooms were dark and quiet. The only light was the flicker of a few candles that were placed around her chamber. The air was thick with the scent of citrus, as that was Sansa’s favorite. The slight breeze coming in from the outdoors carried the fragrance around the room. As his eyes adjusted to the darkness, he could just make out the form of Sansa laying in bed. Her chest rising and falling with each breath.”

It's only after these events that a letter arrives at Winterfell, written by Lyanna herself, explaining that she left of her own accord. The deaths of the Lord of Winterfell and the Heir of the Eyrie, along with Aerys' demand for the heads of Robert and Ned, ignite a rebellion. Elia, isolated in Kings Landing without her children, must play her role as the dutiful wife. All of these songs are so much Lyanna coded in my fic 'the queen and her bastard' au.
Its amazing how I dont like her at all but I think her chapter is going to be the best thing I have ever written because I literally made a playlist and listened to it on loop for six hours while going back home and psychoanalysed her character more than necessary and thought about my own teenage days when i and girls around me were fifteen.
Apologies in advance if it's too harsh or too sympathetic to her in your opinion.

Someone write this fic please!!
There is an AU where Arya actually somehow ends up as Nan, Roose's cupbearer in Winterfell and it's just Jeyne,Theon and Arya doing that meme at each other:

Honestly Theon's point of view would probably not be funny because Theon.
And Arya would try to escape with Jeyne at least.
Introducing…

House Branfield of Gold Grove is a rich and influential house of the Reach. Gold Grove is known for its seemingly endless gold fields of wheat, to which it supplies all of Westeros. Favorited granddaughter of the highly respected Lord Joran Branfield, Fallon is the only child of his Joran’s third son.
Controversy surrounded Fallon’s birth. Gareth Branfield was known to all as a gentle and highly intelligent man, all though somewhat weak willed. Society was scandalized to learn that the son of such a respected house ran off with a common servant girl, Marion. The scandal furthered when Gareth reappeared with the woman proclaiming her as his wife and that the two expected a child. Nine moons later, Marion gave to a daughter, but sadly Marion died in childbirth.
Gareth doted on his daughter, often dismissing her nursemaids and nannies to take care of Fallon himself. Lord Joran was also very fond of his granddaughter, spoiling her, employing the best seamstresses for wardrobe, and enlisting the best tutors for her education. Fallon’s aunt, Shannon, also favorited her only niece. Though not every member of House Branfield cared for Fallon. Fallon’s uncles and cousins considered her father’s marriage to her mother as disgraceful and invalid, often referring to her as a bastard.
Tragedy struck after Fallon turned one and ten, Gareth Branfield was unexpectedly stricken with fever and died. With both her mother and father dead, Fallon was left with no one to care for her. After Fallon’s father passed, she clung to her grandfather by assisting him managing House Branfield’s affairs.
Two years later, Lord Joran Branfield saw an opportunity for his then three and ten granddaughter when letters were sent out by Queen Alicent Hightower searching for a lady-in-waiting for the young Princess Helaena Targaryen. Fallon soon proved herself as valuable companion and lady-in-waiting to the princess. Princess Helaena and Fallon Branfield became inseparable, remind the Queen and all those in the Red Keep of another princess and her companion.
His schemes never ceasing, the Hand of the King, Otto Hightower saw Fallon and House Branfield as a valuable asset to putting Aegon on the throne. Not only did House Branfield have significant influence on the Reach and immense wealth, they also held onto one of the largest food sources in the South. It was declared that the Queen’s second son, Prince Aemond Targaryen, would wed Fallon Branfield when she turned six and ten and Aemond eight and ten.
The ceremony was lavish and it was said by all that Fallon Branfield was a most beautiful bride in a dress the color of fresh cream, Myrish lace, and pearls. Prince Aemond and Fallon Branfield already quite fond of each other made an attractive pairing. Prince Aemond notably cold, intense, and unapproachable, only softened for his family and beloved wife. The couple flourished despite the sword hanging over their heads, but eventually the sword dropped and the dragons danced.
a Jeyne of your choice with a baby?
Thank you for the prompt!
I feel like I should probably apologise to you for this one…
Jeyne curled around her baby.
The soft red curls on his head, the blue of his eyes, the blood in his veins, all of it made her son a target.
Edwyn would never know his father, nor his grandparents, nor even his aunts and uncles. He might not even know his mother, if the Lannisters had their way.
“Mama loves you so, so much.” Jeyne whispered, pressing a kiss to the down on his head, “Mama loves you more than the moon and the stars and the sun.”
She let herself place another kiss to his head, savouring the memory of him. It was a memory she would surely need in the dark of her cell.
Edwyn smiled at her, his gums poking through the curve of his perfect little lips. He waved one chubby fist in the air, and as Jeyne caught it she couldn’t he’ll but marvel over every single one of his tiny, perfect fingernails.
Her baby was perfect and she wished she could see him grow.
Carefully she dressed him in a gown made from one of Robb’s shirts. Carefully she swaddled him in a blanket made from her marriage cloak. She tucked her jewels into the swaddle, hiding them in the folds of the cloth.
It was all she could give him. All she had that would prove who he was.
A plain blanket and swaddling bands went over the top. He had to stay warm, had to stay safe, and blending in was his best chance for that.
“Mama loves you.” She said once more, pressing a single drop of sweetsleep onto his gums. A single drop should not hurt him, and it would be safer than him awaking and making a noise the Lannisters could track.
His eyes blinked shut, and Jeyne mourned for the loss of their sweet blue. She cradled him close to her chest and stole from her rooms. Better her family did not know what she was about to do. Better no one but she knew of her plan.
The castle was dark, but Jeyne knew it almost as well as her childhood home. Months under siege would do that.
The river was her destination, the small patch of bank only accessible through a door hidden by the reeds. It would be visible to the shore on any other night but for the lack of moon in the sky.
“You are sure of this?” Ser Brynden asked as he stood from his crouched position among the reeds, his voice low and kind.
“I am.” Jeyne straightened her shoulders and passed her precious son to his great uncle.
Set Brynden took Edwyn as though he was the most fragile glass, and tucked him securely into an oilskin sling against his front. So too did he take the bag that Jeyne passed him, packed with some of what he might need to keep her son safe and well.
She should have been sending him off with a grand entourage. Should have been keeping him with her in the keep.
But Lord Edmure had been spotted within the Lannister camp and they all knew it was only a matter of time before he was used to make the castle surrender.
A single swimmer would have the best chance at evading the Lannisters, and Ser Brynden had the best chance of being believed as he championed her son’s identity.
“Keep him safe, my lord. Restore him to his home.”
Ser Brynden looked down at her, his face solemn. “I swear, my queen. King Edwyn will see Winterfell, will sit upon the throne of the North as his father did before him.”
Jeyne stepped back, the tears in her eyes finally trailing down her cheeks. “I know you will. Now go! We will buy you whatever time we can. Go! Before the Lannisters wake. Go!”
Ser Brynden smiled, he tucked Edwyn closer to his chest within his oilskin sling, and he slipped into the dark of the water.
And Jeyne waited on the bank until the last of the ripples had died away and her son was truly gone.
They were devils to each other.

Alana knew Roose. But Roose didn't really know her.

The two of them had embarked on a dangerous road together. Both would suffer, but their ruthlessness and cunning drew them together.

In the end, Roose might regret compromising his hard heart. But he had found his equal, perhaps more sinister.

Depends on where you look at it.
