Hey folks, if you want to fight back against the twitterfication of tumblr USE IT LIKE IT'S TUMBLR!!!!!! REBLOG THINGS!!!!!! USE THE TAGS TO SCREAM AT YOUR FRIENDS!!!!!!!
Bass Practice Routine of a Mediocre Bassist (ADHD Edition):
1. sit down to practice and contemplate life
2. warm up struming hand with 20 reps of petting the cat (very important)
3. sit on my phone and get distracted watching various bass tab videos
4. finally get up and do actual warm ups
5. get distracted again while looking for wherever my gosh dang pick went
6. remember the big expensive object hanging off you
7. mess around for 5 hours goofing off with different riffs
8. realize ive been at it for 6 hours and i missed dinner (mom called down to me hours ago)

So I did some Oswald Cobblepot-inspired nail art last month for Halloween and I thought it would be a nice way to kick off my tumblr :) The left hand features a penguin, an umbrella, and some pinstriping; the right handâs a bit simpler since Iâm right handed, but I tried to make a brocade pattern like Oswaldâs ties and a glitter ombre like his glitter coat. (In case it wasnât clear, Iâm talking about the Gotham TV version of the Penguin.)Â
Also, yes, these are my real nails, and my left thumbnail was over an inch long (cuticle to tip) at the time. Fun fact: I changed a flat tire that month, fabulous nails and all (though I did have a few chips to patch after that).Â
I took a multitude of pictures--literally hundreds--but the top coat I used was so shiny a bunch of them had a glare, but I guess what Iâm trying to say is, if you want to see more pictures or a close-up of any nail in particular, let me know, because I have plenty :) I should also probably share the tutorial I followed for the penguin nail and the other nail art I used for inspiration.Â

Aslaug is a Volsunga. So far, it has been nothing but a burden. She has had a voice in her head, tempting her to be a monster at every moment and never giving her peace; she has lost her father, then her mother, for reasons she has yet to fully understand; she has no idea what she wants to do or what she is destined for, but she does know she's going to have to figure it out on her own.
When she has a chance encounter with her soulmates, Aslaug's destiny truly begins to unfold, and her journey to discover who she is and what she will do begins. Her first task: locate her father's treasure, the legacy of the great Sigurd Fafnesbane. The only thing standing in her way? Her half-sister, Svanhild Volsunga, who is determined to live a life beyond just a woman doomed to die at the hands of a family curse.
Aslaug must choose where her loyalties lie, what path she wishes to follow when all of them lead to nothing but tragedy, and admit that perhaps she might just be a hero - all while the curse of the Andvaranaut begins to test her ability to lose what little she holds dear.
