Marathoning the Alien movies this weekend
I just realized how much Pitch Black took from this series. Also, Summer Glau’s biggest roles were based on Ripley’s clone from Alien:Resurrection.
In my opinion Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic II (2004) was inspired by two of those stories
1. Spirited Away (2001)
I. First of all masks
II. Lord of hunger & Ghost of hunger
At one point No-face (your ghost) is eating everything and everyone in bathhouse.
2. Alien 3 (1992)
I. Story
Doctor in alien 3 (Jonathan Clemens) odly similar story to Atton. Bitter Sweet Romance of him with Ripley where he hides who he realy was in the past reminds me Atton and the Exile a lot.
II. Visual style overall, atmosphere, many desaturated colors.

I just finished my portrait drawing of the Xenomorph. I’m pretty sure this is the result of watching all the Alien movies for the past few months. This was completed with charcoal pencil, chalk pastel and blenders. I also wanted to experiment with charcoal again after finding a piece of charcoal paper. This is the first charcoal drawing I’ve made in a couple of years.
I’ll admit this is the most difficult portrait I’ve made. How the hell did H. R. Giger manage to pull off designing this thing?

I've always loved the alien 3 promo stuff that say "THE BITCH IS BACK" so I made a design inspired by it
just got back from watching Alien: Romulus and loved it in case it wasn't obvious
