Don't Listen To That Anon. Maggie Is A Really Cool Character And Everyone Who Has A Brain In Their Head
Don't listen to that anon. Maggie is a really cool character and everyone who has a brain in their head can see how much work and thoughts you have put into her and the story.
I saw a lot of mainstream and Mary Sue ocs and Maggie is far from being one. In my opinion it was time that someone finally gave Hank a kid. Marvel seems to refuse to do that and prefer to portray him as the bad guy instead the dad guy who he really is and what we all actually want to see.
>>That's so sweet of you. Thank you so much Nonny <3 And yes I agree Hank really should have a child! It's a shame that he still doesn't has one in the comics... I would love to see some dad Hank in canon I would so make a rp blog for this kid of his!
Dad guy Hank instead of bad guy Hank for Marvel! ✊<<

Maggie gave him a little smile. "I'm glad you like it," she said quietly. She was very relieved that she had found the right gift for him, even though she barely knew him. Of course she was aware that the thought alone was what counted, but it was still nicer if the recipient actually liked what they got.
Of course, Maggie could have taken the easy way out and just tried to read his mind, but she thought it would be rude to simply snoop into someone else's mind.
"Uhm… I also got some cake, it's downstairs in the kitchen if you want… But I didn't know how old you'd be so I just put a random number of candles on it…"

It had been almost a week since Maggie found out about Finn's birthday. Well 'found out' more or less. It wasn't like she did it on purpose, but sometimes the people's voices got so loud that her shield just failed and she couldn't really block out the voices anymore.
That's what happened with Finn, who had been thinking more often about this coming day lately.
Maggie was aware of the fact that they hadn't known each other that long or that well and if she was honest, she had no idea what to get him. Of course she could have tried to read it, but she still had respect for the privacy of others and there was nothing more private than the own thoughts. So Maggie had to guess. But in the end it's the thought that counts after all.
Slowly Maggie approched Finn, as she cleared her throat to get his attention before she handed him a box of pralines with a pendant that could be put on a necklace, bracelet or key chain, depending on what he preferred. Beside this, was a card that said 'Happy Birthday'. "I... uh... kinda found out it's your birthday. I know it's not much and I don't even know if you like chocolate but happy birthday anyway."
An exhausted Hank comes home, his nerves at his wits' end.
Baby Maggie: *points at him with the brightest and happiest baby smile that ever existed and makes little squealing sounds* Dada! :) *makes little grabby hands while still squealing happily to tell him to pick her up cause she wants to cuddle*
Hank: *instant nerve and energy boost*

... But don't tell him...
Long or short threads?
>>Actually both. I think both can be really fun and short threads are really nice to have for when you're really busy and don't have much time but still want to write. What I also like about them is that you don't have to plot them beforehand. For longer threads I usaully tend to plot first and also during the thread. It happens very rarely that I write longer threads with no plotting at all. What I also like to do is to write something short and save it to turn it into a longer thread or to use shorter threads to write the inbetween stuff that happened during time jumps in bigger threads.<<

"I should be embarrassed and annoyed... But this is just too funny..." Maggie snorted, not even the least bit ashamed that she found this joke funny. What can you say? She was a fan of corny jokes that made everyone else just roll their eyes or wish the ground would open and swallow them up.
