I Have Been In Bed, On My Phone For Two Hours.

I have been in bed, on my phone for two hours.

I hunger, but I don't wanna get up...

I have ta shower, too.

And I gotta work on my WIP because the next chapter is supposed to go up tomorrow or Saturday...

Sigh

My cat has been dead asleep on my lap for the better part of two hours now.

I have no excuse to move this time (I had to earlier because I was in pain and losing feeling in my legs)

I'm stuck until she decides to move.

You thought I'd leave it at a meet-cute?

I love my job, but I'm starting to not like my bosses.

(We have 5: Manager E, Manager R, Manager L, Manager A, and Manager C. Manager R is the highest up)

Manager R sent out an email yesterday morning that said, "...I'm taking five people off of the Thursday [REDACTED FOR MY SAFETY] shift. Go to Manager C with any questions."

Not asking, not explaining, just taking me and four others off for tomorrow's shift.

(I don't think he realizes that this is my only job, and therefore the only money I make)

(I'm working on getting a second one, don't worry)

A few hours after that email went out, he sent out another email saying that there were call offs for the Thursday shift and that he needed some people to cover.

Wtf!

What the actual fuck.

My mom asked if I was gonna take it and I said "No". He took me off with no warning or questions asked, so I'm not gonna take that shift back.

Am I losing money? Yeah. Is it petty? As fuck.

I'm tired of these guys thinking they can do whatever they want with my time.

Sure, they're the ones in charge, they're the ones signing my paycheck, but this is bullshit.

Not to dive into the other problems!

God, I need another job

I'mma do a thing that I shouldn't do.

Like, this is the WIP I started specifically so I could procrastinate it.

You know what I'm gonna do?

I'm not gonna work on the WIP that I should work on. Instead, I'm gonna work on this WIP.

In other news, some of y'all are gonna hate me by the end of the week.

I use pet names for everyone. Like, indiscriminately.

It's all affectionate, don't worry.

I use them all gender neutrally, too. So ones that most people associate with a certain gender or something, I use for everyone
