Purple Flower
Since there was a sale I decided to grab some watercolour brushes too. Followed Bardot’s short tutorial to get a sense of how they work.
Tomato Soup

I remember being quite bored with all the soups my mom made, then, once I was on my own I noticed how many soups I ended up making 😊
Most of the time I don’t really follow a strict recipe, although for this tomato one I use a Bobby Flay recipe I found online ages ago. The only real change is that I use an immersion blender, it saves a lot of cleaning.

Needed a lot of tomatoes so grabbed some from Costco. After some roasting I finished off the recipe on the stove, blended everything and it was ready to serve.

Easter Sunday Lunch
Decided on slow cooked lamb shanks in Guinness and purée for Easter lunch.

A bit of prep and then into the slow cooker, looks impressive, but not that much effort. The best kind of lunch 😊

Chopping the onions trying not to cry too much 😊

Browning the lamb shanks.

Into the slow cooker and ready to ‘walk away’.

A Beginner’s Journey in Digital Art
Like a lot of people starting out with Procreate and digital art, I went to the source. Even though the Procreate tutorial is pretty easy and short, I still had to get used to following the instructions that went by quite fast. I haven’t memorized all the brushes yet and still have to pause quite often trying to find them, still, it will get easier with time and practice.
While not exact to the tutorial, it’s recognizable 😊

Ferry Doodles - More Flowers
No wifi on the ferry, this time I consciously tried to remember what I did on the watercolour tutorial and recreate it from memory. Shrug, could have been worse 😊
Used the Bardot watercolour brushes.
