This was a birthday gift for my friend and fellow cartoonist @jfmstudios! He wanted to see my attempt at drawing his character, Jane Cathaway, from his webcomic Jeff and Taylor. This was a little hard, as I’ve never drawn characters with braces before, but I think I pulled it off okay. I also attempted a more in-depth type of shading for this pic. Birthday in five days!

Hey, guys! Just to let you all know, it is five days until September 10, when I turn 21 and will finally be able to drink!

(Though to be honest, alcohol is gross to me and I’m only excited because it means that I will never not be let into another club again, LOL.)

But yeah, I’m looking forward to it! :D This is a pretty big turning point in my life, I didn’t think I’d make it this far.

This was a submission for another OuterGrounds Studios art showcase. The theme of this one was “autumn,” so I drew a new character enjoying her time outside in the chilly autumn weather. I’m personally really proud of my coloring and shading on this one. Hope you all enjoy it!

For the record, this girl is going to be a recurring character in Eight-Layer Inferno.
