A comment on the recent chapter I posted for my AU made me feel so seen, I guess is the way to say it

I am quite obviously neurodivergent (diagnosed inattentive ADHD), so I accidentally put a lot of myself into Aym while writing. He had basically a panic attack + overstimulated melt down. Someone in the comments pointed out that it was a panic attack and I was like "whoa, wait, he had basically what I did that one time"

Story is I went to the newly opened aquarium in my area (this was around 2021-2022 I think) with my family who were in from out of town. Thing about me is that I hate aquariums. Aquatic animals freak me out so I was already on edge. Then we went into the ray petting room + bird area. I have trauma relating to birds so I was even more on edge. There were a lot of people in there so it was loud and echoing off of the walls + the sound of the birds made me overstimulated and I spiraled into a panic attack.

Aym had something similar, but, yunno, he was in a new place and thought the people he loved weren't around so he was freaking out.

So now I'm putting more and more of myself into him ughhh I didn't mean to but now he's my favorite blorbo. Thank you, Ao3 commenter, for helping me realize that

I’m so tired of every show that takes place in the past (wild west, medieval, pirates etc) ALWAYS having so much sexual violence towards women like writers can cry “oh it’s realism” all you want but it’s very transparent how realism only applies when you want to hurt women on screen. If we’re talking staying realistic, why doesn’t everyone have brown teeth? Or bad skin? Or dying of dysentery? Just admit y'all want an excuse to brutalize women on screen lol

More warriors OC revamps!

I've talked about these siblings in the Fallenbranch post, so let's just talk about design changed

I kept Amberfeather very spikey and gave her the same ear fluff as Fallenbranch. It makes her look bigger despite how skinny she is. I also tried to pull a lot of her older sister One-Foot into her design to pull parallels between them

The most I did to Snake was add his scars. He looks generally the same aside from the fact that I thinned out his tail

Fluffypelt got the ear fluff treatment too.

I made his eyebrows little circles because I did that on his old design but not very well. I also made him skinnier than his siblings and gave him a thin tail like Snake. I also gave him a little scar. I'll bet his gf thinks it makes him handsome and he brags about it

I really just gave her a scar on her shoulder and tried to make her look as much like her mom as I could (at least, what I plan on her mom looking like)

Lark and Spot got to have the same color pallette because they were essentially twins when kittens and then Spot fluffed out

I gave her a little scar and thinned out her tail. Now she just looks adorable like she should ❤️

Just a reminder.....Skynet became self aware this morning.
