I will never forgive the marauders for dying tbh. Like no.

The marauders fandom is so funny, because one minute we’re gushing over beautifully written fan-fiction, analysing characters and creating meaningful fan-art.

And the next, we’re laughing because we’ve decided James would’ve worn Lightning McQueen crocs.

Like the duality of our fandom will never not be hilarious to me. It’s equally intellectual and insane.

Our dark sense of humour, creativity and inclusivity, doubled with the fact we purposefully make ourselves sad, reuse the same jokes (that are still funny), and just decide to change canon because we don’t care about it. Like 90% of the fandom is fan-made, you can hardly connect to it HP at all anymore.

I just think it’s beautiful but also fucking funny.

(I’m not saying it’s perfect, there’s still issues and toxicity. But generally, the way we ignore canon means we mostly try and give everyone the representation they deserve.) I think it’s cool <3
