YEEES, RIZ!! That Gun!! That SMIRK!!!! Forget "private investigator", he looks like a full on "secret agent" (just like Papa Pok Gukgak..). Can't wait to see my fave again!

And Adaine looks soo different from her first picture! Here she is SMILING and looking like a badass caster in her jacket and with her hair all windswept!

Fabian is looking as smug as ever, but now with an eyepatch (and friends!!)

Poor Gorgug still looks anxious, but I think that's just his natural state, at least he his surrounded by his first group of friends. The white hair streak looks so cool! And the GIANT AXE!!

Fig and Kristen have changed the least looks-wise.

Fig is still looking fierce and gorgeous, ready to kick ass and start chaos wherever she goes.

Kristen looks like she's wearing a different tie-dye shirt (which is on brand for her - at least this one doesn't beling to a religious cult summercamp...) and she has her eyes open, which is nice, now I finally know that her eyes are brown. She also looks happier, or at least much more free.

I can't wait, I love these kids so much!

I am all aboard the Shadowgast hype train BELIEVE ME. But I feel like we’re all missing out on an absolute GOLD MINE of potential canon hilarity and that is: 

Caduceus and Essek interacting more.

Essek: long, detailed explanation of gravity, dunamancy, and how magic that bends the fabric of the world and the nature of the universe is dangeorus, and should be treated with great caution.  Cad, who has absolutely Not been listening: hey, did you know there’s a type of moss that smells like decay but tastes like strawberries?  Essek: *does not know what to do with this* 

Caduceus: *wordlessly hands Essek a large bowl of stew the next time he comes to the Xhorhaus*  Essek: Thank you, but I did not ask for anything to eat?  Cad: I just figured you were looking kinda peaky. Don’t work too hard now, Mister Shadowhand. And eat that while it’s still hot.  Essek: *does not know wha to do with this*

Essek, desperate to have one (1) normal conversation with Caduceus: This herbal tea is very refreshing, thank you. Cad: Oh yeah, that’s from the Mason’s. They were all brutally murdered about fifty years ago because of some really unpopular political decisions. They make really good tea, though. Cad: says one of those really deep, really profound things that he comes away with every now and then  Essek: *does not know what to do with this*

JUST. GIVE ME CADUCEUS JUST EXISTING IN GENERAL AND ESSEK CONSTANTLY BEING FLUMMOXED BY HIM AND JUST HAVING NO IDEA HOW TO HANDLE THIS GIANT COW MAN. 

Especially bc Cad is doing this deliberately bc he feels Essek should have his feathers ruffled every now and then. It’s good for him.

It feels like Riz is pining SO HARD for Fabian and Fabian is just completely oblivious and while I love it because yes angsty pining, it hurts so much and I just want the boys to be happy together

oh high school era fabriz in canon is just COMPLETELY unrequited. with their combined self awareness?? riz gukgak is saving half of a “best friend” necklace for fabian 8 months before it is possible to give to him and still hasnt realized its a Gay Thing. fabian seacaster is so touch starved he gets shivers thinking about kissing a girl. RIZ doesnt even realize riz likes fabian until junior year, fabian is SO FAR AWAY from even realizing that riz is a person who can HAVE ROMANTIC INTERESTS. why do you think i set st judas 10 years after the original series. theyre Idiots and riz is listening to unrequited lovesongs and staring dramatically out the bus windows
