I pretty much just post about what I‘m watching or reading at the moment, right now it’s the umbrella academy but sooner or later it‘ll probably be good omens or dr who again

Yes. This. Also no one forced Diego and Lila not to change their situation. When I saw them living their life unhappily I was just waiting for them to fix things, because why?? Of course they have kids now but I never once considered that that would mean they would quit their assassin life’s. They could be great parents while still murdering people.
Badass assassin Lila turns out to hate the domestic life with Diego, but is more than happy to be Five's little cottagecore wife? I hate these writers...

Another thought about season 4 of tua. I love Klaus and I only wish the best for him and I feel like being sober should come with something positive for him. I know he’s insanely careful now because he‘s mortal and cares about his life now. But whyyy why is he sooo sad. I can’t watch it, it breaks my heart. I just want my baby to be happy. Please. Is that too much to ask?
Spoilers tua season 4
Five and Lila make an iconic duo but not an iconic couple. It’s been Diego and Lila and they belong together and I get it, it‘s just been the two of them for seven years and Aidan Gallagher is really hot this season, but still… Five would never just give up on his family. Not like this.
idk who needs to hear this but just bc it's ending doesn't mean it never happened !!!! wonderful memories are not simply undone because the person is no longer in your life. it counts for something. and it's okay to look back with fondness bc that was still time invested no matter what

slightly weird looking title sequence crowley is now in their natural habitat

in the most luxurious house plant I had to offer
my friend is watching doctor who for the first time and live tweeting her reactions to me. so here’s a thread of the highlights:
starting off strong, within the first 5 minutes of s1e1

Turned out a bit more dramatic than the actual scene, he looks like he already knows what’s to come

I interpret the coffee shop scene in S2 Ep 1 a bit differently than what I’ve read.
I don’t see jealousy at all.

This seems like a surprised reaction from Crowley. (Astonishment maybe?) Aziraphale got called out by Nina, and is clearly uncomfortable. Crowley could tell.
So later in their conversation, he teases Aziraphale, questioning why they aren’t in the bookshop.

But Crowley only wants to help Aziraphale. He knows the “something’s wrong” voice, is concerned and wants to find out what has upset Aziraphale.
When they go back to the bookshop, they’re in “us” mode, and Crowley casually holds the plate of eccles cakes while Aziraphale unlocks the shop. No signs of jealousy.

Once they enter the shop, Crowley tells Aziraphale that something a bit weird is going on with his old lot. No mention of a naked man. Our favorite demon is confused when Aziraphale says he might have an idea of what’s going in and calls for Jim.

Side note: How adorable is this? ❤️
I don’t think jealousy is even on the agenda. Aziraphale and Crowley know each other. They trust each other. It doesn’t even seem like it would cross either of their minds that anyone could interfere with the bond they have. Everyone else is in the periphery. It’s always just them. The group of the two of them.

Rose wearing Ten’s coat

I have such a weak spot for men crying, all you have to do to make me love a male character is show them emotionally vulnerable and immediately he’s my new obsession. Bonus point if it’s a Character played by David Tennant.

Just to recap, Klaus decided to get sober,

had war flashbacks and relived finding his dead boyfriend

then died and met god probably for the first time

learned that his dad killed himself, all in one day

And after telling his siblings that their dad rather killed himself so they could investigate a murder mystery instead of trying to give them a call, what does our silly baby do?

he bonked his silly head on da floor...

I really miss Viktor playing the Violin. This was such a big part of his personality in season one and later in the show his power got more and more turned into just shooting energy waves at people. Maybe there’s way more to it that he hasn’t discovered yet but he would if he would start his music again. Like imagine him composing a whole concert, imagine what he could do with that…

I mean Diego and Lila are my favorite tua couple ever but like look at these two…

my wife and her girlfriend

How am I only noticing the obvious bondage stuff here on my third rewatch??? God I love Lila and Diego

I‘ve gotta be honest, I was just looking at Klaus ass in this scene

Like thank costume department for putting him in these trousers

Oh my god and they‘re velvet

(Almost) all of Klaus dance moves to footloose

Do you ever think about how Aziraphale maybe didn’t choose Heaven over Crowley or heaven to make it better but maybe he knew he didn’t have a choice when the Metatron offered him the coffee or death (yk because it’s called give me coffee or give me death) and Aziraphale knew he had to take the coffee (meaning the Metatrons offer) or else it would mean death and the Metatron even asks Nina if anyone ever chooses death…
#dw #I have goosebumps now
Me, on a new date: Hey, have you ever thought about the fact that there are plenty of planets where "the Doctor" doesn't refer to the Time Lord carrying around the sonic screwdriver, but rather to the young women who swing through their lives and ask their names and demand answers and sacrifice themselves, to the young men who start off unsure and second-fiddle but bring a kindness, a loyalty, with them and end up finding their own voices and their own purpose? Do you ever think about the role that myth plays in Doctor Who, how so many companion exits and finales take on the role of storytelling, about how companions become gods and immortals and walk the entire dystopian earth and wait two thousand years and be the cause of every Cyberman's single tear and wrench the Doctor back into the universe and carry the story off of screen with them, that they birth myths in their wake, that Doctor Who finales so often leave science-fiction behind them and become mythology itself, when these humans insert themselves into the mythology of the Doctor only to usurp him, that they make themselves the Bad Wolf and Orpheus and the Woman Who Walked the Earth and the Doctor Donna and the Last Centurion and the Girl Who Saw the Stars and most of all, they become the Doctor themself, that the Doctor's story goes nowhere if Rose doesn't save him on Satellite Five or Amy doesn't pull him back into existence or Martha doesn't walk the entire hell-earth to restore him or Clara doesn't make him forget her or Jack doesn't sacrifice himself to stop the Daleks or Bill doesn't carry him away from the Cybermen or Donna doesn't stop him from drowning himself with the Racnoss or Yaz doesn't pilot the TARDIS or River Song sacrifices herself at the library or Sarah Jane and Mickey don't help restore the earth back to its place in the sky and that the Doctor is only a myth with so many stories to their name because their companions make it so-
My date, sliding the breadsticks out of their purse back onto the table, hopelessly intrigued: Go on...
#dw #pretty on point #love the doctor
doctor who companions will go "he's the most incredible man i've ever met... he's like fire; bright, brilliant, and burning whatever gets too close." and then the camera turns and it's Some Guy eating sand
#I have a project to finish #I really don’t want to
