I keep seeing people do these Art vs Hero things so I decided hey, why don’t I do one? Calling out @enjoliquej, @cielarose, @nesskain, @pascalcampion, @sharkie-19, @jasonthielke, @tycarterart, and @snarkies for being my art heroes! :3 Or at least some of them... Towards the end I really had trouble picking. XD; At first I was like ‘ehh I don’t have too many art heroes except my friends....’ but as I kept going, I found I had a lot of them, more than I could list on one art vs hero meme for sure. XD;

So I’m probably overreacting to this picture but I drew a reaction picture to it just cause. ...Maybe this doesn’t make much sense I might need to explain a bit XD;; (read left to right/top to bottom) Phyrne: blush Ollinder: embarrassed smile (thinking: Ahh, I wish Phyrne would hold hands with me like that...) Was reading back over old RPs the other day. I wonder what ever happened to these two.  Ollinder and Phyrne @kazeharuhime

@paigecofferillustration So @enjoliquej introduced me to this Draw This In Your Style challenge and she was right about one thing, this char is definitely my aesthetic. Kinda a scrubby paint thing I tried to neaten it up a bit, but it’s still pretty scrubby... Maybe I’ll come back to it later and touch it up again, I don’t know >.e I’m about ready to be done with it though. Probably ain’t gonna win any awards for this piece of work, but it was a really nice study in color theory and how these things worked together~ Twas fun!

Some more phone doodles! Mostly life sketches. The view from the glass door near my desk, a view outside of the hedges obscuring my neighbor’s house, a sky from the deck, the back of one of my friends at church (she always looks so fab, I have another one of her somewhere too XD), then another more sunset-y sky (looks kinda badly done lol). The one of my cat was from memory. Was on vacation these past two weeks and I missed him. 3X Then a character, who shall remain nameless for now. XD; Aaand the other one is a life sketch of a painting that was on the wall in my grandmother’s computer room. XD; And that’s all of them~ Really oughta touch up that one of the character, her mouth/nose area was tricky to do with finger painting. XD;

Mermay #01 - Owlmer A little late in starting this... not super late, but later than I’d have liked. XP Welp, @niwawings15 gave a suggestion about an owlmer and after wondering about the legitimacy of a ‘mer’ that isn’t even partly humanoid, I kinda just went for it XD; Has to be one of the weirdest (and most likely biologically improbable) things I’ve drawn and posted publicly in a while XD;; And welp... I dunno if I’m gonna do the full 31 day Mermay run this year, but we’ll see what happens. Here’s the first. XP
