Mermay #01 - Owlmer A little late in starting this... not super late, but later than I’d have liked. XP Welp, @niwawings15 gave a suggestion about an owlmer and after wondering about the legitimacy of a ‘mer’ that isn’t even partly humanoid, I kinda just went for it XD; Has to be one of the weirdest (and most likely biologically improbable) things I’ve drawn and posted publicly in a while XD;; And welp... I dunno if I’m gonna do the full 31 day Mermay run this year, but we’ll see what happens. Here’s the first. XP

Aaand here’s another one. I thought my inspiration from the prompts had finally run dry, but noope. I’ve also discovered how great Kyle Webster’s brushes are. I’ve had them for ages but never used them until I started picking ones at random to see what they’d do and I’ve discovered I love his free watercolor and pen brushes XD Course that kinda caused me to pretty thoroughly digitalize what was supposed to be a ~mostly~ trad drawing, but I didn’t feel like potentially messing it up with real markers so I decided to try to noodle on color digitally after I’d fixed it up and one thing led to another and yeah... XD; So I decided to upload the ink-only-with-some-editing version just to prove that yes, there is an ink drawing under all that digital paint XD;; Anyways um... so this here’s an OC from Torn Apart. Can’t really say who she is at the moment but those that are familiar with the story may or may not know. XD; I figured the prompt “Cerulean/Ball Gown/Fantasy” would fit her really well so I put away my Margo-lookalike sleuth for now and decided to break out a favorite of mine for this one. XD

I keep seeing people do these Art vs Hero things so I decided hey, why don’t I do one? Calling out @enjoliquej, @cielarose, @nesskain, @pascalcampion, @sharkie-19, @jasonthielke, @tycarterart, and @snarkies for being my art heroes! :3 Or at least some of them... Towards the end I really had trouble picking. XD; At first I was like ‘ehh I don’t have too many art heroes except my friends....’ but as I kept going, I found I had a lot of them, more than I could list on one art vs hero meme for sure. XD;

JuneFae #2 - Water Faerie Probably went a little overboard with this one... spent almost all day on it! XD; Or well not really... but anyways. XD; I was concerned at first she looked too much like a rain faerie with the droplets, but... I guess I’ll see what happens. It got to that stage though where I just kept brushing and brushing so I just decided I oughta submit this before it gets to be like midnight. XD; Should probably loosen up and do more quick ones though.. I mean, the sketch was quick but then I thought mmm this seems incomplete and welp here I am hours later. XD; Anyways... yay more faeries~~! XD;
