Requested - @large-unit ~ Hi uh can you do 142 with Tony Stark please?? xx

Prompts - 142 - Anything you draw/write on your own skin appears on your soulmate’s.

You’d known from a young age that your soulmate was smart, whilst other kids had messy scribbles and doodles you could barely make out, you had mathematical equations that you couldn’t figure out if your life depended on it.

When you hit your teen years you’d decided that your soul mate was a literal genius, possibly one of the smartest minds out there. There were advantages to this, like they would help you with homework you didn’t quite understand and they would explain things in terms you understood without making you feel like an idiot. You weren’t stupid by an means but compared to your soulmate, well you didn’t know quite as much.

For as long as anyone could remember people had soulmates. Sometimes they had them at an early age but many people didn’t start getting the drawings or writing well into adulthood. You’re soulmate had been around for most of your life, when you were a kid you remembered seeing a drawing of a car on the inside of your arm and freaking out until soulmates were explained to you. There were a few things that the other couldn’t see though and that was names, age and location.

You were fresh out of college with a few degrees under your belt and trying to find a job. It was stressful, everywhere you went seemed to have ridiculously high standards and as someone with limited work experience, a few waitress gigs to help pay for your schooling, it was impossible to get a job. One day however you woke up to a text from a long time friend of yours who knew a lot of people in high places and had managed to secure you a job interview for Stark Industries. You were understandably nervous as you sat outside waiting to talk to the interviewer, this was Stark Industries they were never going to hire you!

“Miss Y/L/N, meeting room 4 please.” You followed her directions and knocked on the door before walking in and freezing in your place. Pepper Potts sat behind a desk with Tony Stark sitting opposite her, a bored look on his face and paper work laid out messily in front of him.

“Ah, Miss Y/L/N. Please take a seat.” You did as Pepper instructed, after shaking her hand, and nervously played with the hem of your jacket.

“So, you’re aware that this job would be time consuming? Researching and testing the latest Stark equipment, getting it ready for marketing and developing the technology.” You nodded as she listed the things you’d be required to do, thanking God your friend briefed you thoroughly.

“Good. Now I can see you have graduated from college with the right qualifications needed for the job, the only limitations I can see is your lack of work experience-”

“But everyone needs to start somewhere right? And what better place than Stark Industries were all training is given to you and we actually look after our employees.” Tony said, abruptly cutting Pepper off. You could tell by the expression on her face she was used to this behaviour.

You turned to look at Tony and couldn’t help the shy smile that made its way onto your face, for some reason this man was putting some faith into you.

“Exactly. Your grades are impressive, Miss Y/L/N. Obviously we’d have to do a trial run first to see if you can handle the high pressure intensity of the job but if you show that you’re capable then we can discuss a permanent placement here for you.” You just barely managed to suppress the grin that wanted so desperately to make its way onto your face, nodding professionally and thanking them both profusely for the opportunity they were giving you.

‘I just got a job working at one of the best tech places!’ You told your soulmate the second you got home. Sometimes it was hard to find space on your body because he had so many random notes and reminders written on himself.

Some included, ‘talk to the kid about upgrades’, ‘visit strange’, ‘pick the kid up’ and a few too many complicated sums that you only vaguely understood.

‘Of course you did, you’re a genius!’

‘Please, you walk into the room and just know you’re the smartest person there.’

‘Well yeah, that’s true. Well done on getting the job! I knew you could do it baby!xx’

You blushed, you’d never met the person and yet whenever they referred to you with a pet name or got a bit romantic it felt like you were a high school kid with a crush.

‘Thank you x.’

“I think I just met my soulmate.”

“I’m sorry could you repeat that?” Stephen asked, brow raised questioningly.

“I think I just met my soulmate.” Tony repeated again, his own brows knitted together and face looking alarmingly pale.

“Perhaps you should sit down, I’ll get some tea and you can tell me what happened.” Stephen gently grabbed Tony’s elbow and guided him into the sit before leaving the room, returning moments later with two cups of tea.

“You think you met your soulmate?” Stephen prompted after they’d been sat in silence for a few minutes. Stephen’s voice jolted Tony out of his head and he began nodding.

“Yeah! I was sat in one of the meeting rooms with Pepper because she was interviewing a girl for this new position that opened up at Stark Industries, right? So this girl come into the room and God she was so cute and she plays with the hem of her jacket when she’s nervous. Anyway she sits down and her sleeves are rolled up a bit and I can see some notes and scribbles that I thought looked familiar and then I realised they were the numbers for this new piece of tech I was working on and the only way she could have them on her is if…” Here he trailed off, eyes going distant again.

“Is if she was your soulmate?” Stephen asked, voice soft as he looked at his friend.

“Yeah.” Tony responded with a sigh.

“Isn’t this a good thing? I mean you’ve found your soulmate, most people don’t get that. They’re just stuck with writing on their own skin but you’ve found her.”

“It is a good thing but, but Stephen you know me! Every relationship I’ve had, I screwed it up! This is my soulmate and I don’t wanna screw that up.” Stephen frowned, he knew Tony was getting better at not blaming himself for everything but this was a big deal and he couldn’t blame Tony for reverting back to old ways.

“Tony, you didn’t screw anything up. You and Pepper weren’t meant to be and that’s ok because look at you now. You and Steve, well you already know what I think of that and it wasn’t your fault that didn’t work out. You weren’t his soulmate and he wasn’t yours. This though, this will work. I promise.” Tony looked up at Stephen, his eyes glazed over suspiciously but Stephen didn’t call attention to it.

“You’re right. Of course you’re right. Sorry for bothering you with this stuff it’s just..”

“I get it Tony,” Stephen said, cutting him off before he could fall further down the hole of blaming himself for things that were not this fault, “you know I’ll always be around for you to talk to.”

It was your first day at Stark Industries and to say you were nervous would be the biggest understatement of the century.

You’d woken up extra early and had so much extra time that you ended up pacing and thinking of the worst possible scenarios that could occur today. Thankfully your soulmate wrote to you half an hour or so before you had to leave.

‘Hey, knowing you you’re probably a pile of nerves right now so just know that you got this baby girl!’

The grin that appeared on your face was unstoppable, you stood looking at your arm for a good few minutes with a love sick grin before shaking yourself and looking around to find a pen.

‘Oh how well you know me. I hope you’re right, I really don’t wanna mess this up.’

‘You won’t. You’re gonna blow ‘em all away.’

You spent some more time talking to them before you needed to head out to your Uber.

The journey was over far too quickly for your liking and you found yourself stood outside the door of the labs, fidgeting with your hands before taking a deep breath and nodding to yourself.

“Hey, Y/N, right?” Someone said from behind you causing you to jump. “Sorry, didn’t mean to scare you.”

Your eyes widened as you saw Tony stood behind you, watching you with a raised brow and amused eyes.

“It’s fine, my fault for zoning out. Just first day nerves and all. Yes, it’s Y/N. Nice to see you again Mr Stark.” You were aware you were talking faster than usual but like you said, first day nerves and all that.

“You too and please call me Tony.” He told you with a charming smile that made your heart skip a beat before he walked past you, opening the door to the lab and gesturing for you to follow him.

The lab was insane. You didn’t know what you had been expecting but it wasn’t this, everything seemed so futuristic and slightly daunting when you realised you’d have to operate these machines.

“State of the art lab. Pretty cool right and everything in here is made so it doesn’t harm the environment because listen no matter what Trump says global warming’s a serious issue. In fact I have some plans somewhere if you’re interested later.” Your eyes were taking in the lab but focused in on Tony once he began speaking.

“Yeah that would be amazing. Your lab is incredible!” You gushed slightly, Tony couldn’t help but stop and smile at your expression - the description of someone looking like a kid in a candy store had never applied to someone more than it did you at this moment in time.

“Thanks but this isn’t mine, mines on a completely different floor. This lab’s yours.” He laughed as your eyes widened in disbelief.

“I’m sorry, what?” This lab was yours?

“Well if you’re going to be working here then you need a lab and this one is beautiful, such a shame nobody is utilising all its potential.” Tony told you sadly causing you to roll your eyes and laugh, you felt comfortable around the man which confused you but you decided not to focus on that right now.

“Come on, this stuff’s pretty easy to use once you get the hang of it. I’ll show you.” With that the two of you got to work.

“Sir, I hate to interrupt but Peter Parker is here to see you.” You jumped when a new voice cut through the consistent chatter between you and Tony.

“Sorry that’s just J.A.R.V.I.S. He’s my A.I, made him myself. What time is it J?” You couldn’t help but smile at the look Tony got in his eyes when talking about his A.I. You couldn’t blame him though, that was ridiculously cool and you had no doubt it was more advanced than any A.I you’d experienced.

“It is 7:47 PM, sir. I’ve sent Mr Parker up to your floor.” J.A.R.V.I.S. informed him.

“Right, thanks J.A.R.V.I.S. Um, do you want to stay for dinner? I mean we missed lunch so it’s the least it can do.” You smiled as you watched him fidget with his hands as he nervously looked up at you.

“Sure, I’d love to stay.” You realised that it was probably completely inappropriate to have dinner with your boss, on the first day no less, but you figured if there was somebody else there then no harm.

“Great!” He exclaimed before clearing his throat and repeating it again at a normal tone.

-

-

-

“Are you ever going to tell Y/N that she’s your soulmate? Seriously Mr Stark, she’s great! You have to tell her! I can tell her if you want!” Peter had been persistent for weeks that Tony tell you he knew but Tony was terrified.

“Pete, kid,  I told you I’ll tell her when the times right.” Peter threw his head back against the head rest and let out a long, suffering groan before turning to look Tony in the eyes.

“Mr Stark does she make you happy?” He asked.

“Of course she does!”

“Well imagine how happy you can make each other when you both know you’re soulmates! Please Mr Stark, I just want you to be happy. If anyone deserves it, well, it’s you.” Tony’s features softened instantly at Peter’s words and a small smile appeared on his face.

“Alright I’ll tell you what, I’ll call her now-”

“You can’t tell her on the phone!” Peter interrupted with a shout causing Tony to laugh.

“I’ll call her now and invite her out for dinner tonight and if it goes well then I’ll tell her. I promise.” Tony swore, a grin on his face as he saw how excited Peter looked. He was still unbelievably nervous even though he knew deep down it’d be fine, you two had great chemistry both in person and whilst writing to one another.

“You can do it Mr Stark.”

-

-

-

“So, why the dinner?” You’d asked during dessert.

The meal had been enjoyable, as was most of the time you spent with Tony both during work hours and in your free time. You had been guilty for so long, feeling like you were betraying your soulmate when you started to develop feelings for Tony but you knew as long as you didn’t act on them then you were technically not doing anything wrong. Lots of people dated people who weren’t their soulmates, there was nothing wrong with it.

“Well actually there’s something I’ve been meaning to tell you for a while now. I didn’t really know how to but Peter said I just had to rip the band aid off and everything would be ok, so if this goes wrong I’m totally blaming the kid.” He told you with a nervous laugh.

“Is everything ok, Tony?” You asked, concern prominent in your voice.

“Yeah, yeah, everything's fine, right here it goes. When we first met I saw the writing on your arms because your sleeves were rolled up a small bit. Anyway the equations that were on your arms were for a new Iron Man suit and the only person who knew the math and science behind it was the other person who’d originally wrote it on their arm and basically-”

“You’re my soulmate?” You asked, cutting him off without meaning to but he was rambling and it had clicked in your head.

“Um, yeah, yeah that, that’s what I was getting at.” Tony stuttered out, nervous as he couldn’t figure out how you were feeling about the news. Surely it wasn’t that bad right, he wasn’t that bad.

“Thank God, I was feeling so bad about liking you but you’re my soulmate!” You exclaimed, a wide smile taking over your face. Tony couldn’t help but grin back as he saw how happy you looked, he didn’t quite believe you could be that happy to find out he was your soulmate but he wasn’t complaining.

“You really like me?”

“Of course I do. You know for a genius you really are an idiot.” You laughed.

“I never claimed to be otherwise. So I guess, god I feel way too old to be asking someone this, but will you be my girlfriend, baby?” He asked with a smirk causing you to roll your eyes, the smile never leaving your face.

“Of course I will, soulmate.” With that he leaned across the table and finally, finally, kissed you.

It was like fireworks.

“Come here.” Tony said as he pulled Peter closer to him and started to retie the poorly tied tie.

“Mr Stark!” He complained, fidgeting as he did but Tony just shushed him and got to work.

“I can’t believe you’re getting married.” Peter exclaimed once he was done.

“Trust me kid, I can’t believe it either.” Tony had finally popped the question to you, three years into dating. In all honesty you weren’t sure he ever would but that would have been ok because you loved him and you knew he loved you. You’d cried so many happy tears when he asked you to marry him in the same cute little restaurant he asked you out at.

Pepper and you had become really close once you started dating Tony and she was now one of you bridesmaids and had played a large part in helping you plan the wedding. Tony had taken more interest in the planning than you expected him too and now the day was here.

Tony had managed to make sure the press would be kept out, the wedding was going to be a small one, close friends and family only. You’re family were already sat outside waiting for the ceremony to start as were your friends, Tony invited people he trusted, people he could call friends. Natasha was there as was Bruce, Thor, May, Nick, Maria Hill and a few more. Happy, Stephen, Rhodey and Peter were his best men.

“You look beautiful.” Your friend told you as you looked at yourself in the mirror, fingers running along the dress gently.

“Thank you,” you said, feeling choked up already, “I feel amazing.” You told them.

“Let’s get you married then.”

‘Ready for this, baby girl?’

“Seriously, does he have to write on himself now?” Pepper laughed causing you to look at you arm. You rolled your eyes but asked for a pen.

‘Ready as I’ll ever be! God, I can’t wait to be Y/F/N Stark. See you out there gorgeous.’

-

-

“So Mrs Stark?” Tony asked playfully as he held your hand, thumb running soothingly over the skin.

“What?” You snapped.

“Glad I’m your soulmate?”

“I hate you so much, fuck!” You yelled as you were told to push again.

“God, Stark I am so divorcing you after this.”

“Love you too baby girl. Come on, he’s nearly here.” Tony told you, he continued to whispered words of comfort and encouragement to you as you delivered the baby. You went into labour three weeks before your due date and Happy had barely got you to the hospital in time.

“He’s here. A healthy baby boy.” You watched as they took him away to clean him up before putting him in Tony’s arms, you couldn’t help but smile as you watched Tony’s eyes fill with tears of joy.

“You ready to go again?” The nurse asked you, causing you to lose the smile and now groan.

“Tony, baby, do it for me?” You pleaded tiredly, tears stinging your own eyes.

“I would if I could, baby girl, I would.” He told you before going back to comforting you, whilst bouncing your son.

“And here’s baby number two.” The nurse told you. They cleaned the second baby up before placing her carefully in your arms.

“They are perfect.” You told Tony as you looked at the babies before you. You were exhausted but you didn’t want them to leave your sight.

“You’re perfect baby. I’m so proud of you.” Tony told you before placing a soft kiss upon your lips.

“So, any ideas for names?” The nurse asked.

“Morgan for the girl and Y/S/N for the boy.” You said, looking at Tony for confirmation, he nodded happily.

‘Please don’t forget to pick the kids up from school, Stark.’

‘Mrs Stark, how could you ever think I’d forget the kids?’ ‘Again.’

‘Tony I swear to God.’

‘Don’t worry baby girl, I got ‘em, Peter too. Enjoy your girls weekend! I love you.’

‘Love you too baby.’

Warnings - Season 15 spoilers, episode 3 spoilers - please don’t read if you haven’t watched episode 3, I really don’t want to be the reason that it has been spoiled for you! Angst.

Requested - anon - please do one were the reader comforts cas and goes off with him after that mess of an episode!!  Please

Hunting with the Winchesters had never been easy, there was always a next big threat but somehow the lot of you had managed. Right now as you sat in the car on the way back to the bunker, the tension thick and uncomfortable, you wondered how you were going to survive. Sure Rowena had sacrificed herself but you knew it wouldn’t be that easy, something big was yet to come. Tears filled your eyes as you thought of Rowena but you quickly blinked them away, this wasn’t the time for tears, you could cry when you were alone.

Sam was sat quietly, staring out of the window, Dean’s hands were turning white as he gripped the wheel angrily, Castiel sat next to you alternating between looking at Sam in concern and Dean in sadness. Without drawing too much attention to yourself you reached over and grabbed Castiel’s hand in yours, you knew Dean blamed him but you also trusted that Castiel did what he had to do and knowing that he had killed Belphegor, who was wearing Jack’s corpse taking away the slight hope Jack would come back, well that had you believing in Castiel’s decision even more.

The drive back to the bunker dragged but eventually you were all climbing out of the car and separating from the entrance. You watched as Castiel and Sam wandered off down the hall, parting ways quickly. Dean stood slightly in front of you, concern written clearly on his features as his eyes followed his little brother. He let out a sigh before following Sam, leaving you to stand alone. You decided that you’d find Castiel, Dean was comforting Sam so that was covered but Castiel needed somebody too.

-

-

-

“I killed him.” Castiel told you before you had a chance to speak.

“Yeah I know but I don’t think you would’ve done it unless you had to.” You told him honestly, you still didn’t know exactly what had gone down but you believed what you said.

“He was going to consume every soul, take over Hell, Earth, everything. I couldn’t- Y/N, I couldn’t let him. I’m sorry about Rowena, truly I am, but-” Castiel’s voice was heavy with emotion causing you to frown and step into the room, you sat next to him and took his hand in yours.

“Things always go wrong, nothing goes to plan, not with the Winchesters. But we improvise and we make it work. I’m sorry about Rowena too, she was my friend and I’ll miss her everyday but she made that decision. And Belphegor, he was a demon, he was always going to betray us. You can’t beat yourself up over this Cas.” With a sigh, Castiel turned to you looking utterly broken and you quickly wrapped him in a tight hug. He let you hug him, taking comfort in the tight hold you had on him as he hugged you back before letting go after only a few moments.

“I should go and speak to Dean.” He informed you as he pulled away from you.

“You think that’s a good idea, Cas? Why not let him cool off?” You tried but knew it was useless, Castiel wouldn’t feel any better until he at least explained himself to Dean.

“No, no, I should go now. Thank you Y/N.” With that he left the room and you couldn’t help but frown in worry at his retreating figure.

-

-

-

“Something went wrong, you know this, something always goes wrong.” You heard Castiel tell Dean, you weren’t intentionally eavesdropping but you didn’t want to enter the room now either.

“Yeah why does that something always seem to be you?” You heard Dean ask and barely managed to conceal the gasp that left your lips. That was a low blow and Dean had to know it. You could just about see Cas and watched the emotions he was feeling play out on his face, your heart broke for him.

The silence between them was uncomfortable and you just about managed to stop yourself from going into the room to defuse the situation, as messy and cruel as it was they needed to get everything out there. The feelings Dean was carrying around towards Castiel were interfering with everything.

“You used to trust me,” your heart sank further as you listen to Castiel, “give me the benefit of the doubt. Now you can barely look at me. My powers are failing, and I've tried to talk to you, over and over, and you just don't want to hear it. You don't care. I'm dead to you. You still blame me for Mary. Well, I don't think there's anything left to say.”

“Where you going?” Dean asked and you leaned in wanting to know that exact thing.

“Jack’s dead. Chuck’s gone. You and Sam have each other. Y/N has you both. I think it’s time for me to move on.”

Your eyes filled with tears as you heard Castiel, he considered you family and believing that none of you cared for him, that you were just using him broke your heart. Dean, Sam and you all cared deeply for Castiel no matter what Dean made him believe. Watching Castiel walk out of the door was one of the hardest things you’d witnessed, this coming from a hunter who had seen a whole lot of bad, terrifying, heart wrenching things.

Dean’s eyes were watery when you stepped into the room. He looked up and frowned when he saw the tears sliding down your face with no show of stopping.

“Y/N.” He started, reaching out to gently grab your arm but you shoved him away.

“How dare you! You know Castiel would do anything for the Winchester’s, sure he’s fucked up in the past and I’m sorry about your mom, OK, but the way you treated him-” Here you cut yourself off, reaching up to angrily rub the tears from your cheeks before turning away and following the same route Castiel had just taken.

“Hey, where- Y/N, where are you going?” He asked, face hardening as to not portray anything he was feeling though the red around his eyes stood out.

“I’m going with Castiel.” You told him, your tone harsh.

“Y/N!” Dean called but you were quick to leave the bunker, not even bothering to pack a bag. You had to find Castiel.

Luckily he was still outside the bunker, looking paler and more tired than you’d seen him. Quickly you made you way over to him and wrapped him in another hug, he jolted slightly in your arms, not expecting anyone to have followed him out.

“What are you doing out here?” Castiel asked, voice thick with emotion.

“I heard you and Dean. He had no right to treat you like that Cas-”

“He has every right, he blames me for Mary. Nothing I can do will make that right with him.” He told you, cutting you off.

“Cas-” You tried but he just shook his head.

“You should go back inside, I will be leaving but I am glad to have seen you one last time.” The sadness was so prominent in his voice causing you to frown and squeeze him tighter.

“I’m not leaving you Castiel, so you either come back inside with me or we both leave. It’s your choice.” You told him, leaving absolutely no room for argument.

“Y/N, I couldn’t ask you to-”

“You’re not asking me to do anything Cas, I want to be with you.” You told him, trying desperately to convey your sincerity. You loved the Winchester boys, they were family to you but so was Castiel and he was right, they had each other, it was the way it was suppose to be. Sam and Dean Winchester running the family business, no Castiel, no Y/N. That’s the way the story was supposed to be.

“I cannot go back.” Cas told you causing you to nod and pull away.

“Well then angel, let’s go on our own adventure.” You smiled weakly at him and held your hand out, the smile becoming more genuine as he took your hand in his.

“Where to?” Castiel asked you with his own sad smile.

“Anywhere.” You grinned at him.

You knew that the fight God himself had started was far from over but if the world was going to end then you were going to live life to the fullest and make damn well sure that Castiel did the same. In the life you all lived you couldn’t have regrets, knowing any day would be the last. Castiel squeezed your hand and with that the two of you started a new adventure, one neither of you had ever had before.

Request - Anon ~ Hey can I have Misha & reader ((platonic not romantic)) where they meet at like an airport or smth because of West with the prompt violet? Thank you, love your work. X

Prompts - Violet - ‘Your kid keeps running over here and stealing food off my plate when you’re not looking and I don’t know how to make it stop’

Airports were the worst you’d decided. Trying to fly back to Washington was proving to be more difficult than anyone would have guessed, you could walk to Washington quicker than this.

You’d been at the airport for hours the day before only for them to tell you that your flight was cancelled due to something being wrong with the plane, great. Thankfully they put you up in a hotel but you had to queue for hours just to get your voucher for the hotel and ugh it was proving to be a very stressful two days.

They had told you your plane would be ready at 6 AM, so you woke up bright and early and headed to the airport again. Was your plane ready at 6 AM? No, no it wasn’t and it wouldn’t be ready until 5 PM later that day. This was just great.

Thankfully you didn’t have anything you needed to be home for other than the comfort of your own house and bed but still it was getting to be a bit of a joke at this point.

You realised just how hungry you were at around 4 PM, you still had an hour until your flight. Sighing you stood up from the uncomfortable chair you were in and made your way over to one of the restaurants they had in the airport. You quickly ordered your food before taking a seat in the courtyard like area in the middle of the stores.

Before you had a chance to take a bite of your food, you saw a small hand reach over and grab one of the fries that lay on your plate. You followed the hand and watched as a kid shoved it in his mouth before running over to a table that was two away from yours. The kid was looking at you with a smile causing you to raise your eyebrow before shaking your head and turning to your food.

You’d ate three or so bites before the small hand was back.

It’s not like you could say anything to the kid, I mean you probably could but then you risk getting in trouble with the parents whilst also looking like a bit of an arse.

He took two fries from your plate before scurrying back to his table.

This happened five more times before the kids dad finally noticed that his son had a handful of fries, your fries, in his hand and was stood there happily eating them to his heart’s content.

“Hey buddy,” you heard the man say, pulling the child on to his lap. You couldn’t help but smile as you watched the kid try to feed his dad one of the fries. “No thank you, where are you getting them from Westy?”

Westy, now why did that sound familiar? Before you could think on it, the kid raised an empty hand and pointed over to you and- Oh my God was that Misha Collins?

Fuck, you were so glad you hadn’t told his kid off.

Misha looked at you and you spoke before he had a chance to.

“Your kid keeps running over here and stealing food off my plate when you’re not looking and I don’t know how to make it stop.” You couldn’t help but smile back at him when he gave you an apologetic smile.

“West, you know you can’t do that. Apologise to the nice lady please.”

“No, really, it’s fine. No harm done.” Misha didn’t say anything, just looked at West who was smiling innocently.

“Sorry for stealing your fries, Miss.” You couldn’t help but melt at the cuteness.

“It’s alright, like I said no harm done.” He smiled before turning to bury his face in Misha’s chest, sure the kid was shy now but when he wanted some of your food it was a different story.

“Sorry about that, he’s got to that age were he’s curious about everything. I’m Misha, by the way, this is my son West.” How did you play this? It could weird him out if you said you knew who he was but at the same time you really didn’t want to let this moment pass you by.

“Again, it’s really fine and, uh, I know. I’m kinda a fan of Supernatural actually.” You tried to fight the blush of embarrassment that made its way onto your face. He grinned excitedly at you though and turned more to talk to you.

“Oh really? Hi, it’s so nice to meet you! What’s your name?” You told him your name and he asked where you were going, turns out you were both heading to Washington only he hadn’t been stuck here for as long as you had. You had expected Misha to be down to Earth but you really hadn’t expected him to be this nice.

When they finally announced that your plane was ready to board, you, Misha and West all headed to the terminal you were taking off from.

Once you were there, Misha leaned over and gave you a hug that you practically melted in to before saying his goodbyes.

The goodbyes weren’t necessary, however, when you boarded the plane, as you ended up being sat next to West, Misha taking the window seat and you being at the end of the middle row.

Maybe airport delays weren’t the worst thing in the world.

Requested - Dean Winchester x reader with the prompts 19 - “The truth is being with you scares me. But not being with you…terrifies me” and 23 - “Before I do this, I need you to know that I have always loved you.”

Y/N had been hunting with the Winchester’s for a long time, you’d met them whilst you were hunting a nest of vampires and ended up making quite a team. Once they had found out what the vampires had done to your family they opened their home up to you, you had happily accepted the invitation and since then had grown close to them. Whilst you liked both men you had been drawn to Dean more, you went to him when you were scared, when you couldn’t sleep due to nightmares from your past. You shared the bed with him more times than not when the three, sometimes four depending on if Castiel joined, travelled. You knew you were falling for the taller man but also knew nothing could come from it, this life wasn’t for people who thought they could have a slice of happiness, getting to close to someone got you and them hurt but still you couldn’t help soaking up all the hugs, the touches, the lingering glances between Dean and you.

Even with the apocalypse world situation nothing had changed between you and Dean, you were still friends, the best of friends, and nothing more. You joked and flirted, everyone could tell there was something there but you knew Dean was just joking, no matter how much Sam tried to convince you otherwise.

The bunker was currently fuller than usual, Rowena here helping with opening the gate to the apocalypse world, Gabriel recovering and helping were he could, Castiel, Sam and Dean were getting ready to go to the other side. You, however, sat staring at Dean with an angry glare. He had banned you from going, said it was too dangerous which was true but what wasn’t dangerous in this life? You knew when you joined the boys your life would be dangerous, that every action would have a consequence but you wanted to help! You were going to the apocalypse world with or without Dean’s permission, just let him try and stop you.

“Listen, I’m not apologising for protecting you-“ Dean began but was quickly cut off by you protesting, “I don’t need protection Dean Winchester, I’m a big girl and I’m perfectly capable of protecting myself!” Kneeling in front of you Dean sighed before continuing, “I know you can but you haven’t dealt with a threat this big before, Hell, we don’t even know what we’re walking into. You- I won’t let you go in there. I need you too damn much.” You looked at him for a long moment. As much as you wanted the words to mean something, and in any other situation they would, you couldn’t listen to them at the moment. You needed to go with them, help them!

“I’m going with you whether you like it or not.” Your voice was firm as you stood from your chair, pushing past him. He barely stayed balanced in his squatting position before he stood up and went to follow you, only to be stopped by Sam who put his hand on Dean's shoulder and shook his head slightly.

“She’s right, the clock may run out on us.” You heard as you tuned back into the conversation. You knew Castiel and Rowena were right, you hadn’t been to the other world but from what you’d been told it was big and the chance of finding Mary and Jack was, well it was slim.

Looking up you saw Gabriel enter the room, holding a vial of his grace. As Rowena held it up you frowned a confused expression making its way onto yours, and everyone else’s face. With an uneasy look towards Castiel, Rowena used the small amount of grace to finish the spell. As the angels grabbed their blades and Sam and Dean grabbed their bags, you leant against the door frame, your own bag hidden in your room a few doors down.

“I need you to trust me.” Dean said as he came over to you, a hand reaching up to cup your cheek, it took all your strength not to lean into his touch. “I’m not benching you to be an ass, I’m trying to protect you. Hell, I don’t even want Sammy in there. I can’t have both of you in there, I’m sorry Y/N. I really am.”

“You don’t need to be worried about protecting me in there Dean! Sure I haven’t fought archangels like you have but I’ve fought enough creatures to the point where you should know I can handle my own shit. Stop looking at me like a child who told you they want to be an astronaut, I can actually do this.” You were angry, you had been with the Winchester’s for a few years now. Had been through thick and thin with them and still when the biggest fight was here Dean didn’t trust you. You turned and walked out of the room, the older Winchester following you right out.

“I trust you, Y/N, you know I do!” Dean said causing you to scoff, he paused to glare at you before continuing. “Is it that hard to believe I care about you too much?”

“Whatever. Just go, I don’t even care. I’ll just follow your orders and stay here!” He went to respond, looking just as frustrated as you felt, but was cut off by Sam shouting him into the room.

“Y/N, before I go, in case something happens you have to know,” here he paused for a few long moments, “I - I do trust you.” It could have been the many emotions you were feeling but you swore you saw regret in his eyes, like he was telling the truth but not the whole truth. You shrugged it off, rolling your eyes at his retreating figure before following him into the room again.

You all watched as Rowena completed the spell, the portal appeared before collapsing, all you heads titling with it. The group in front of you began arguing about Gabriel’s grace before Castiel started explaining how they needed archangel grace.

“We need Lucifer.” His voice was firm, there was no arguing with the statement, though that didn’t stop them. Your eyes darted towards Sam and then Rowena, feeling sympathy for them both but knowing Castiel was right. Gabriel wasn’t healed and the gate needed to be opened as soon as possible.

Sam, Dean and Castiel excused themselves to go and discuss things in the kitchen. You left for your bedroom not completely understanding what needed discussing, as much as Sam had reason to despise Lucifer he was the only way that the door to the apocalypse world could be opened.

For the amount of time you had spent with Sam and Dean, you hadn’t had the chance to meet Lucifer. They kept you as far away from him as humanly possible. They had told you what he had done to Cas, to Sam but you weren’t scared of him, well not as much as you probably should’ve been. It sort of made sense, Lucifer wanting to destroy the world his Father made after being put in the cage. That didn’t mean you agreed with what Lucifer had done, just that you could sort of see his side.

The apocalypse world was going to be dangerous, you knew that much. Dean was worried about going in there and that should have been enough to scare you but you couldn’t just sit around and do nothing. You’d lost one family and you refused to sit around and do nothing while this family was in danger.

There was a knock on your door and you looked up to see Castiel leaning against the frame. “Dean wanted to come but I didn’t think you’d want to see him right now.” He said causing you to smile. “Rowena and Gabriel have gone to collect Lucifer. I’d expect them back shortly.”

You nodded at Castiel and told him you’d be out soon before closing the door and double checking your bag. You had guns, extra bullets, a knife, flashlights and your angel blade which you stole from Dean a year or so ago. You planned to go through to the apocalypse world after Sam, Dean, Gabriel and Cas had had time to move. Rowena wouldn’t let you go without a fight but if Lucifer was there then maybe she wouldn’t be as focused on you.

By the time you walked back into the library, Rowena was grinding the ingredients for the spell again and a man you’d never met before was knelt on the ground. Lucifer, that was Lucifer. He had just started the regain consciousness when you quietly walked in.

“Oh hey Sam,” he smirked before taking in the rest of the room, “oh look at that, all the people I love to torture in the same room.” Then his eyes locked with yours and you raised an eyebrow. “Expect you, whose she? New pet?” He was cut off as Rowena placed the bowl of ingredients under him and he put the pieces together. Your eyes widened as Castiel stepped forward and slit the archangels throat, grace pooling from the wound.

Sam told Lucifer of his plan before Rowena performed the spell again, this time the door was bright and wide and Sam’s plan of draining Lucifer seemed like it would actually work, seemed like something would finally go right for them.

“...Then, when we get back, then we’ll kill you.” Sam said, pointing his figure at the archangel. The unbothered, almost bored, “cool” Lucifer let out made you snort quietly; never piss off a Winchester.

Whilst Sam checked in with Rowena, Dean made his way over to you. “Listen I know you’re still made at me but I need you to know this before I go,” He took a deep breath, moments passed before he looked at you again, ““Before I do this, I need you to know that I have always loved you. If I don’t make it back, I just- I need you to know that, ok?”

Before you could reply Gabriel was asking the group if they were ready and before you knew it each of them passed through the doorway, Dean throwing you one last look over his shoulder. Well now you absolutely needed to go to the apocalypse world, not only to help Jack and Mary but if something happened to Dean, not that you didn’t doubt he’d find a way back from the dead, he wouldn’t know you felt the same about him.

Sometimes you really hated the hunter’s life.

You sat watching Lucifer stare down at the bowl filled with his grace. He looked slightly defeated before turning his attention to Rowena, beginning to pick at her. You raised your eyebrow as you listened to him, “sort of old-fashioned rightness to it, if you think about it. The men going off to face the trials and glories of war. Woman staying home in the kitchen, where she belongs.” You felt your own fists clench and you had to close your eyes to resist the urge to get up and punch the archangel. As you watched him smile innocently at Rowena you had to give credit to her, she knew how to handle the Devil.

Once he saw he wasn’t getting a reaction out of Rowena he turned to you, smirking when he saw he was already getting a reaction out of you. Rowena placed a hand on your knee, just out of sight of Lucifer, and you took a deep breath knowing you couldn’t let him get to you.

“What about you then? Never tortured you before. Dean Winchester seems fond of you, is that how your relationship works? Dean goes off doing the real work, the man's work and you, what, you stay here like a good little girlfriend? Ready to stitch up his wounds and fetch him drinks all day? Is that it?” You felt Rowena’s grip on you tighten as your jaw clenched painfully. “Oh no that’s not it. You wanted to go, didn’t you? But Dean doesn’t think you’re strong enough, does he?” You focused your attention back on the book in front of you, trying your best not to show Lucifer he was getting to you. He kept prodding but you wouldn’t budge, Rowena’s grip on you helping hold you down.

Again, the lack of reaction caused Lucifer to pause before he started singing obnoxiously. You and Rowena shared a look of exasperation, both ready to be done with the archangel and if you didn’t need him he’d be dead already. You watched Rowena place her hand on her head and hoped the group in the apocalypse world would be quick for her sake, you couldn’t wait until you went across.

“I told her I loved her, man. I finally confessed and we get dragged into this world before she could say anything, Hell even a rejection would be better than nothing.” Dean sighed, Sam looked at him in sympathy knowing just how long his older brother had been trying to work up the courage to tell Y/N how he felt. It was moments like this were he wished Dean and him could just live a normal life, let Dean be happy for once.

“Let’s just make it through this and then you’ll see her. Trust me, she’s just as crazy about you as you are about her.” Dean didn’t look convinced but shrugged his shoulders; trying to focus on this world and not on his world.

The subject changed onto Dean’s worry about Sam, how he seemed different in this world but that quickly got interrupted by a woman’s scream. Gabriel tried to dissuade them from intervening but saving people was their job.

Lucifer’s singing carried on before he changed the topic on his last encounter with Rowena. You could see he was getting to her and took this as your chance. Quietly you slipped out of the room, a strong sense of guilt and sympathy for the witch but you knew you had to leave. You grabbed your bag and headed back to the doorway to the apocalypses, pausing before entering the room as you heard Rowena snap. You heard her tell Lucifer that Jack was on the other side, a bad feeling settling in your stomach as you snuck passed and into the doorway.

“Ow!” You cried as you fell face first through the crack. You looked around and felt a chill run up your back, this world was worse than what Sam and Dean had said. You pulled the angel blade from your bag, stuffing it tightly in your boot before pulling the gun out. You looked around, trying to figure out which way to go before you shot around, gun pointed up as you heard something behind you.

“What are you doing here?” You raised an eyebrow as Lucifer questioned you.

“I could ask you the same thing!” You bit back, lowering your gun and pulling the blade from your boot, “you’re meant to be keeping that open!” You yell, pointing to the door.

“Yes, well, change of plans. Apparently my son is in this world and I want him back,” he said before pausing, looking you up and down before smirking, “and you’re going to help me.”

It was official, you hated Lucifer.

He’d managed to track down which way the Winchester’s and Angels had gone before grabbing your arm and pulling you along. Though he had forced you to take a detour in which he found some of Michael’s angels and drained them off their grace. To think Dean was worried about you coming to this world because of the creatures in it, no, know you had your own personal guard; the bloody Devil himself. The sooner you found him, the better. Not only did you want to be as far away from Lucifer as possible, you also needed to warn them that the gate would close sooner than anticipated thanks to the Devil.

Lucifer ended up pushing you through a door and into a dark tunnel, thankfully you’d brought your flashlight, using it to try and see where you were. Lucifer and you walked down the cave, cobwebs littering the place as you looked around.

“Keep going.” Lucifer growled like you could possibly go anywhere but forward. On the way you passed multiple beheaded vampires and reached for your regular blade, shoving the gun in your jeans.

“Scared?” Lucifer asked with a smirk. “Not even a little, come on.” You replied with an eye roll, turning the corner. You came onto a space with a few different passages, turning to look at Lucifer. As much as you hated the archangel, he was proving useful in knowing where to go.

“This way.” He said before leading you up one of the dark passages. You gripped your blade tighter, feeling uneasy as you looked around. You could definitely hear growling and from the sounds of it you were getting closer.

Lucifer reached out and grabbed your arm causing you to try and pull away, try being the key word considering his grasp was too strong to break. “Keep quiet.” He said before you ended up in another room, a hand shooting to your head. God you hated when angels did that. Opening your eyes you let out a gasp as you saw Sam laying dead on the floor. You looked to Lucifer who paid you no attention before your focus was back on Sam, who sat up and inhaled deeply.

“Hey Sammy.” You watched as Lucifer took joy in bringing Sam back, knowing he had an advantage over him. Lucifer launched into another of his annoying speeches as Sam tried to comprehend the situation as you stood in the shadows, trying to get over the fact that Sam had died, again.

“The rift. Rowena. Y/N.” You watched as Sam realised the implications of Lucifer being here and not back at the bunker.

Lucifer walked over to you, throwing an arm over your shoulder. “Relax, this one’s safe. I’ve been guarding her the whole time.” He told Sam with an innocent grin. “Rowena’s ok. I was going to kill her but instead she blasted me here but that’s okay because apparently, apparently, my son is here!”

Sam’s eyes flashed to you as Lucifer continued talking. He picked up his bag, ready to leave before Lucifer showed him the vampires he was keeping at bay. You closed your eyes and took a deep breath. Lucifer was going to Jack and hopefully by this point Jack would be with Dean, Cas and Gabriel. You just hoped Sam came with you, it really was the only way out of here. You watched as Lucifer went to snap his fingers, ready to let the hoard of vampires in.

“What do you want!?” Sam shouted angrily, face showing his emotions clearly. A relationship with his son, that’s what Lucifer claimed to want. Castiel had informed you all of the power this nephilim would hold and how with that power, Lucifer really was unstoppable.

“You’re going to help me. I don’t think he’ll give me a chance unless I come bearing gifts. That’s where you come in, her too but she’s not as important. Hell I could kill you now and it wouldn’t affect my plans.” He said to you, his grip on you tightening. Your eyes darted to Sam’s, betraying the panic you were feeling.

He turned his attention back to Sam, his grip on you not easing. “Apocalypse world, Michaels armies, you really think you and your family can handle that stuff alone. You need me.” Lucifer told him and as much as you hated to admit it, the more archangels you had on your side the better.

“And what if I say no?” Your whole body went cold as Sam said that. You understood him not wanting to work with Lucifer but right now there wasn’t a choice. He’d never get away from the vampires without the help of the archangel. Sam just had to play along long enough to get back to the group.

“All right, let me just make this really really easy, easy enough for even you to understand Sammy. I’m getting to Jack, one way or another. The only question is, you coming?”

-

-

-

Lucifer kept an arm on you as he pushed Sam forward, letting the group see him first before his dramatic appearance. You hadn’t known the man very long, a day at most, but you hated him. You saw the confusion on Castiel’s face, the smile that spread across Jack’s face and squeezed your eyes shut. Nothing could go right for them, could it?

Once Lucifer could see Sam held everyone’s attention, he pulled you around with him causing the general gaze to shift from Sam to you two. You could see Dean’s face clearly and regretted ever stepping through that doorway.

“Hello, son.” Lucifer smirked. You turned to glare up at Lucifer as he dragged you over to stand near Cas, Gabriel and Jack. You could see the innocent act coming out again as Jack looked at his father.

“How did you get in here?” Castiel asked, his eyes flickering to you in question. You shook your head.

“Oh, she didn’t let me go, no, no, I managed that all on my own. In fact, she came in before me.” You closed your eyes again, looking down at the floor as Lucifer spoke.

Dean stepped forward once Lucifer began to talk to Jack, not allowing the archangel anywhere near him. Lucifer began talking, something he was good at, getting into people’s minds. You could see Jack's face, angry but curious. Once Jack flashed out, Dean began to shout at Lucifer.

After Lucifer had been restrained with handcuffs, Dean’s pulled you away from him and the group.

“What the hell, Y/N!? What were you thinking? First I tell you don’t come in here and then you what? You team up with Lucifer? God, he could have killed you!” Dean shouted angrily, fingers running through short hair.

“I- I know, ok, I know he could have killed me,” your hand went up to your neck where he held you, “I know. I came in here and he was still restrained. I was here for less than two minutes when he came in! I don’t know what happened. I’m not working with Lucifer, Dean I had to, I couldn’t let you come here. If something happened, God Sam died! I saw him dead, that could have been you too! And you wouldn’t have known that I, that I,” You let out a sob as tears fell down your face, it wasn’t often you cried but after everything that had happened you couldn’t stop the tears from rolling down your face.

“Ok, Ok, c’mere,” Dean said as he pulled you in for a hug. “I’m not mad, it’s just I cannot lose you, Y/N/N. God, it bad enough Sam died in here, if I’d lost both of you I couldn’t, I don’t know what I’d do. I didn’t think these would be the circumstances when I confessed but the truth is,” he began, pulling away to wipe at your eyes, making sure you were looking at him before he continued, “being with you scares me. But not being with you…terrifies me.”

“I love you too. I have for so long but in our life, it’s hard to care about someone this much, yet alone love them. But I want that, with you Dean. I really do.” Your tears had started to slow as Dean wiped them before leaning in and kissing you softly. It was sweeter than what you imagined but considering the circumstances, it was exactly what you both needed. It didn’t last long, Dean pulled away and rested his head on your forehead. “I swear when we get back to our world, I’m not letting you go. I’m gonna treat you right.” He wrapped his arm around you before placing a kiss on your head.

There was still a lot to figure about, both with your relationship and the current situation. 31 hours wasn’t a lot of time but if anyone could figure out a way, it was the Winchesters.

You sat in the bunker, glass in hand as you took in the sight. The bunker was flooded with people from the apocalypse world, Rowena had managed to get everyone back safely, everyone but Gabriel and Lucifer. Your heart ached for Gabriel, all that time on the run, the time spent being tortured by Asmodeus, it would have been nice for him to stay, live his life instead of running. You watched with a fond smile as Sam spoke to Rowena, hopefully the youngest Winchester would let himself have a slice of happiness. Sam moved to stand by Dean and Cas talking quietly before Dean’s gaze moved to you, before he could move to you apocalypse world Bobby took a minute to toast Sam and Dean.

“Hey. There’s a diner not too far away. How’d you guys feel about burgers?” Mary asked the group, Jack, Sam, Cas, Dean and you. After everyone approved you all headed to the garage. It was a tight squeeze in the back but you and Dean rode up front, hands intertwined tightly together. Looking behind you,  you saw Sam looking between you with a grin on his face. Sometimes, in moments like this, you could pretend things were normal, like you hadn’t just been in an entirely different universe. Like you were allowed to be happy. You rested your head on Dean’s shoulder and he placed a kiss upon your head before turning his attention back to the road.

Maybe you couldn’t have that white picket fence, apple pie life but looking around the Impala you realised, maybe you don’t need that to be happy and have a family. As long as you were together, you were happy even fighting side by side chopping off vampires heads and killing other worldly angels. Being with Dean, being happy with Dean, scared you. But not being with him...terrifies you.

One Life For The Two of Us, Mr Stark

image

Requested by anon ~ Requests are open

Waking up on the side of the road wasn’t how you usually spent your time so when you did you were understandably confused. The Snap, you’d discover later, had changed everything, you’d realise people had moved on, adapted to the change but now somehow you were back.

The Avengers. Of course they were responsible for reversing the events of The Snap, your boyfriend Peter Parker had told you all about Tony Stark and you had no doubt that he played a role in bringing everyone back.

Frantically your hands flew down to your pockets searching for a phone that wasn’t there. Had Peter experienced what had happened? Was he OK? You needed answers from somebody and Peter seemed like the best bet given his close relationship with Tony Stark. Looking around at your surroundings you realised you weren’t far from home, even closer to Peter’s apartment.

Your fist repeatedly thumped on the door as you called Peter’s name, the door opened to reveal a stranger. Your eyes flickered to the door, checking you were at the right apartment, before going back to the man’s. Before either of you could say anything Aunt May appeared around the corner.

“Y/N?” She asked, sounded just as shocked and confused as you yourself were feeling.

“Aunt May? What happened? Who’s this? Where’s Peter? Are you OK?” You couldn’t stop yourself from asking at a rapid pace. Aunt May cut you of by wrapping you in a hug after stepping out of the apartment.

“I don’t know, Peter’s not here. He was going on the field trip but apparently, according to those people, we’ve been,” here Aunt May hesitated, taking a deep breath before continuing, “Y/N we’ve been gone for five years.”

- - -

Peter was still in his suit when you walked into the room, in any other situation you would take the opportunity to tease him about it but now the room was somber. It wasn’t long after Tony’s funeral, Peter sat on his bed, eyes red and watery with tears running down his face. He’d gotten through the funeral somehow, not caring about the fact that he was surrounded by some of his heroes because the one he wanted most was gone. You took a seat next to him on the bed, not knowing what you could say to make the situation anymore bearable.

“You know,” Peter said after half an hour of silence, “I still call him. I know there’s never going to be an answer but I call and I listen to his stupid answering machine. I wake up and God Y/N,” he laughed a teary laugh, “I wake up and think he’s just gonna be here. He was too good, always willing to sacrifice himself for a world that hurt him! I wish, I wish it was me instead.”

By the point your own eyes were filled with tears, you never had the pleasure of meeting Tony Stark but that’s not to say his presence didn’t inspire you, encourage you, make you believe. Tony meant everything to Peter, you could tell, the way he spoke about ‘Mr Stark’ like he hung the stars in the sky.

“Pete,” your voice cracked as you tried to keep your own emotions at bay for Peter’s sake, you grabbed his hand in yours before continuing, “he wouldn’t ever want that. H-he loved you as much as you loved him, that much was obvious, even to me and I never got to meet him. You gotta live your life now Peter, live it for him. He believed in you, I’m willing to bet he did until the end. He picked you because he knew you would always do the right thing, he loved you.”

At this point Peter’s silent tears had turned into sobs of grief, sobs that when a person heard them, they knew someone was in unbearable pain and had to take a minute. You let go of Peter’s hand and instead wrapped your arm around his shoulder, drawing him into you.

“He sa- he said he wanted me to be better than him Y/N, but that’s impossible. I’m not going to let him down, I wi- I’m gonna be the best me an-an-and and I’m gonna make him so pr-proud of me.”

“He’s already proud of you, baby.” You said into his hair, placing a gentle kiss there. “You’ll always have a piece of him with you at some point, whether as Peter Parker or Spider-Man. Peter has the knowledge, the love, Tony gave him and Spider-Man has the suits, the wisdom that he gave. I promise you even when you’re on your own, you won’t be alone cause he’s here, Pete. He’ll be looking down on you and he’ll be beaming with pride.”

You gently moved and repositioned yourself and Peter so you were laying down on his bed, him in your arms, fingers running through his hair and Peter let out quiet tears, sobbing and sniffing every now and then.

‘I’m gonna hold him where my heart is, one life for the two of us Mr Stark.” Peter whispered softly against your chest before closed his eyes and leaned into your touch.

You held Peter for hours and by the time Aunt May arrived back at home, peering into the room, the pair of you had fallen asleep, you holding Peter protectively and him clutching you like you’d disappear to.

You were sat with Luna when Neville came through the portrait announcing he had a surprise, you turned to Luna raising an eyebrow in question before looking back to see Harry Potter stood before you all. Immediately everyone was on their feet, welcoming him back before he told you all he was looking for something, the only problem; he didn’t know what he was looking for or where it was. Luna mentioned the lost diadem of Rowena Ravenclaw but that wasn’t possible, the thing had been lost for centuries, nobody who was alive today had seen it. That thought lasted half a second until you realised that nothing is impossible, Fred and George taught you that much. When Ginny ran in announcing Snape’s discovery you all turned to Harry before he told you his plan.

You stood in your houses line as Snape spoke, slow and calculated, trying your hardest not to fidget as you waited for Harry. Hopefully Remus and the Order would be here soon, tensions were rising and it was only a matter of time before Voldemort struck.

“I invite them to step forward…now.” Snape finished, the hall stayed quiet for a few moments before Harry stepped out of line and began to confront Snape. Gasps and murmurs could be heard from around the room as he began talking.

“It seems that despite your exhaustive defensive strategies, you still have a bit of a security problem, headmaster.” With that the halls to the Grand Hall opened and in walked the Order of the Phoenix. Your eyes immediately settled on George who was scanning the room before he found you, ‘you okay?’ He mouthed and you nodded back slightly, not taking your eyes off him.

“How dare you stand where he stood?” You heard Harry begin, students had moved to accommodate the Order’s entrance and you took this as your chance to edge closer to George. “Tell then how it happened that night. Tell them how you looked him in the eyes, a man who trusted you, and killed him!” Your head shot around, finally looking away from George as you looked between Snape and Harry. You and many of the students gasped when Snape pulled his wand on Harry, even louder gasps could be heard when Professor McGonagall pushed Harry aside, her own wand trained on Snape as everyone stepped back, giving her room. You watched as Snape faltered before edging further back, a few rows from George. His eyes flickered from you to Snape, his own wand raised. You watched in amazement as McGonagall fired spell after spell at Snape until he retreated. Once he was gone, and McGonagall lit the castle up, you ran to George who wrapped his arms tightly around you. He started mumbling calming words into your hair, rubbing your back as you relaxed into him.

The celebration was cut short as you heard girls begin to scream before you heard Voldemort himself. You gripped onto George as Voldemort tried to convince you all to give him Harry in favour of not being killed and not having your home be destroyed. You glared at Pansy as she tried to get someone to grab him as you joined the circle that had formed around Harry, George’s arms still wrapped around you.

The hallways were filled with people running around, you could understand the panic but right now it wasn’t helping. You heard Professor McGonagall securing the castle when George grabbed your hand, pulling you along with him. Looking out the window as he pulled you, you saw the protection spells settling over Hogwarts and watched the spells Voldemort sent to destroy it. You breathing began to stutter slightly but your outer appearance remained calm.

“Stay with me, ok?” George said as he pulled you along to follow Kingsley, Remus and Fred. You brushed past Remus and Kingsley as George led you further into the castle. Once you three had got to the part of the castle you were to secure George let go off you, leaning against the wall with Fred.

“You okay, Freddie?” He asked, no trace of his usual humour when talking to his twin.

“Yeah.” Fred told him, not sounding very convincing but you couldn’t blame him. You felt terrified and stayed with you back pressed to the wall, a few steps behind the twins.

“Me too.” George told him, a smile on his face, drawing one from Fred. Always trying to stay strong for the other. They were good at that, putting up a strong front.

“Y/N?” George asked, turning to look at you.

“I’m good.” You told them, same amount of conviction in your voice as Fred causing George to smile at you. You tried your best to return it but struggled. He saw your eyes were wet, you were doing your best to contain your emotions but once he pulled you into his arms, a few tears slid down your face. “Don’t worry,” he whispered, “it’s going to be over soon.” You pulled out of the hug, seeing his eyes were glazed over, and pulled him into a breathtakingly, hard kiss. It was messy but you just needed to do it in case, in case- you couldn’t even finish the thought. Tears were freely rolling down your face as you pulled back, lips red and swollen as you whispered against them, “I love you George.” He didn’t tell you off for making it sound like goodbye, instead he pulled you in for a softer kiss before pulling back completely, “I love you too. Y/N.”

You heard someone shouting for help, no one else seemed to be around, preferring the bit of safety inside the castle provided them. You looked at George, a demand on his lips for you to stay but before he could say anything you were running towards the screaming, wand out and ready. “Y/N!” You heard him shout but knew you had to do something to help.

You helped the first year, getting her to a group of older students before you found yourself on the balcony of one of the floors, looking out at the quidditch pitch that was being engulfed by fire. You took a deep, not very calming, breath before you prepared yourself for what was to come.

Watching with wide, watery eyes as Voldemort’s army tore into the protections around Hogwarts, you prayed that George was going to be ok. You prayed that it’d be quick. From your position you could see Remus and hoped he’d be OK, you knew he had just had a kid. Merlin, how was any of this happening?

You watched in horror as Voldemort’s army stormed into Hogwarts, a large part of you wanted to hide away. Wanted to find George and hide under a blanket with him like you did whenever either of you were scared or had a nightmare. This was the biggest nightmare you were experiencing and yet you knew you wouldn’t be waking up. You knew you had to fight though it wasn’t your war, wasn’t even your battle, but you knew you had to fight. His army made the protections around Hogwarts seem like nothing as they easily tore through, you heard McGonagall shouting from someone below your position for everyone to get back inside and let out a deep breath. Merlin, you wished you’d stayed with Fred and George.

You let out a gasp as a death eater appeared beside you and ducked out of the way of one of his spells, quickly you shot back your own, thankful for the extra Defence lessons. By the time you’d dealt with the death eater, two more had appeared next to you, one shot a spell that sent a huge cut across your leg whilst you quickly disarmed and petrified the other. You duelled with the second death eater, trying to ignore the sting in your leg when she fell to the floor, your looked up and saw Mr Weasley. You gave him a quick smile. He turned back and ran towards Kingsley as you fired off a ‘stupefy’ towards an unsuspecting death eater. You quickly dodged out of the way of falling brick, backing into a death eater, you let out a groan as you began duelling. You looked at the wall next to the death eater and raised a brow, the school was falling apart anyway, might as well get to blow something up.

“Bombarda Maxima!” You shout and watch the wall crush the death eater. “Ow.” You murmured as you were thrown back, landing on your cut leg. Your hand shot to your head, ignoring the trace of blood as you listen to Voldemort call back his army, “I do not wish this. Every drop of magical blood spilled is a terrible waste. I therefore command my forces to retreat.” You heard his threats as you shakily stood and made your way back to the main quarter of the castle, leaning heavily on the wall as you did.

Your eyes widen as you look around at the destruction that had been caused, you took in the countless dead bodies and injured students and teachers before your eyes settled on one family in particular. “No.” You murmured, your legs refusing to work as you saw Fred laying, unmoving, on the floor. You watched George move out of Mr Weasley’s hold to throw his arms around Ron.

“Ge-George.”  You managed to choke out. He turned to you, tears running down his face and let out a breath as he ran towards you, wrapping you tightly in his arms. “I-is he, George, is he-” You couldn’t even bare to say the words. “He needs a healer. He’s alive, but he’s-” here George paused to let out a sob, “Y/N, I don’t know if he’s gonna make it.” Over his shoulder you saw a nurse you didn’t recognise settle down next to Fred and pulled her wand out getting to work. “He’s gonna be ok, Georgie, he’s gonna be fine.” You whispered into his neck, hands running through his hair. “I’m so frightened. I’m so bloody scared.” He whispered to you and you just held him tighter because there were no words in the entire English language that you could say to make anything better.

The pair of you moved to sit next to the family, Ron having excused himself but you knew he played an important role in this too, knew information Harry had entrusted him with. You sat holding George’s hand, his grip on you bruising but you didn’t mind. Tears ran down your face as you stared at Fred, George’s head resting on yours as you watched the healer move her wand rapidly. No words were exchanged between the Weasley clan as they all looked on.

When you see everyone leaving the hall you stood, George following too even though it was clear all he wanted to do was stay and look over his brother. You gasp and cling to George as you see Voldemort’s army walk into the courtyard, or what was left of it.

“Who is that Hagrid’s carrying?” You heard Ginny ask, your eyes darting over to Hagrid large frame before you let out a choked gasp, eyes widening when you realise just who it is.

“Harry Potter…is dead.” Your heart aches at the words, tears appearing in your eyes. Ginny dove forward, Mr Weasley grabbing her before Voldemort got to her. “Harry Potter is dead.” Voldemort confirmed. You looked around at the sea of faces all with disbelief written on them. “Harry Potter is dead!” Voldemort yells again, gaining a laugh from his followers, several sobs could be heard from around you. George nudged you as Neville stepped forward, your eyes squinting as he stopped before Voldemort.

“We lost Harry tonight. But he’s still with us, in here. All of them are. They didn’t die in vain. But you will because you’re wrong.” After his speech he pulled the sword of Gryffindor out of the hat, causing a few people to let out a gasp. You let out a cheer when you saw Harry push his way out of Hagrid’s arms. Laughed at Voldermort’s fear. George tugged you into the castle and wrapped you in his arms, you looked and saw Fred was missing, turning to look at George he whispered that Fred had been taken to Saint Mungos. You watched wide-eyed as Mrs Weasley killed Bellatrix, George kissing your head.

Not long after it was announced that Harry had, finally, killed Voldemort, you and the Weasley Clan, plus Harry and Hermione, sat in the waiting room of Saint Mungo’s waiting for any news about Fred. Up until now you’d ignored the pain in your leg, your pain didn’t seem much considering you were sat waiting to see if your best friend was going to live or die, but as you pulled your pants leg up George gasped at you, attracting the attention of his family.

“Y/N, why didn’t you mention anything?” The cut of your leg was deep, really deep. When a nurse was called over she was shocked you hadn’t passed out from blood loss yet, guess adrenaline really did help when you were in pain. As the nurse healed it you leaned your head on George’s shoulder and shut your eyes. The next time you opened them was when George shook you awake, your leg healed, and a wide grin on his face.

“Fred’s alive! C’mon, c’mon, let’s go!” He pulled you up and into Fred’s room, where a pale Fred sat upright drinking potions a tired looking nurse gave him. When he saw you two in the room he grinned and started asking you both hundreds of questions which you answered, the humour that had been drained from them now back in full swing, even if Fred was weak and going to be stuck on bed rest for a few weeks.

“Now that Fred’s home and feeling better,” Mrs Weasley began, “let’s make the most of the holidays before we begin working on Hogwarts so that you can go back and have one normal year.” Everyone around the table grinned and clinked their glasses together before digging in.

It had taken a few weeks but Fred was back home. Things were finally looking up for everybody, you and George had been going to Hogwarts, along with most other members of the family, to see where you could help. A proper team was being put together so it was organised and rebuilt faster and more efficiently. You had all attended funerals and spent many days not moving from the house, trying to come to terms with everything. There were bad days but after everything that was witnessed, who was surprised.

After you had eaten everyone moved to the garden. The entire Weasley family was here, even Charlie who was so cool and would talk about dragons with you all day. Staring at the setting sun you looked over at George and pressed a kiss to his lips, he smiled and deepened the kiss before pulling away. You looked at his face and saw he was deep in thought before he jumped up shouting a “be right back” over his shoulder before running upstairs. You looked towards Fred with a questioning look, but he just grinned at you before you shrugged to yourself and joining back in with the group.

Five minuets or so later, George came back down the stairs looking nervous and red. You raised a brow at him wondering just what he was planning, he grinned at you before coming over and standing in front of you.

“Hey,” He laughed nervously, “so, Merlin this is awkward. I love you so much and after everything that’s happened recently its really put things into prospective for me and I want you in my life, always. I can’t picture a life without you in it,” at this point everyone’s attention was on the two of you, “I guess what I’m trying to say is, I love you Y/N Y/L/N so would you do be the honour of marrying me?” Your eyes filled with tears, honestly all you had done since the beginning of the battle is cry, at least this time it was happy tears. Your lack of response caused George’s grin to falter but you were quickly standing up and throwing your arms around him, leaning upwards to kiss him. He immediately responded back just as eagerly until you were pulled apart by Fred clearing his throat. “You know if you marry him, I’m a package deal?” He asked causing you to laugh and place a kiss on his cheek.

“Is that a yes?” George asked, a ring held between his fingers. “Merlin’s beard! Of course it’s a yes, you idiot!” You laughed before pulling him into another kiss as everyone around you cheered.
