What Can We Learn From Xiaolin Showdown?

What can we learn from Xiaolin Showdown?

Kimiko knows that stereotypes need not apply; Raimundo proves that our past does not define us, but what we learn from it does; Omi teaches us that pride can be both our strength and our downfall; Clay tells us that ‘complicated’ doesn’t always mean ‘efficient;’ Dojo shows that courage can go a long way; Master Fung makes us realize our elders can teach us much; Chase is evidence that even the good can fall.

Tell me this show isn’t amazing.

Okay if you write. Listen to me.

Set a daily word goal. Not a big one, because you won't be able to make it every day, you will likely procrastinate and not write at all, or feel guilty about not making the goal.

Set a small goal. Set a tiny goal if you have to.

400? Amazing. 100? Wonderful. 50? Heck yes. One fucking sentance? VALID.

Mine is 200 words a day. I haven't felt particularly inspired recently, but over the past month I've written at least 200 words nearly every day.

Which leads me into my next point: if you have to skip a day THAT'S OKAY. There will come a day when you feel really inspired and write 2000 words, and you'll make it up.

Sometimes I write 200 words and then my creativity runs out, but sometimes I sit down and write a whole lot.

Since I started doing this, my story has progressed so fast, and I feel like this is probably going to be the first full-length novel I finish.

Obviously this method isn't for everyone, but I recommend you try it. If it doesn't work for you that's fine! Find something that does.

For me it is one of the most beautiful sequences of this movie! The bond between the two is miraculous and their little games are so cute 🥹❤️ surely we will see a closeness in the next movie 🥰

do you think pandabubba kind of ruined pandas for kimiko? i remember her painting little pandas on her fingernails in one ep so she must have liked them but she probably likes them less since they're his fursona now i think

Kimiko's not the type to let someone else ruin a good aesthetic for her. She was very proud of the nail art she did of pandas, and despising Pandabubba isn't going to make her throw that away.

She'd probably to like pandas even more out of pure spite.

Do You Think Pandabubba Kind Of Ruined Pandas For Kimiko? I Remember Her Painting Little Pandas On Her

She'd even lean into it and incorporate them into outfits when they're heading into a mission they'll run into him on, because Kimiko would happily egg Pandabubba on about how she thinks she pulls off the panda style way better than he does. She'd tell him he gives pandas a bad name. She'd say his manicure looks cheap.

She'd show up to a fight in a whole panda kigurumi, and if Pandabubba comments on it, she'd dismissively look over his outfit and say "Was that ugly getup of yours supposed to be panda-themed? Couldn't even tell. It helps sell the aesthetic if you know how to dress yourself, you know. Poser."
