"Babe?" You said sleepily while letting out a small yawn and feeling around her side of the only to come up literally empty-handed. "Baby?" You asked walking out of your shared room hearing a faint "In the kitchen love" prompting you to walk a bit faster down the hallway, barely sparing a glance at the pictures of the two of you with your (dog/cat) that decorated the walls.

"Whatcha making?" You said barely awake, giving her a hug from behind "I thought I'd make you something special" she said with a smile while leaning to the left to allow you to peak past her to see your favourite.  "God I love you" you mumbled, while she gave you a peck on the forehead "And I love you but I would also love a set table" she said while you laughed "So demanding" you mumbled while bending down to pet (P/N) before going to grab the plates. "I can feel you staring at my ass," you said while she only laughed.

A/N: I know this was an anon request from awhile ago so sorry it took so long 🤍 :)

“Karli, Karli wait!” you yelled as you ran after her through the park, fleeing the scene of Nico’s death. Running to try and catch up to her while the noise from the main street started to fade only leaving the pounding of your boots against the ground. Watching the new so-called ‘Captain America’ smash that shield into Nico was one of the hardest things you've ever had to witness. Although you didn't know him well his murder still sadend you, although you could only assume Karli was taking it much worse. “Karli please!” you pleaded, finally being close enough to grab her shoulder while she slowed down only to push your hand away.

“You should go back to the safe house to help pack up, we’ll be leaving soon,” she said continuing to walk through the trees in the deserted park. “I'm not leaving without you,” you said pulling back the branch she had previously let swing back to its original place “I’m not leaving without you” she scoffed under her breather before stopping in her tracks making you bump into her. “You're not leaving without me huh?” she said angrily turning around only to step forward, inches away from your face. “I’m your leader, I'm in command and that was an order-Why won't you just leave me alone?” she yelled cutting herself off while you stood there furious.

“Because I love you!” you screamed back at her while trying to catch your breath although before you had the chance she cupped your face and pressed her lips to yours.

Surprised and still slightly upset, you kissed her back forcefully while throwing your arms around her shoulders. Reluctantly parting for air you leaned your forehead against her with a smile. Rolling her eyes with a grin she quickly pecked your lips “I’m sorry, it's just-” she started to say “I know it's getting harder,” you cut her off “You have every right and reason to be upset, the Flag Smashers are your life but you knew when you started this everyone wasn't going to make it to the finish line” you said with a bitter smile while she moved her hand to your waist enveloping you in a hug. “Our life” she repeated into your should giving your collarbone a quick kiss.

“I love you so much Pumpkin, you know that?” she says smiling into your neck before looking back at you. “You know, I can probably have Dovitch pack up tonight,” she says with a smirk “Yeah?” you asked amused while she separated from you only leaving your hands intertwined. “Yeah, they won't miss us that much,” she said leading you out of the trees with a smile.

“Nice to see you again (L/N)” Karli said while you swiftly dodged a punch thrown your way.

"Likewise" you replied curtly while taking a swing at her "You know (N/N) I think you'd make a nice addition to the team," she said while ducking a punch "Oh yeah?" You asked amused, finally landing a blow to her side.

"I might have considered-" you said as she swept your legs out from under you "-If I didn't already have a team" you finished while pushing yourself off the ground while she laughed, slowly starting to circle you."

Hey I hate to break up whatever weird thing you got going on (Y/N) but if you don't make a move soon Walkers gonna come and do it for you” Bucky said in your earpiece making you sigh.

"Sorry Babes but I have places to be" Karli chuckled while you were momentarily distracted, giving her the perfect opportunity to kick you in the chest knocking you onto the ground along with the wind out of your lungs.

Hearing a laugh in the comms from Bucky and a faint "No hard feelings doll!" from a retreating Karli you only murmured a faint "Shit" while you groaned, sitting up to hit the ground with your fist only be called for backup by Sam.
