I would love to have a president (talking about the US) who is a tumblr person. I think that would be a really interesting platform, like the issues they raise awareness for, and when they meet people and try to make jokes, all the jokes would be very tumblr. Jokes referring to color theory and horse pinko and vanilla extract, and they could refer to their spouse as their blorbo.

And the best part. They stole their shoelaces from the president.

I haven't researched this or anything, but I am a firm believer that the reason women get small pockets is because big pockets (particularly in tighter pants) bunch up and the patriarchy says women need curvy hips not bunches of fabric.

But also, as a thrift store employee, if I can't tell if a pair of pants is women's or men's, I put my hand in the pocket. If they are fake pockets or I can barely fit my hand, they're women's.

We spend so much time arguing about corsets when we could be spreading the gospel of "women's clothes DID used to have pockets and they were F*CKING HUGE and we should bring them back"

One of my favorite things about fandoms, is how people use their own areas of interest and knowledge to analyze and expound on media. Especially with children's or family media.

Like when people break down themes in Tangled and talk about the gaslighting or the way Mother Gothel tilts Rapunzel's head down to kiss her hair and pulled her hair out from behind her ear, whereas Flynn/Eugene tucks in behind her ear and tilts her head up to kiss her. Or point out details in The Hunger Games, like the bottles of whatever in Catching Fire that people in the Capitol drink so they vomit and can eat more and how that relates to the real world and how the wealthy 1% treats the needs of the lower class. Or the stereotypes and misrepresentations in Harry Potter.

And a different side of this same idea that I love, is how fandoms also grow the media. Not in fanart or fics or whatever (although i am a huge fan of that,) I'm thinking more about how people interact with characters. Adding to how characters think or feel or interact with each other. Like incorrect quotes, but also breaking down relationships and discussing how two characters depend on each other, things like that.

I find it highly amusing how in situations where the ninja are separated/it's just the OG four, Kai and Zane immediately assume control/start spearheading the team because apparently no one else is sane enough or in the right mind to do so.

Your honour, they literally have one of the best dynamics in the show, with how they're probably the most protective people in the team. And it makes me mad how this is overlooked by the fandom and the show.
