Do you like the Broken Empire? Slay. Me too. I started this fanfiction over a year ago and I am SO excited to announce that the first chapter is finally published! This was a huge labor of love and I would be so honored if you read it.
Description
Life in the Broken Empire is brutal. To survive, you must be worse. Among the Brotherhood, there is no shortage of brutality. Brother Sim – young, slight, soft-spoken – might seem out of place there. But bandits do not let their rank skate by on good will. Sim can be whatever he needs to be, and often, what he needs to be is ruthless. Many choices shape a man – not just his own. How the boy known as Sim came to be is quite the tale to tell.
Yesterday morning I had the round reading room at the library completely to myself.
Okay I gave it some time to steep + a good stir. It tastes good! It's hard to feel like I love and respect myself while drinking it, though. I'll report back if I die.
