there is an excellence to fog, I think. it hides the hidden shelters the sheltered smears light on its fingers till there’s half as much left it rubs lines into smudges scaring the scared breathes moisture to plants calming the calm plucks the blur from your thoughts and spreads it, smooths it, into trees roads stars until your mind is clear and your path is not.
