Honey you will not have to lift a single finger while you're sick. Redson is especially attentive in making sure you're resting and not trying to strain yourself.

Mei is the one who helps make food and what not for you. She notes your favorite type of soup, juice, fruits and veg, so that way you can get healthy and it'll taste good.

MK keeps you entertained! He plays games with you(so do the others, but he's the most likely to want to distract you from how much it sucks being sick), watches cartoons with you, etc.

Redson and MK are the ones convincing you to take the medicine. They know it tastes bad, but if you don't do it, you'll be sick for longer. Mei is the neutral party here, sometimes jokingly assisting you in getting away from them and sometimes scooping you up so you can get caught by them. It's a gamble every time!

With masks on, they all cuddle you. You're a comfy blanket burrito and they're all around you as you guys watch a movie!

They feel bad you can't go do the things you want, like go to the park and stuff, but they also know it's for the best you're at home and not getting other people sick.

Redson and Mei are the ones who are at home the most, with MK doing deliveries and training, so they like playing with you. Both enjoy doing pretend tea parties and no one can change my mind.

They literally love you so much, your adorable and precious to them, but please oh my goodness don't cough right on the blanket ;-;

They promise that once you're healthy again, they'll take you wherever you want to make up for lost activities!

Alrighty, I’m here for some angst. How would the following characters: Macaque, Wukong, Syntax, Mayor and Red Son react to you dying in front of them? Like possibly from LBD or you took a hit for them?

I'm really sorry but I refuse to write character/reader deaths :( it just upsets me a great deal. However. I will write these characters reacting to you taking a hit bc I still wanna write their reactions

Macaque, Wukong, Syntax, Mayor, and Redson x GN Reader who took a hit from LBD (angsty Scenarios!)

Macaque - oh he feels terrible. Not only did he kinda let this happen, it’s you who got hurt instead of himself. He was fully prepared to take that hit but you jumped in before it got to him and he hates the sound it makes as it impacts you. He swears to himself that he’ll make it up to you somehow, he’ll be the one to get you to safety, he will heal you. Expect a lot of affection once it’s all over. A lot of “I’m sorry”’s and “does it hurt”’s. You are his top priority.

SWK - he let himself down by letting you get remotely close to the fight, but it’s like you don’t think twice before jumping in between him and LBD. No matter how hurt you get—even if it ends up just being a flesh wound—he puts even more passion into finishing the fight and defeating her. After it’s over he doesn’t let you leave his sight for a while so you can recover. It’ll take a lot of reassurance from you for him to stop feeling so guilty.

Syntax - I imagine this would take place towards the end of season 2. He doesn’t trust this weird girl and her even weirder assistant. So when you get hit instead of him when they betray the Queen, his suspicions are only confirmed. He knows he can’t defeat them, but he does his absolute best to get you to a safer place where he can apply his medical knowledge and help you. He brings you everything you need and insists that you stay here so you don’t get hurt again. More angry than anything else.

Mayor - this is bad for him because he is fighting an inside battle—does he side with his lady, or his lover? He can’t fully break away from her influence until she abandons him to get to SWK. Then, even though he’s weakened substantially, he helps to get you to safety. You have to make it, even if he doesn’t. After it’s all over, he stays with you as you both recover together and get back on your feet.

Redson - this demon is FURIOUS. He can scold you for doing something so stupidly selfless later on—for now he needs to get you out of danger. Puts up as much of a fight as he can and then rushes you back to his domain, where he puts magic seals around you that will help you to heal and keep you safe while he’s away helping the others. Comes back often to check on you and apologize that he let this happen. After it’s over he encourages you to stay with him at his home until you’re fully healed.

"tumblr doesn't have an algorithm so likes are WORTHLESS they do NOTHING" well actually likes tell me that people liked my post. they have worth because they show me people saw my post and enjoyed it. that's still interaction even if it doesn't give an extra boost to make Number Go Up even more. yeah I generally get more out of written feedback in tags/replies but likes are still Something, they aren't people telling me "fuck you I'm not sharing your post" they're people telling me "hehe I give your post little a like as a treat."

Platonic Comfort Oneshot!

The Mayor knew how much his lovely intern enjoyed their job with him at the office. He tried to make things as fun as he could with what he was given, which honestly wasn’t a lot simply because…well, it was politics. His intern met every deadline, went to every meeting, really did more than asked of them and he could never truly show them how grateful he was for them. But as of late they were ignoring him. Always writing notes. Always rushing to and fro. He hardly had the speed to catch up with them and ask them what was going on. But that stopped today—he was going to call a meeting with them directly so he could figure out what was wrong.

He sat at his large desk and fiddled with some loose pencils while he waited for them to enter. If he was correct—he usually was—they would be here in three, two…

“Ah, sorry I’m late! I wasn’t watching the time, I got caught up in some emails—“

“Y/n, relax. You’re right on time.” He cut them off, gesturing to the seat across from him. He saw a little weight leave their shoulders, but he could also see how much remained. Yikes.

“Oh. That’s good, then!” They sat down stiffly. It was like they were a ticking time bomb, bound to explode any second. “What’s going on? What can I do?”

“Well, what you can do for starters is tell me why you’ve been ignoring me. I hope I haven’t done anything to upset you.”

“No, no, not at all! I’ve just been trying to get everything done and it’s all on my own.” They waved their hands to dismiss the thought. His smile remained consistent, however his brows furrowed. Now that they were across from him, he could see the deep dark circles under their eyes.

“Why are you doing it on your own? You’re not supposed to do my whole job for me!”

“I just don’t want to stress you out. You should be able to relax!” They insisted.

“Dear y/n, I appreciate that. But trust me. I’ve got the right balance of work and life. However you seem to have the opposite. According to the charts, you’ve been pulling a lot of overtime. And my suspicion is that you’ve been going even beyond that at home.”

He tried to meet their eyes. But they only stared at the ground as their frown deepened. He could see them trying not to cry.

“Y/n? Here, have some water, alright? Take your time and talk to me.” He reached into the mini fridge he had under his desk and handed them a small bottle of water that they took with tremorous hands. But once they had successfully opened it, the first tears fell. From there, the whole dam burst open, and he got up and went around his desk to console them with a box of tissues in hand.

“I’m sorry, sir. I really am. I don’t know what to do.” They sobbed. Their shoulders were hunched in as they gripped at their own arms.

“No need for apologies, alright? I promise. You’re not in trouble, no one is upset at you. In fact, everyone is quite impressed with you!” He patted them on the back. “You need to tone it down. I will help you to split work evenly between you and me, okay? We’re a team!”

“Yeah, we are!” They laughed in between tears. He stayed with them, and when his phone rang, he went and told them to call back later. This was far more important, in his opinion.

“Do me a favor. Go on your lunch break—do not take any kind of work with you—and then when you get back, come see me. We’ll sort you out. Does that sound good?”

Their sobs had reduced to sniffles by now and he was happy to see them able to breathe properly again. They nodded and dusted themselves off.

“Thank you, Mayor. I appreciate it.”

“Anytime, dear y/n.”

I read your lmk characters visiting your parents and can I just say that I love your writing very much! Especially the emotions and feelings being within them. Do you mind doing another few LMK characters visiting your parents as well just like previous one? The following characters I have in mind are Mayor, Syntax and MK?

Mayor, Syntax, and MK Meeting S/O's parents Headcanons! (Romantic!)

Mayor - this man does everything to blend in and impress people. It’s not everyday that someone chooses to date a zombie, so he wants to make sure no matter what he is dating his s/o and is accepted by their parents. He probably brings along something for dinner that he made himself, to show them that he’s skilled. He’s very chill, but s/o knows he’s worried. Their parents welcome him very warmly, and he is more than relieved. He loves that they’re so loving toward their child and are accepting him. They talk about everything, like what it’s like for him to be mayor, how long he’s been seeing s/o, etc! By the end of the night, he goes home with s/o feeling very happy.

Syntax - oh lord. He’s fully prepared for the worst. He’s not only a menacing half spider, he’s got little to no social skills. It was a miracle for him to end up dating someone so sweet, but it’ll take another miracle for him to make it through this meeting. But he is SHOCKED when the parents are just….chill? With him being there, dating their kid? Shaking through every conversation, still processing the fact this is happening, man’s is anxious. But they love him and how intelligent he is, and how well he clicks with his s/o. After he gets home, he cries about it, but it’s more because he’s happy he won’t have to worry about it anymore.

MK - sweet boy still being sweet. He’s the least worried out of everyone when it comes to this scenario. Pigsy helps him make some kind of baked goods to bring with him to the meeting. And when he actually meets the parents, it’s the easiest interaction of his life! They’re super nice to him, they treat him almost like he’s their own son, it’s SO wholesome. He answers any questions they have about his powers and what not very honestly. It’s no sweat for him to make a good impression! The parents would definitely be like “oh he’s such a nice young man, you should bring him around more often!” And they are RIGHT. 100/10
