It’s disheartening when you write the longest, most complex fic of your entire fanfic career and it tanks. No comments and only 14 kudos, only two of which I can verify as actually being from humans as opposed to bots. Everything else I’ve written has done far better in the same amount of time. The worst part is there isn’t even any way of finding out what went wrong.

It's so tragic that Dany romanticised Rhaegar and Lyanna story to the point she compared the couple with herself and Drogo/Daario. The fact that Drogo and Daario are the grown ass men who exploits Dany vulnerability makes them more close to Rhaegar.

Dany is a teenaged girl and imagines a romantic scenario and cannot see how the parallels are there but not in any kind of romance. It's in the exploitation and objectification and the complete mismatch of intentions and emotional investment.

Dany is an abused child who doesn't know or understand love and she imagines it where it doesn't exist. The profound inability to even grasp her own loneliness and isolation for what it is... deeply tragic.

I feel like maybe a reason why Utahime isn’t awed by Gojo’s powers and stuff is cause she knows that with her technique, he can do better.

Are these the same people who are like 'Lyanna Targaryen' ?? No children, she cannot have a royal title until Rickard Stark, her father or her grandfather declares himself as King in the North.

Lyanna stans have a big mouth for criticizing Elia/Rhaegar ship and calling it unrealistic (when they were literally married in the books and had 2 kids). But they are the same people who ship Lyanna/Jaime, Lyanna/Arthur, and many others. Mind you, there is not a single reference in the books to these relationships. But you know who does. Elia Martell has a correlation with these men and it is a Canon according to the books and she had several suitors before she married Rhaegar. So once again Lyanna stans are jealous because their bitch doesn't have that by the way they call her Princess Lyanna and there is no way she can be a princess. It's completely unrealistic. Even if she married Rhaegar, the most she would get is a noble lady. Elia Martell is already a princess because that's her birth title, she didn't get it from Rhaegar. Elia is her own person.

(Also just because elia stans posted fan art of elia with rhaegar doesn't mean they like rhaegar. It's too big for your little mind to comprehend).

i do understand that lyanna having a bastard makes every “but what if it wasn’t a love story” theory kinda wild but the idea that they were in love makes rhaegar’s “let’s hide out in dorne until you give birth” plan JUST AS WILD. if they were in love, why does he effectively abandon her without any sort of medical help in the tower?? if they were in love why does he sneak off with her?? if they were in love, why did he do NOTHING to ensure some sort of safety and status for her at court??

if lyanna’s problem with robert was his bastards, why is SHE having someone’s bastard? if they got valyrian married, again why are they HIDING OUT, why did he ABDUCT HER, why was it so important that she spent a year isolated in a tower with no family, no support, no midwives or maesters around??

the entire tower of joy plot is WEIRD and NONSENSICAL EVEN MORE if they were in love!!!!!

The story wouldn't have started if... I mean Jaime is catalyst of everything.

He killed the Mad King ending the Targaryens reign.

He fucked Cersei resulting in Robert having no royal legitimate heirs.

He pushed Bran out of the window and thank to that Bran is going to meet the 3 eyed Raven and maybe the world would be saved?

He attacked Ned Stark the Hand of the King in streets and then ran off to escalate the war because his brother was captured.

He freed Tyrion. Thanks to that Aegon is coming to Westeros and Dany gained a advisor and Tywin Lannister died.

He helped Brienne and maybe because of that Sansa or Lady Stoneheart someone will be helped. In the show Sansa was able to reach Jon because of that.

He is the father of two kings by now.

Also the Lord Commander of Kingsguard.

For all we know he may even kill Cersei.

Also 'jaime Lannister sends his regard'

He may have even saved the House Tully from extinction.

So if anyone is a side character than that is Rhaegar Targaryen, he is just the ghost who started the war before but never like The Kingslayer.

Rhaegar Stans have really deluded themselves into believing their head canons and think he and Lyanna Stark are part of the *Key 5* because why did I just see a Rhaegar Stan call …Jaime Lannister an irrelevant side character …
