Tua S3 Spoilers - Tumblr Posts
Things about the Umbrella Academy’s childhood we’ve been told:
Viktor used to cry when the others stepped on ants
Diego told Klaus that he would grow pubes if he licked a battery when they were 8
Luther used to marry Viktor’s action figures; Viktor caught him doing that
Ben and Diego made Allison’s Teddy say “Luther smells Dad’s underwear”
Klaus broke his jaw when he was 12 years old after falling down the stairs trying to walk on Grace’s heels
After Five went missing Viktor would make sandwiches for him and leave them on the ground with the light on
Allison rumored her way into a soccer club
Diego and Klaus huffed paint together in the basement
Luther wanted to go to summer camp; Reginald told him he would never go
Them being best friends again was everything I needed
I just love the fact that Five is such a typical old man. Like he was so eager to see the biggest ball of twine and just go on a road trip to see probably incredibly mundane things. How much he craves to just live a normal life without having to save the world. If he was in the right body, at least. I can't imagine him living without his powers, an old man stuck as a child, is going to go well. He's going to end up getting into trouble he can't get out of. Or end up in school. I don't know what's worse for him

Ep 310 iPhone Caught Aidan on his mark as we adjusted a Guardian costume before rolling. I was right place, right time as Aidan stayed focussed in DOP @cwrobleski gorgeous light.
Yeah.
There's something icky about how no one wants to hate on any of the male characters, or the white characters, but then claim that it has nothing to do with that because of how much they love Viktor and Klaus and the queer community.
The lack of intersectionality from people who claim to be "down with the cause" and have blm in their bio, and call themselves feminists, are the same ones who drop that intersectionality when Allison becomes scary and mean, and is no longer racially palatable as your manic pixie lightskin and is instead angry and grieving.
Obviously, I'm not excusing Allison's behaviour in this season (what the actual fuck) I just think a lot of people get caught up in this subliminal hatred for Allison that's born from racism in white feminist and white queer spaces, because those are the dominant forces in the fandom, and they haven't always been racially inclusive.
It's the way I'm seeing people say Allison is a horrible rancid and irredeemable bitch who deserves to die, and not even For That Scene (I plan to write a post about), but for her cruel words to Viktor.
I've seen people say that she didn't have as bad a childhood compared to them so she has no excuse, and she is completely unjustified in her anger (her words and actions aren't okay, they aren't meant to be and we arent meant to think that, but her anger justified and it makes sense why she's in this state of mind), she is self-absorbed in her pain since the others also lost stuff and "got over theirs". Fuck, I've even seen people bring back around her childhood rumor to Viktor, once again blaming her. I swear I've even see people straight up fucking lie and say she was terrible to Viktor, as if she wasn't in his side for two seasons. As if she didn't choose Viktor over the world, a world including her daughter.
And its just incredibly disturbing to me, because I know deep inside they would never react that way if Viktor had said something or done something cruel to her. And before anyone can say "there is no way you could know that", I literally do. Because I saw it. There was never this reaction when Viktor threatened and screamed at Allison, and then, accidentally, but nonetheless, slitting Allison's throat and literally almost killing her. In fact I saw and still see people undermine the gravity of that situation and moment.
We know why that is.
ok so I'm pretty certain this has been brought up by many people since the release of s3 but how do Klaus's powers actually work? Do people turn to ghosts immediately after they die or is there some kind of process? Because if they become ghosts straight away wouldn't he have seen Jayme and Alphonso's ghosts after they die in ep3? On the other hand, if the dead only become ghosts when they have unfinished business, that still doesn't explain why the two don't haunt Klaus or the other Umbrellas.
I feel like they wouldn't be the type to get over getting brutally murdered by some randos that broke into their house and would take any opportunity to terrorise them. I get that the Sparrows are supposed to not really be a family so /maybe/ they didn't think their siblings would care that they died but we can literally see both Fei and Sloane get super upset that their siblings got murdered so they can't have not known how much the others care right?
I get why the writers didn't add ghost Jayme and Alphonso to Klaus's already very packed s3 storyline but I feel like some kind of explanation would've been nice. Maybe they could've tied it tp something to do with the Kugelblitz (is that how you spell it 😭)?
hello someone please see this and draw a disgruntled five on the subway because he now has to take normal transporation now that he can no longer teleport
i beg of you
and also draw luther going to the gym and just like fuckin collapsing because he’s not used to weights being this heavy
hello someone please see this and draw a disgruntled five on the subway because he now has to take normal transporation now that he can no longer teleport
i beg of you
so like reginald rewrote the universe right
and as someone who has not watched the post credit scene i am going to assume everything is the same except hargrees slapped his name on literally everything
that and the absence of sloane and their powers are the only difference so like
would klaus’ cult still be vibing since reginald probably doesn’t know they exist
i would love to see klaus thinking he’s just free now and wandering down the street when
“PROPHET?????”
anyway y’all are telling me klaus can somehow bring his ass back to life after being like fucking thanos snapped in s3 but can’t resurrect himself in s1???? when he had a perfectly fine body to go back to???
diego dropped the knife he was trying to spin right
so does that mean he doesn’t actually know how to spin a knife without his powers
you ever think he was just casually doing tricks with weapons and someone was like “yoooo that’s cool can you teach me how to do that” and he just starts sweating like “uhhhhhhh well you see it’s probably dangerous for you because y’know I know my way around knives” then they just hold up a pen like “no problem! im sure it’ll still work if i use a pen” and he just. sweats.
show me the hargreeves constantly forgetting that their powers are gone in s4
luther offers to help move furniture for this person and tries to lift it with one arm diego challenges someone to a game of darts and loses horribly klaus swears at someone in a cemetery who he thought was a ghost five tries to teleport across the room because something is falling ben attempts to get something from a high shelf with his tentacles
still not over how every single car that hit klaus just did a hit and run. not ONE car stopped. it didn’t even look like any of them tried to slow down. like they are literally in the middle of nowhere what the fuck else are they looking at. did all of them just zone out or smthn.
i think that five should attempt to blink down the stairs and end up falling down and breaking a bone and get intensely annoyed because now he can move even less
Allison Hargreeves - a vent
So this is just a vent
I was re-watching the Umbrella Academy season 3 and oh my dear god
I just saw the seventh episode and I want Allison to just drop dead and never come back up
and I get all those people saying they liked her in previous seasons, I get it guys I do. I did not. always knew there was something going on something was wrong she would snap. her allgood kind to everyone didn't seem right (I mean maybe you can call it trauma that I don't believe it when someone is nice but come on when a family is that fucked up just- okay) and she got 'everything' in her life that Viktor supposedly stole from her was not hers to begin with. She manipulated things to be her way. Not to mention she raped not one but two men - Patrick and Luther(currently ignoring the FACT that Luther is her brother but okay)
and her blaming Viktor for everything I just...
small detail Mrs. Chestnut you rumored him(then her) in forgetting he even had powers and to do that you were taken to the exact room he was locked in and you didn't tell anyone anything. Fine, you're daddy's little princess and didn't tell Viktor about rumouring him but after Reginald was dead? After everything started going to shit it didn't hit you like "Whoa hold on a minute our sister(brother) also has powers maybe that would help" no? If you had just use basic common sense on MULTIPLE occasions instead of manipulating your way out of them maybe just MAYBE you wouldn't have 'lost' everything
I really suggest going to read - https://www.reddit.com/r/UmbrellaAcademy/comments/vjl1lh/about_allisons_behavior_in_season_3_and_how_its/ on Reddit cause this just sums everything up. I wasn't on reddit until recently and god yes- i have found other people who realise exactly how Allison's character is since the beginning
