there was a twinge of annoyance in his features as his attention settled on the other, but as the man teased and answered him elgin began to soften. resting his elbow on the bar as he watched and listened to the other with a hint of amusement in the line of his brow and the curve of his lips, elgin almost instantly relaxed and calmed down as the other so effortlessly reached over the bar and stole two full bottles of liquor without the bartender even noticing. that's one way to get what you want.

"here i thought people that lived in idyllic little towns like this played by the rules." he teased back. "being in trouble is a favored past-time of mine, so i'm not against brazenly drinking in front of them," he added on with a nod towards the still oblivious bartender, "but i like the idea of getting a table in the back more. gives us more time to actually enjoy the damn things; and, hell, means we might be able to keep you getting sucked by a pretty face like me still on the table." pushing away from the bar, he reached out to take one of the stolen bottles for himself before nodding towards the back of the bar. "shall we?"

It wasn't uncommmon for Kai to make his appearance at the bar from time to time. While he did derive most of his thrill from hunting the random townspeople around the city, he couldn't do it at such a frequent rate that he used to before he appeared here. It was would raise too many questions and cause too many eyes to start looking in his direction. Kai did love the little cat-and-mouse game he played with the police department, but even he knew when to draw his limits. So, he satiated his bloodlust and boredom with a drink or two. It certainly wasn't the same, but it helped pass the time. And it didn't hurt that there was always a cute face or two for him to look at.

As he idly sipped away at his cocktail, Kai's inner thoughts were interrupted by the man sitting next to him. The vampire tilted his head to the side, processing what the words were. Something about a drink, wanting a drink for someone new. The young man stared blankly at the other, considering if he was worth having a little fun with, before grinning brightly at him. "Well, if it's a drink you're looking for, why bother waiting and asking? Although I wouldn't mind getting sucked by a pretty face like you..." he teased. Kai leaned over the countertop when the bartender was at the other end of the table, snagging two bottles of some drink and handing one to the stranger. "Want to grab a table in the back? I doubt they'll be very happy coming back and seeing us drinking straight from their bottles. Unless you like being in trouble."

moving through the crowd one of the first things he noticed was truly how different this bar was to the one's back home. there was no second story for VIP guests only, there were hardly any security guards lingering against the walls. pantheon was smaller; much smaller-- but he didn't mind it. in fact, it made the bar feel more congested which would only play into their favor as they snuck off to a secluded booth in the corner.

sliding into the seat with a cocky, toothy, grin, fist tight around the neck of the stolen bottle, he looked over at the other and lifted his bottle in a faux cheer before popping the cap off and drinking from it straight. "from what i've heard people have reason to be anxious. something about a crack and some masked men," he poorly explained with a dismissive wave of his left hand, "though, back in my day, that was hardly something to be worried about. that was a typical tuesday night." he teased. "careful, gorgeous, keep calling me pretty and might forget how to act." huffing out a sigh, he reclined against the booth, his arms stretched out over the top of the seat, and relaxed. "i definitely intend to drink but not because i'm trying to drown anything, i just like to end my days with something stiff." he smirked. "if i'm being honest? i'm always up to having fun but it's been a bit of time since i've outright caused any trouble. i moreso clean it up. what about you?" elgin glanced over, bottle pressed back to his lips again. "what's your deal?"

The vampire smiled as the other man took one of the stolen bottles for himself. Kai bounced up to his feet, hopping off the barstool and nodding his head in excitement. Oh, now he was going to have some fun tonight, it seemed. "Lead the way, bad boy," he teased as he held the other bottle in his hands. As they made their way past the various groups of patrons at the bar, he spotted a more secluded corner booth, still unoccupied and out of view from the ignorant bartender.

Sliding into one the booth without a second thought, Kai glanced back at the other man with a silly grin on his lips. "Well, lucky for you, I didn't grow up in this idyllic little town. If you asked me, this town could use some shaking up anyways. Everyone's so uptight and anxious these days; it's like everyone forgot how to have fun," he said with a heavy sigh, as if he were actually bothered by the situation. "So, pretty face, what's your deal? You looking to cause trouble? Have some fun? Or just drink the night away and forget about all your troubels?"

"i come from a family that thrived on fear and control." he answered plainly. "back home, our family name is synonymous with blood-- and not just because we're vampires." that did make the irony of it almost comical though. "i'll admit i don't know much about this crack but the way everyone is fussing over it is fascinating. makes me wonder if anyone here actually knows what life is like on the other side of the barrier or if they've all been drinking the kool-aid so long they forgot. i wonder what they'd taste like. i've never had sheep before." the monster he used to be hadn't left him completely yet.

"ha," he laughed loudly. "that was just to get people attention since flagging down the bartender wasn't working." he lied. "but, between you and i, i wasn't joking when i said the offer was still on the table for you." taking another swig of his bottle, he then the container down on the table and slid closer to the other; his left hand reaching out to rest on the other's thigh. "i can forget how to act right now if you want. i'm ready to suck you off." the vampire smirked.

"why do you think i'm here?" he added on with a dramatic sigh as he fell back to lean against the booth's cushioned seat. "i got bored of cleaning up messes, especially when they weren't even my own. i figured if that's the route my life was headed i would get out while it was still good and find a place i could settle into and live freely." and eventually bring his little brother to join him.

"i can't imagine someone like you struggles to find someone to keep up with your fun. i'm sure you have plenty of other omega's throwing themselves at you," like he wasn't? "eager to keep up with you."

Making himself comfortable in their new location, Kai raised his own bottle up in response to the cheers. He took a swig from it, settling into the leather seating of the booth and looking at the other man with an amused expression. "Oh, sounds like you've been around your fair share of danger then. Color me intrigued then," he hummed, leaning forward a bit out of interest. "Always happy to see another person who has a bigger perspective on things than this little town crack. Why worry about that when you could be doing so much more with your time and energy?"

Kai grinned at the teasing words, only shrugging his shoulders in response. "What if I want to see you forgetting how to act? You were practically ready to suck off anyone for a drink. With a face like that, you should at least be pickier about your options," he teased. The vampire made a face at the idea of cleaning up messes, gesturing for Elgin to take another drink from his bottle. "Sounds like you need this drink more than I do. Cleaning up messes? Doesn't that ever get boring?"

"My deal? Well, I'm just here to have some fun. With whoever, wherever, whenever. It always changes; I haven't found someone who likes to have just as much fun as me. But for tonight, it seems like you're the fun. I'm curious to see what sort of trouble we'll get up to. I certainly hope stealing bottles is the last of it."

"in all honesty? i was thinking of taking a more peaceful approach to life here. in the long run i want to give my younger brother," the only remaining member of his family he cared for, "a way out if he wanted one." and a way out for himself. he had grown tired of his families desperate clinging to the fear and power they wielded but as he sat there and really thought about it-- was he tired of living in a world where fear and power struggles dominated every action and thought or was he tired of the way his family operated simply because he had to clean up their messes; was he tired of playing by their rules and not actually having the respect he deserved? it almost felt like a ghost creeping along his features as his lips curled into a more devious smirk; making him look more like the hellion he was in his youth rather than who he was pretending to be since leaving home. "new haven is already drowning, it could be fun to hold their heads underwater and give them a real reason to fear..."

"i've met a few that don't seem like they would take kindly to being called sheep," he commented with a subtle lick of his lips, "but i've met even more that don't seem like they'd even question it. i already have a favorite, or two, because of how compliant they are." the fact he was falling so easily back into his old ways wasn't something he could blame on kai. the other wasn't compelling him, or twisting his arm. no. all it took was a simple smile and mention of fun for elgin to slip. this was what he was. a monster hiding behind a kind smile and designer clothes. he was a fool for ever thinking he could be anything else. "i've been hiding," he answered plainly with a slight shrug of his shoulders as he let his hand be moved higher up on the other's thigh as they spoke, "but i'm starting to get tired of it. maybe i'm the lucky one tonight."

humming under his breath as he felt the other's hands on him, keeping him close, elgin gave into the moment and enjoyed being close to the other; he enjoyed the banter and the foreplay as he genuinely considered letting the facade he'd created for himself go and just accepting, instead, that he wasn't meant for a more peaceful, quiet life. honestly, a town like this would have been easier to run than a bustling city. there were so many ways they could convince and control people.

feeling the other's tongue against his ear had the omega smirking again, his mouth hanging open a bit to show his fangs as he leaned into the touch. "i'm not doing myself any favors tonight if you have to wonder if i'm better than the rest of them," he finally spoke up again as he leaned forward, his lips ghosting against the alpha's. "i thought i, at least, made that much obvious." closing off the last centimeter of distance between them, the omega pressed their lips together as his hand found it's way to cup over the alpha's groin. massaging his hand against him, elgin teasingly bit down on the other's bottom lip and pulled back on it before letting his attention trail away. his lips found their way to kai's chin, tracing down the side of his jaw, to his throat; making it clear, as his hand continued to grope and massage against the alpha, that he was working his way down to his prize.

Kai grinned upon hearing of the other man's history. How interesting; so there really were more like him out there. The alpha vampire hummed in delight, only taking another swig from his bottle. "And what about now? If this is your new home, how do you feel about using fear and control in this realm? It shouldn't be a problem to let your family name be synonymous with blood here either. With the amount of fear people already have over things they don't know, imagine how much more fun it will be when they fear things that they do know." Kai slid a bit closer to Elgin in the booth, letting his knee brush up against the other's.

"The sheep here are sweet to taste. Simple, easy-minded. Not very filling unless you have lots. But they're also much more fun to play with; even more so eager to follow your every beck and call. And that makes them all the more tastier and that much more filling." Kai's brows raised a bit as Elgin closed the gap between them, feeling the other's hand resting on his thigh. "Is that so? Is tonight my lucky night then? Where has someone as perfect as you been hiding this entire time?" he purred, reaching down to guide the other vampire's hand further up his thigh.

Shifting his body so that he was facing the other man a bit more directly, Kai let his own hands snake around the backside to hold Elgin closer to him. It wasn't obvious from his grip, but Kai wasn't intending for the other man to slip away from his grasp now. Not after the words that they'd been exchanging. "I think you're here to start making some messes of your own then. Tonight's certainly a fine night to start," he mused. "Here, you can live as freely as you want. Forget all the rules and etiquettes and act the way you've always desired. And if anyone complains about it, then we can always convince them otherwisee," the alpha vampire finished, letting his words trail off into a soft whisper as he leaned in close to Elgin's ear. Of course, convincing could mean all sorts of things, but Kai wasn't one to dive into all the specifics.

Kai let his tongue slip out, licking at the other man's earlobe, before using the sharper ends of his teeth to nip and lightly bite at the skin there. "Plenty try to keep up, but I haven't found anyone that can last. It's such a shame too, because all those pretty omegas didn't have the heart or the stomach to indulge in our desires together." He paused, one hand sliding down to settle around the other vampire's waist and squeezing him gently there. "And now I'm wondering if this pretty omega here is better than the rest of them." Kai's lips had moved away from Elgin's ear, trailing a soft line of kisses and pecks along his jawline untiil they were hovering just in front of the other's lips. "Care to prove me right?"
