Being an "impartial news source" does not equate to "all viewpoints are valid" If they were to run a special on the rights of poc and then they brought in a racist to share their viewpoints that would not be okay. If they were to run a special on gay rights it would not be okay to bring in a homophobe and treat their viewpoint as equal.
Jk Rowling's essay is harmful and at its core down right ignorant to the trans community who already face much discrimination and harm from society. There was nothing good that this essay could achieve.
Trans women's and cis women's rights are not mutually exclusive things because trans women are real women and their stories and hardships deserve to be shared.
Oh would you look at that, you're actually correct about the original usage of the flag. I should've seen that coming, since y'all also love appropriating feminism.
And we do agree on something: the labrys flag is a lesbian flag and not a radfem flag. I never claimed it was the latter, but rather radfems have appropriated it; unfortunately there are lesbian radfems, and they tend to use the labrys flag. Said usage is so common that people have begun associating it with the lesbian radfem crowd, which is something I'm against. I'll say it again: TERFs don't deserve shit.
Symbols that were created to represent love and acceptance don't deserve to be sullied by dumbasses who wrap their ignorance in a flowery ribbon of 'feminism' to make themselves look better.
Reminder that TERFs don't deserve shit. Take back the labrys flag, remove the genderqueer flag from their grimy fingers. They think they can use the community's symbols for their bullshit and we can't just accept it. We can't just go 'oh, the labrys flag is a radfem symbol' cuz it ISN'T; it's been appropriated much like the swastika has been appropriated by nazis. Bigotry is uncreative, after all.
