the league of villains will always be my favorite in this show and their connection is just sooo (ᗒᗩᗕ)
Love to think about this often actually this right here was the biggest proof that they are not evil they just wanted change
thinking about toga's relationship with the LoV. like. these adult men who kill people took better care of toga than her own parents. that 17 yo girl was safer with them, the "villains", than with her OWN PARENTS.
as soon as they got money they got her a cute coat that she liked for winter. they kept her fed and safe. they made sure she had fun and could be herself and they trusted her with tasks and told her to live the way she wants while also telling her to come back to them, making sure she felt both free and wanted.
Toga is the only kid in the LoV. and when they lost magne she became the only girl. and they always made her feel safe and nurtured and included. RAAAAAH
part of it I think is the guys being keenly aware of how young she is. they all went through something terrible when they were kids, or in their past. but for toga it's right now. she is that kid. and they won't let her be abandoned and neglected like they were

Shigaraki: oh, you were talking about people we slept with? *Stops a second, lost in thoughts, then shrugs* fifty something.

I’m so bored and tired and I need to shitpost a SUPER dumb headcanon to keep the cogs turning.
≫ Spinner was practicing throwing his knives one time, and Dabi just so happened to slip in undetected. It was a good 15 minutes of spectating before Dabi found himself getting bored, but he gets the bright idea of scaring the shit out of Spinner.
≫ So at absolute random, he screams. Then Spinner screams, and THEN he throws a knife at Dabi and it lands right in his shoulder. There’s the whole fried pain receptor stuff going on so he doesn’t do much of anything but pull the blade out with a cheeky grin and finally leave (he needs that checked out)… Spinner on the other hand just stares wide-eyed and gapes, he’s a little too jarred to even say sorry about he knife to the shoulder because HOW DID HE GET IN HERE? Not to mention a scream was fucking UNHINGED from Dabi.
≫ After that weird day Spinner just takes a look around the league’s little makeshift training room every few minutes if he’s practicing, he’s not keen on being scared shitless again.
I’m just gonna go out on a limb and say Spinner brings out the stupid in Dabi. And it’s definitely evident in their banter.

Shigaraki: 1/10. Bro CANNOT handle spice. You really think gamer boy who survives off of chickie nuggies and the occasional appy juice can handle spice?? You give him anything above "medium" heat level and he's done. He's cooked. He's begging his mom (Kurogiri) for help with a raspy, panicked voice
Kurogiri: 6.5/10. He doesn't really eat, like at all. But if he could, he'd be able to take a normal amount I think
Toga: 8/10. She has a weirdly high spice tolerance that no one can seem to explain. She doesn't brag about it cuz she doesn't even realize that most people have a much lower tolerance for it. She's always surprised when Shigaraki throws up from eating Indian take-out because it doesn't burn her at all
Twice: Either 2/10 or 7/10 and nothing in between. For him, eating spicy food is like a roller coaster ride. One second he'll be perfectly fine, then the very next he's screaming, then back to normal, then screaming, and so on and so forth
Dabi: 7/10. He was born with a very low tolerance, but had vowed to build that up by training his mouth to take it. He knows that his body can't handle hot temps, so if he can train his mouth to handle the hotness of spicy food, he absolutely will. He's gotta flex on Shigaraki as much as he can
Mr. Compress: 5/10. He got average. He doesn't seem like the kinda guy to really like spicy food. Tho his dark, wavy, almost curly hair suggests that he could have some Latino in him, he just doesn't really care for spicy food, so he hasn't built up his tolerance at all
Magne: 11/10. Her spice tolerance is INSANELY high for no reason. She can handle just about everything you could give her. You throw her on Hot Ones and she'll come out stealing the bottle of "Da bomb" for everyday use
Spinner: 4/10. He's the kind of person to fake not being affected by spice when there's people around. He'll try to keep a straight face, even when his eyes are watering so much he can't see and his nose is running faster than he thought possible. It's obvious to EVERYONE that he's in pain, but if Shigaraki's in the room, he mustn't show that (not necessarily Spinneraki, but it can absolutely be)

MHA HEADCANON TIME!
Mr. Compress learned how to speed solve ribix's cubes when he was a young teen (like 13 or 14), and he learned a bunch of tricks with them throughout the course of high school
However, when he became a full time magician in his early twenties, the general public didn't care for his rubix's cube tricks, so he slowly started to lose his skill
That is until he joined the lov
He then met twice, who could also speed solve rubix's cubes
He quickly picked back up his old hobby and he and Twice have a monthly showdown where Shigaraki, Toga, Spinner, and Magne bet money to see who wins the "Cube Battles™"
In said Cube Battles™, one of the most popular events is the one where each contestant performs neat tricks with their cube, which then is judged for technique, speed, pizzazz, and fluidity. Kurogiri judges all the games to keep it fair. This one is most common for bets
There are multiple riveting events in the Cube Battles™, but the final and most important event is the speed battles. In this event, both contestants pick up a card with a random cube pattern on it, the time starts, and first one to finish gets the point. The games end when one person has 6 points more than the other (sometimes this event takes hours). Kurogiri judges the game and decides a winner
Mr. Compress has won most of the games, so Twice has turned to caffeine to try and win, but still can't quite beat him

This is such a little detail, but I think it's so important, especially with what Spinner told him
Knowing how Stain was a symbol for people who felt rejected by society for their quirks and or appearance, this was definitely intentional on his part to try to also become a symbol of acceptance but in a less violent way (which he's doing great at)

DABI— » as soon as you walk into the bedroom Dabi and you share, whistling is the first thing you hear. you turn your head towards him, looking up to meet his gaze. of course he has something to say- he always does. “looking pretty… could that be my shirt?” he almost acts like he does not know. “no, it’s just an oversized shirt of mine— of course it’s yours!” you sigh and walk up to him, handing him a cup of coffee. he takes it, his smirk only widening at your sarcastic remark. “looks good on you, keep it, yeah baby?” he says in a cocky tone, using his free hand to grab you by the waist and pull you closer. “… looks real good…” chuckling in a deep note and loving the way you get all flustered from him basically— liking ‘the view’.
SHIGARAKI— » “when did you ask me if you could wear my shirt?” he asked, a bit confused… a hint of irritation (maybe). “i need permission to wear your shirts?” you ask, raising an eyebrow. he looks away and mumbles something you couldn’t quite figure out. you chuckle lightly and place both cups of coffee on his desk, walking up to him and sitting at the edge of the bed. “is it because it’s a limited edition shirt?” you ask already knowing the answer. “….no—“ he looks away, then back at you; “yes. it is a limited edition… I don’t want it to get ruined-“ he admits, but there was a hint of reluctance. “it… looks good on you though….” you turn to him and smile; “thank you Shigi.”
TWICE— » short circuit. his brain goes kaput not gonna lie. would stare at you with his mouth slightly gaped and blinks multiple times to make sure what he is seeing is real. “that’s my shirt…” he says- almost a question but also a statement? you nod “yeah, is it… problem or?” he quickly shakes his head “NO— I mean… no… not a problem at all-“ you smile and hand him a cup of coffee, “great, cus it’s comfortable and i wasn’t planning on taking it off.” you state ‘as-a-matter-of-fact’. “i wouldn't want it any other way...” he says, taking the cup, “looks really good on you- you might as well keep it.” he smiles and takes a sip of coffee.
SPINNER— » stares at you like the lil reptile he is. he blushes- even through his scales, you can see it. “spinner? Hello??” you wave your hand in front of his face and snap your fingers. he comes back (to reality) after the snap and blinks a bit. “oh- i- sorry… got distracted…” he moves one of his hands to the back of his neck looking embarrassed. “distracted? with wha—? oh.” You cut yourself off as you remembered you are indeed wearing one his shirts. “sorry if it bothers you, my clothes are on the washing machine-“ you chuckle lightly and apologize. “It’s fine… it- looks good on you.” he grabs one of the cups in your hands and takes a small sip trying to avoid eye contact and you giggle at him. “alright then, thank youuuu!” you smile and sit next to him.
COMPRESS— » feel like he would be so smug about it. you enter the room wearing one of his button-ups, he does not even try to hide the fact he is staring at you, looking you up and down with not hesitation and with very specific intentions. "mine?" he asks, knowing damn well it is. you nod and hand him a cup of coffee as you smile. "mmm... looks good, i'll buy you some so you have your own if you want." you shake your head, "no— the point is that its yours, that's why i'm wearing it." that wins you a chuckle coming from him and a raise of his hands in defeat, "alright, sorry... you look cute anyways, and i like that you like it because its mine."
KUROGIRI— » he would be cleaning the bar after a long day, just to see you walk and sit in front of him on the counter wearing one of his button-ups. the first 3 buttons weren’t closed, so while you leaned your hands on the table he could see some of your chest. “why?” was all you heard from him as you chuckled. “i was bored, saw one of your shirt, made you some coffee… and here we are.” you smile while you slide the cup to him. “always full of surprises i suppose.” he sighs but smiles and thanks you for the gesture. “just don’t walk around the base like that… close it up— a bit more… please. next time.” you nod and smile, “yes sir!”. he shakes his head and sighs, “you are always so extra, i swear…” you look at him and smile, “yet you still love me!” Masterlist

"Fight, Flight, Freeze, Fawn" Part 2 : The League of Villains!
(You can't understand how happy I am to see that the first one really interested people!!)
So Touya/Dabi was already made in Part 1
1st, let's start with Toga. We know her past, she was seen as weird, a freak, disgusting by her own family (I heard she had siblings, so even as far as them). But during years, she faked being a "perfect little child" that listened and was calm and "normal". Her family confronted her behaviours and she was in a full Fawn mode. One day, her mask that she forced onto herself fell and all her repressed needs, who are in her D.N.A., came as they could. The need of blood made her attack someone. This feeling of finally being free (herself) brought her to the LOV and to find a family that accept her and her "abnormal" behaviour. She seems to actually only need that, a family, and when she can (like in the Yakuza mess), she'd rather Flight the conflict. However if her family is targeted (like with Magne and Twice), or when her family gives her orders to, she will Fight. Because she just wants to keep her found family.
2nd is Twice. Pretty much like Toga, he only needed a family. Due to his mental instability, his fears and his self-doubts, he could have been a Freeze and not react, be stucked while facing confrontation (kinda like what we can see even before with his old boss). Though he trusted his new family so much that he was, like Toga, either going for the Flight or the Fight depending of how much his family needed him. (Though a bit more of a Flight then Toga before season 6, still because of his insecurities and fears of fighting eating his confidence away).
3rd Mister Compress. We don't see much of him, we just know that thieves are normal and biological in his family. So I would say that confronted, Compress may prefer to go for the Flight. Fighting would be if an irrespectful act is commited but he wouldn't stay doing nothing, or wouldn't dirty himself for a random person.
4th, Spinner. We know he's a follower. He follow Stain blindly because he doesn't know what else to do, then Shigaraki because he becomes a good leader, and listens to Dabi because he sees him as superior. He doesn't really have his own way of thinking and weighting the good and the bad side of his decisions. His "primary leaders" being Fighters, he would immediatly Fight back too. Same as Toga and Twice for the found family part, if his family is threatened, he will Fight for them. But before the LOV he was definitely a Freeze. Lizard side or not, he seemed to be very "NPC"-like towards his life, so no much reaction to confrontation before he had a goal.
5th is Shigaraki himself. He's a Fight. Confrontation = Fight for him, he was raised that way. OFA raised him that way. He won't be a perfect silent person, he won't say nothing and stay still, he won't escape from the situation. He yearns for a new society, a new reign, he wants to see a country and the world crumbles. A full Fight made to be like that by OFA.
Bonus because he was asked!
Stain : Stain to me would respond by Fight or Flight. But while his Fight would be very direct (you confront him, he confronts back), his Flight would be controlled. He doesn't want to avoid a situation of confrontation because he is scared, how because that's how his mind instinctly answers, he just doesn't want to confronts and will leave instead. But this situation is pretty rare, it's the type of situation we can only see with All Might (because he is worthy enough to be a hero by Stain's psychology). Stain would, and that's what we can see with anyone else until now, only attack and kill because he sees the "unseriousness" of being a hero, the need for fame and not actual saving as a unique goal, as a threat to the job of being a hero.

I've been thinking about the AU where Inko finds Tenko after her kills his family and saves him and let me tell you...I love it. 100/10, she could've saved them. But, that's also made me think about an AU where Inko is pretty young, like early to mid 20's, and encounters the full-grown league of villains and they go "yeah, alright, this'll work for now".
It's after Magne dies, so the group is sorely lacking in a big sister/any other older female figure, and you cannot convince me these men know how to look after themselves, much less a teenage girl, so all of them combined have a total of like, three life skills and almost kill each other the second Kurogiri vanishes. So, when younger Inko comes along and maybe gives one of them advice at the store on not buying a bag of half-rotten produce or just does something to endear herself to Toga or one of the other members, they just pick her up off the street and take her back to their hideout. It's kidnapping, really, but they need a big sister and this one seems good yeah.
I don't know where Izuku is in all of this because obviously he wouldn't stand for his momma getting kidnapped but also, the ages don't quite line up. I'm thinking maybe she either had a teen pregnancy or she adopted Izuku young because he was the son of a sibling or a relative, idk, but I think it'd be hilarious to have something like this:
Izuku: (Panicking, sobbing, running around like a chicken with his head cut off with the rest of UA because his mom is missing and someone saw her get swooped up by one of the league members and they still haven't gotten a ransom note yet) She must be so scared! I'm sorry mom!!
Inko: (Exasperated) No, Spinner you can't cut a tomato like that, you'll lob your fingers off.
Spinner: (grumbling) Isn't cooking supposed to be a woman's job?
Inko: (Brandishing a very sharp cooking knife because dull knives are more dangerous than sharp ones)...you want to try that again?
Spinner: (gulps) Yes ma'am. Sorry ma'am.
Inko: Cooking is a life skill and something everyone should be able to do, here, let me show you again.
...Anyway, I think it'd be super funny and cute and I kinda want to write it.
I was watching part of the episode of Assassination Classroom where the kids all give each other code names and I was like "wouldn't it be funny if the league of villains did that", so here we are.
Now "Lizzy," I hear you say "they have villain names, why would they need code names"? And to that I say, leave me alone. I just watched today's episode and wanted to sob, let me have my fun. >:(
(Also, technically, in that episode the fun was that everyone else picked the codenames so we operating off that).
I feel like this would be born of a bet that went horribly wrong or just them joking around and then it became serious. Like, they had some undercover mission to do and were like "hey, since everyone like, knows what our names are now, we should probably get like codenames". Actually no, Toga and Twice said that, the rest of them said it was ridiculous but they were so insistent they put it to rock paper scissors and the others lost. So they all picked out codenames for each other:
Dabi: "Daddy Issues" (he almost flambés the entire hideout, because he totally doesn't and people aren't supposed to know about his super secret stuff, but in reality it's not that deep and Spinner put it in because he thought Dabi just looked like someone who'd have them).
Tomura: "Gotta Hand it to Ya" (Everyone but Tomura thought it was hilarious, no one cares it's not practical)
Spinner: "Brain AFK" (He would take offense that, but at least it's not Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle)
Kurogiri: "MOOOOOOM" (All o's and caps included)
Compress: "Hey kid, wanna see a magic trick" (Again, no one cares it's not practical so Compress just goes with it and waits until it eventually gets shortened into something that can actually be said quickly on coms)
Twice: "Needs Therapy" (Anyone could've taken this, but they felt it fit him best)
Toga: "Stabby the Human" (Most of them don't get the reference, but it's fine)
I can just imagine them running around, murdering people and just doing what they do but the whole time it's just:
"Gotta Hand it To Ya?"
"..."
"Gotta Hand it To Ya? Do you copy?"
"What."
"...Y'know, I seem to have forgotten what I was gonna say, silly me."
"I swear if you pull this shit one more time Daddy Issues isn't gonna be the only thing you have–"
