Some People Need Smaller Waist Sizes And More Leg Length - Tumblr Posts
I literally have no idea, but I’ve dropped away so none of my pants fit me and I can’t find pants that you that aren’t skinny jeans
And I’m really sad.
I also have a thing where I prefer to wear light color denim and I don’t even have the options to picky
It would probably be easier for me if I wore my pants lower on my body, but I just like the fit of high waisted better
I wholeheartedly believe that if I find one more cute pair of pants but their smallest size is a size small with a 27in (68.5cm) waist I will actually chew through solid metal. Shout out to my mom and I who are on the hunt for the most size inclusive store to exist so we can both shop there. because I’m short and very thin, and my mother is plus sized and slightly taller than average. So like basically 45% of stores carry neither of our sizes, while the other 55% might carry one of our sizes, carry both of our sizes but only one in store, carry both of our sizes but neither in store. When her and I go shopping it’s always “ughh this article of clothing doesn’t fit me right.” Followed by the other one being like “you’re the reason they make those articles of clothing in the style I hate!!” I complain about boxy t-shirts, but my mom hates t-shirts fitted at the waist. My mom complains about short pants, while I have to hem all of mine.
Anyway point of post is do y’all know any brands that carry 24in pants - plus size (idk my mom’s size and would share someone’s size in the internet without their consent)
honestly any vintage brands that carry 24/25 pants would be a miracle bc I have to sew my own, alter or wear only adjustable skirts when it comes to vintage bottoms.
Okay I went to the mall today and I got these super cute yoga pants from off line by Ari (not my usual style but their so cute and soft <3)
After this I’m taking a bit about bodies and weight if you’re not in a place for that the TLDR is vanity sizing is out of control and it’s effecting me as someone who’s literally average build
—and that’s all fun UNTIL you learn that the pants that fit me best were EXTRA SMALL and that was THE SMALLEST SIZE they had in store
I’m not tiny or petite, I’m average height for a woman in the USA and my weight is close to the low number, but it’s still safe/heathy for someone my size
I shouldn’t be and extra small, in general because like I said I’m AVERAGE sized, but especially not in an athletic store
I’m average for the us but not on my sports team, on my team I’m both tall and heavy.
I know athletes come in all shapes and sizes
I saw the Olympics, even at that level there’s so much diversity I’m not saying that stores should make all their sizes smaller but we NEED a bigger size range
This store appeals to young athletes, and that demographic includes some of the smallest people I have ever met
I should not be the smallest size that they carry in store especially when most of the clothing is stretchy and will become loose over time
