Sending Mail To Netflix
Hey Everyone!
Although this isn’t a current top priority action for the campaign, we have noticed that people have been sending mail to Netflix using the wrong address!
Here is the correct mailing address if you would like to send something!

We also are aware of people discussing about sending Red Sea Glass and Spaghetti in the mail and we would like to ask that you DO NOT send those.
We understand the significance of both of those items in the show, but they are both Health and Safety risks and could discredit the entire campaign.
The red sea glass is a cute idea, but MANY PEOPLE have been only calling it "red glass" & do not realize that people on the internet will take things literally.
That could put people receiving the packages at risk to receive sharp objects which is a SAFETY RISK.
Spaghetti, cooked or not is a HEALTH RISK. Just don't send food in the mail please. <3
We want to be seen as a fierce but RESPECTED fandom please. <3

We got a suggestion by a lovely follower about paper origami bowties, with #SaveDeadBoyDetectives written on them and we think this is a lovely idea! We will share an infographic on how to make the bowties later on when sending things in the mail is discussed more thoroughly.
An aspect of Edwin's character that interests me is that he has not just accepted death - he has embraced it. Like, he did not want to die, and Hell was an unfathomably horrific experience. But now, after three decades with Charles, it seems to be his preferred state. He was never happy when he was alive, and now he has the safety of having someone who unconditionally loves him. He's passionate about his cases and finds fulfillment. He knows that none of this would have happened if he lived, and he's probably right! I hate that for him! And even if he did, he now knows that he would have been surrounded by people who wished he were gone! He's not just at peace with his death, he does not yearn for life. This is his life.
DEAD BOY DETECTIVES LETTER PROJECT
Starting this Thursday we will be sending letters to Netflix! Please prepare letters with all of your love for the show to convince Netflix to reverse their decision! 💜

Every other week will be a letter mailing week so everyone has time to prepare their letters to send them on the selected Thursday's! You can send as many as you want to Netflix HQ and show them just how much you love Dead Boy Detectives!
if you want to get really mad, one of the writers for Dead Boy Detectives confirmed on twitter today that the Season 2 script had been WRITTEN AND COMPLETED when the cancellation news went out.
This is really untenable, not just as people watching these shows for entertainment, but as people who care about art and workers being treated fairly.
#netflixcancels is trending because people are so angry about several other wonderful, highly praised shows getting axed for the same reasons - especially Warrior Nun, another LGBTQ show with 100% ratings on Rotten Tomatoes and winner of several awards.
⭐️ I can only recommend, if this is important to you, streaming the hell out of Dead Boy Detectives and getting others on board, or you and everyone you know unsubscribes from Netflix. You can let em know on social media too.
There's also a petition, it's at 14k signatures, which is not nothing.
Anyway. I'm just stunned that Netflix bothers to make these shows which are positively received and artistically groundbreaking, just to destroy them after 1 season. It's unfair to everyone, not just fans, and an alarming sign for creative professions on the whole.

We really do have a chance in this genuinely if we can keep it up for as long as possible! We are doing so great, the cast and crew honestly believe in us. If you need some motivation today or this week just know they are all rooting for us and continue to hold out hope! They are fighting just like we are 💜

PSAs to play episodes of New Show on loop in the background to get viewership up for New Show. urgency to binge New Show so they see good views for New Show. pleading and begging and tagging special media accounts to get another season of New Show. New Show is cancelled. social media outcry and petitions to save New Show trend for a week. New Show is not picked up. New Show says cancelled. they start making a New New Show and it all starts the fuck over again. I gotta be honest I'm really fucking tired of this shit
