Born of ignorance,
bred by arrogance...
I did a bit of selfreflecting.
Jason's character is ultimately one of the most tragic and the WORST thing is, that his fate could have been avoided.
His childhood innocence was murdered by others, who thought of his existence as a joke. He survived, only to see the one person who cared about him, die by the same people who ignored him. He became a force of nature, fuled by rage and love for his mother AND STILL his victims could have survived if they listened.
And even after his death, he cannot rest. He cannot find escape and so he became part of this hell, transforming into something...monstrous
He very much is a renaissance tragic figure (similarly to Quasimodo). And perhaps that's why many people like him. Despite the gut twisting awfull movies (not all tho), we watch them because of Jason.
All of this...just beacause I wanted to draw that one pose, damn it (reference: fallen angel)
