atticus stood at the kitchen counter beside her, hands holding onto the side of the marbled island, staring at the worrisome-looking cupcakes.

❝ i’ve...i’ve eaten wors’...bu’ yeah, i’d try it...can i, cher?

well, she did say he could, so....peering at them and leaning forward on his tippy-toes, atticus took one of the cupcakes from the pan, sniffing it once before ta- king a small bite.

❝ .....! it’s good!

headcanons || accepting

atticus is not very familiar with most forms of music, but having always lived on the streets of new orleans, he has had the opportunity to hear JAZZ at it’s best. on nice days in the mornings or evenings, you can almost always find atticus sitting on the same street or near one of the jazz players that set up on the french quarter or bourbon street. the sound of the trumpets and even pianos calm him deeply.
