Magic danced at your fingertips as you summoned ingredients from the shelves behind you. You had been brewing this potion for hours - a tedious and tumultuous process that always accompanied the crafting of wolfsbane. It was a badly kept secret that you supplied the temporary suppressant along with a variety of other magical remedies, spells, and an occasional curse or two.
There were - of course - limits on what you would provide. You did not take too kindly to townspeople that asked for dark spells or soulmate switches. Your fellow magical and supernatural folk in the kingdom of Meridian were ostracized enough as it was by the majority of the wealthier classes. To add on to your bad reputation would be a foolish endeavor.

That’s it!! Last day of #mermay !! The gang is all here!! I had so much fun doing the mermay challenge!! Was it hard? Yeah, for me it was. But was it fun? Yeah!! To be honest this whole month of May had been pretty difficult for me emotionally but this challenge has kind of help cope with it. It was kind of like my...euphoria?? Kekeke So I’m sorry if some of them weren’t really good looking or some were just plain bad but it was fun and I might go back and redraw some of them to look cleaner. Also to the Jungkook stans, I’m sorry if I made Jungkook as a child in this series but to be honest, for me, that’s how I’ve always seen him as. Overall it was fun and I can’t wait to do this again next year :)

When a husband woke up from rest, would the first thing on his mind be his wife? Namjoon wondered this as his heavy eyelids were welcomed by the outside world. He usually woke up in an instant, but seemingly struggled at the moment. There was something missing in the room, an answer that his heart came up with before his mind could run the algorithms.
With a grip rougher than it should’ve been, he lifted the curtain between you two only to be greeted with your absence.
Such a sight shouldn’t be making him this anxious because this was your kingdom after all. You weren’t putting yourself into danger, nor were you obligated to stay by Namjoon no matter what. What was making him so tense? Making his heart race, his lungs contract, and his fingertips tremble?
Every fiber of Namjoon’s being pushed him out of bed. He barely knew this place which is why he didn’t know where to go, but it had to be somewhere. You couldn’t be too far, because the last time, when you were thousands of miles away, he had nearly driven himself insane while missing you.
As hurriedly as he wanted to execute everything, he couldn’t help but to slow down just a bit. Why was he moving so quickly when he was simultaneously in awe of everything around him? Did he need to chase after you? Could he leisurely wander the new land his eyes have never seen before?
A new kingdom, a new land, a new culture. These were your roots, after all.
