"I'm grayromantic/I'm in the aromantic spectrum"
Yes both are true but I like saying I'm aromantic, I thing the broad term also fits me and it rolls out the tongue better.
I shouldn't need to explain every single time that "while I identify with the aromantic term I might (and have felt like... Once.) romantic attraction in the future or I might not, who knows". It's so tieriiiing

Here's your reminder that:
Acespec people can call themselves asexual
Arospec people can call themselves aromantic
Aroacespec people can call themselves aroace
The words asexual, aromantic, and aroace, do not belong solely to those on one end of the spectrum. Demi, cupio, grey, lith, quoi, and all other aspecs are just as welcome under these words.
I saw a post that claimed only those without any form of romantic or sexual attraction could call themselves "gay/bi/etc. aroace" and that those on the spectrums somewhere have to use something else. Frankly, it's beyond ridiculous and aphobic to say so. Those on the spectrums are just as allowed to use the words that have always been granted to them within the community.
Do not let anyone tell you that the community you're in doesn't belong to you, or that you're less welcome here.
