Just because you haven't transitioned doesn't mean you are any less of your preferred gender

You don't have to be on hormones

You don't have to get surgery

You don't have to look androgynous to be non-binary, genderfluid, genderqueer, etc.

You do not have to do anything that you are not comfortable with to be you're preferred gender

YOU ARE VALID AND SO VERY LOVED!

But if you feel like doing any of the above will make you more comfortable with your gender, then do so, this post is not intended to turn people away from transitioning, just to spread love. ❤️

"playing the role you were assigned" is so crazy to me because of how far it spans and how the same people will react so differently depending on the context.

there's the obvious "you call me an asshole i give you an asshole" shit, that's standard twitter post content right there, but it goes so much further than playing a personality.

playing a gender because when you were born that was immediately what was expected. playing as non-neurodivergent because you were told that was what you had to do. playing as straight, playing as a romantic, because you're supposed to feel "that kind" of love. playing as literally whatever you're told because that's the role you were assigned, it's the only way to be "normal".

a role is an identity, not just a personality, and some people want you to play it until the very end.

So... Gender?

Yeah. I’ve been questioning my gender again. I mean, I wore skirts a lot the past week, but that was because fandoms and elves and stuff. And then I got worn out from wearing skirts and was in a mood for pants. Long story short I think I’m just going to start using the umbrella term Genderqueer to describe me. I just know I’m not a boy or a girl and that’s about it. I mean, I might be a bit closer to being a girl than a boy, but gender is a spectrum and it just means I’m a bit closer to girl than boy on the spectrum. Anyway, this was really just a long way to come out as genderqueer. 

Ok, well, I guess I’m done now. I’m just gonna go write some Keeper of the Lost Cities fanfiction now. Bye

I like the idea of Kakuja/Half-Kakuja play fighting.

This entire idea happened because of a cute dream of Centipede and T-Owl getting caught play fighting on camera or something.

Opinions? (Ask abt the dream, I have it written down!!)

Headcanon: Agender/Genderfluid, they/them and it/its but he/him is okay sometimes, she/her is good, more often, as well.

(This is mostly a 'Sasako needs more attention' thing, cause they kinda just glazed over how good Haise was at it. So I have a feeling they crossdressed/dressed femininely prior to that) []

Dream goes as this:

Someone is watching through a camera or something.

Centipede is sitting on top of a tower of some kind, it has a large square and flat top and it's all white. The towers isn't outside, it's inside of like a circle of some kind. There are other towers that line the walls just like it, in a circle, with a spiral staircase in the center with walkways leading to the square towers.

(I think this might be Coaclea, but I'm unsure; I've only seen the anime and that was 2-4 years ago.)

Their tails/rinkaku kakuja are kinda sprawled out behind them. They are clearly looking down at something, watching.

When T-Owl comes up over the edge behind them, very sneakily. He wanders close enough to Centipede finally, before gently (though at the beginning they didn't know that) biting one of their tails, making a noise similar to a puppy trying to play.

Centipede flips around, clearly caught off-guard, while hopping up into a mildly defensive pose. They are crouched down, on all fours, watching T-Owl.

T-Owl chirps/sneezes.

Centipede does it back, before tackling T-Owl.

They duke it out in a similar way to both cats and dogs. Occasionally bitting each other, not aggressively or sexually but playfully.

Just nipping at each other.

Just playing together. The CCG won't admit this.

Until, accidentally, T-Owl bites them too hard and ends up actually hurting them. While it heals almost instantly, Centipede still yipes and leaps away from T-Owl.

T-Owl, recognizing what he did, purrs as he gets closer to Centipede. To any outsider this would look like T-Owl is trying to lure them into a false sense of security, but to other ghouls/half-ghouls he's clearly apologizing. Saying "I'm so sorry, I didn't mean to." purely by action.

T-Owl gets closer to them before nuzzling into their jaw with his beak, quietly chirping to them until they chirp back. Both recognizing his apology and their exception of that apology.

Centipede purrs.

T-Owl purrs.

They just sit there for a minute, calming each other down. Just affectionately chewing on each other. (Like dogs and T-Rexes, called craniofacial biting)

-Until an incredibly high-pitched and loud alarm goes off and spooks them both.

When I still identified as a girl, I would try to make friends within queer circles and a Significant™️ number of people (in different friend groups!) would ask my pronouns, I’d say “she/her, sorry I’m boring lol”, and then they would REFUSE to call me by my preferred pronouns. It was ALWAYS they/them—which is a good default! Should be the default!! I am glad it’s becoming the default!!! The problem was that i informed them repeatedly that those were NOT the pronouns they should use for me anymore, and was repeatedly denied my gender identity.

“Oh yea well I’m not used to those pronouns”

“Oh well I use they/them for everyone it’s not a personal thing”
