The Akatsuki gets isekai'd into a modern-esque world. All individually. Not realizing it had happened to anyone else. And gradually find each other months or years later. All I can imagine is Kisame or Deidara pulling into a mcdonalds drive through and their eyes popping out of their damn skulls seeing HIDAN in the drive through (the manager found him eating raw patties in the back and banned him from the kitchen 😔 he misses the taste of blood) while Hidan is looking out the window on his second strike for fighting customers going Y o u ? ? ?
Or Itachi bringing some books to the elderly home on a charity trip and seeing Kakuzu. And them both just hard staring at eat other like 🤨😐
I also think it'd be so funny if Itachi was an absolute job hopper trying to figure out what he wanted to do. With no village to protect and no Sasuke in that timeline. Just moving from being a library assistant to a volunteer at the nursing home to an assistant at a bakery to dabbling in the arts and low key considering college soley because he's interested in the sheer amount of information this world just. Has laying around if you're willing to pay.

The au popped into my head soley because I heard that song that goes "I know none of this will matter in the long run, but a sound is still a sound if it happens around no one!" and it made me think of Itachi's. General silent suffering. And it made me go God The Unwrittable Singer AU is back in my head again.
Because the unfortunate thing about wanting an Itachi singer au fic every time I hear a song about suffering silently. Is that Mr. Martyre Complex would rather die than share his burdens. Let alone sing them for the entire world to hear. So. Unfixable problem I've been trying to find a loophole in for ages now.
But anyway! If there was a way to bullshit through it. Just. Damn. Would it be funny if like Nagato and Konan were on the way to work and they just heard the song play on the radio like "Is that fucking Itachi's voice???"
Or. Sasori going to the grand expedition of a painting that really took off in the art world and seeing Deidara in the other room of the building hosting a live art event. Them just immediately going for each other's necks like "What the FUCK are you doing here"
Kisame turns on the news after getting home from work and seeing The New Big Celebrity Gossip is that two of the best new and coming artists seem to fucking hate each other.

Less fun thing I just remembered: Itachi's illness doesn't magically disappear in this scenario. My guy better pray he doesn't end up isekai'd into the US otherwise him and Kakuzu's reunion will be in hospice care

I love Naruto so much. He's such an angel.
I love his character and the show entirely. Naruto is my comfort character. Something special about him makes me feel okay and safe when my life goes downhill. He is one of the main reasons why I am still pushing forward in my life to achieve my goals, especially during the hard times. When I fall he reminds me to get back up. To always believe in myself.

An Au where Sasori and Gaara, Temari and Kankuro are cousins, Rasa want to kill Gaara bc of the bijuu but Yashamaru doesn’t want to lost the last piece of his sister so he says that to Sasori (He still was a Suna’s shinobi) that before to defect the village took Gaara with him.
Gaara in that period is 5 y/o, Temari is 10 y/o and Kankuro is 9 y/o.

Gaara growns up with the Akatsuki members as his family, but he wants to see again his brothers, he will at the age of 12 years. Gaara is friend with Shukaku and live in symbiosis with him, Sasori and Deidara are lovers and Gaara found the idea of having a lover soo beautiful ( he secretly wants a precious person too)
Gaara is trans (ftm) but his father found the idea of a female jinchuriki uneccetable so he always called Gaara his son and Gaara was ok with that so he was always known as the second son of Rasa.
Gaara doesn’t have a gourd but a spear of sand (the one in the anime):
The kanji is the bijuu seal and one of his eyes is like the Shukaku one bc they live in harmony.

Crack idea:
All Akatsuki members successfully (somehow) fake their deaths and escape with their partners. The ringleaders (Nagato, Obito, etc.) are none the wiser.
When Kabuto tries to summon them with the Edo Tensei, all five coffins open dramatically to reveal…nothing. Kabuto realizes that his meticulously planned out, 58-step plan has just gone up in so much smoke and promptly loses his shit. Everyone present also loses their shit, realizing that 6 S-Rank criminals are running unchecked across the Elemental Nations.
Cue the ensuing fallout. Meanwhile, one continent away, Hidan and Kakuzu are living their best lives collecting bounties and sacrificing heathens (or whatever they do for fun). Sasori and Deidara are running a wildly successful art studio. Kisame and Itachi are enjoying a long overdue peaceful retirement at a tea shack in the middle of nowhere. They do not know anything about the Fourth Shinobi War, Madara’s resurrection, or Kaguya’s summoning. They do not care. Life is good (for them, at least. The Allied Shinobi Forces having to deal with the aforementioned planetary-sized threats? Not so much.)
A little Christmas gift for myself!
These came in just in time, I preordered them back in April and I had been lucky enough to get them in time before they sold out. They're so cute and the details are pretty good considering how small they are.

☁︎︎ 20/10 points for great listener: He got dissmissed as a child when he needed it the most and knows that pain and NEVER wants his s/o to feel like that. Never ever - that would be his worst nightmare come true
☁︎︎ Trust is really important to him and he wants his s/o to trust him that he won’t do that to them
☁︎︎ He is the person that will sit with them and be there for them, but won’t hug or touch them unless they ask him too
☁︎︎ Kakashi has a thing for personal space especially when he isn’t feeling well and he knows how bad it can feel to be hugged or touched when you don’t want to
☁︎︎ super nice to them and he gives me chicken soup vibes. Like he can cook very well and chicken soup saves everything so when they’ve calmed down a bit he’ll give them from his soup (good soup)

Itachi:
☁︎︎ Itachi is very very gentle with you
☁︎︎ even if you yell at him because you’re angry at the world or violently cry into his chest he’ll just gently hold you and whisper calming and comforting words into your ear
☁︎︎ he always makes sure if something he does is ok with you and if that’s the way you like to be comforted - if you deny his hugs he won’t be mad at you. He’ll sit with you and talk and if you don’t want to talk he’ll just offer his company to you
☁︎︎ now he would do anything, but leave you alone. He just can’t bring himself to leave you alone especially when something is up
☁︎︎ Itachi is big on comfort food because he remembers how his mom used to make him comfort food when he came back from a particularly hard day. He’d often watch her cook and that would relax him, but he also remembered the ingredients and how to make her dishes
☁︎︎ he goes off a lot of personal experience so if you ever feel like Itachi comforting you is like a being in your mom's nice warm hug it’s probably because that’s what Itachi is trying to make you feel - his hugs always feel fuzzy and like home
☁︎︎ Also Itachi is always scared if his past experiences will make you trivialize your pain. He really doesn’t want that because of how much he cares about you
☁︎︎ You might not even have a reason to feel terrible and to him, it’s still fully valid and he wants to help you through that. That’s why he might sometimes hold back on telling you his past because deep down he’s scared that will push you away or make you believe your pain isn’t valid
☁︎︎ that said, he doesn’t sugarcoat. If something is not ok he won’t tell you it’s ok
☁︎︎ he’ll reassure you that you’ll make it, but won’t hide the fact that it will be hard
☁︎︎ all in all, would definitely recommend - one of the best cuddle and comfort buddies
Deidara:
☁︎︎ clueless at first
☁︎︎ doesn’t know what to do and panics a bit himself
☁︎︎ will pull you into his arms the moment he sees you and would hug you VERY tightly
☁︎︎ kind of helps because now you can feel his heartbeat that starts calming you down
☁︎︎ boy tries his best to calm you down which consists of cuddles and telling you that everything will be ok
☁︎︎ He will make some attempts to make you smile or laugh to calm you down
☁︎︎ it’s a bit hard for him to stay in one place and listen, but you bet that he sits his ass down to listen to you
☁︎︎ a good thing about him is that his past isn’t extremely dramatic unlike Itachi’s and Kakashi’s so with him it’s hard to feel guilty or trivialize your pain
☁︎︎ While holding you Deidara will gently pet your hair and if it helps he’ll let you play with his blond mane
☁︎︎ He can’t really cook, but that’s why we can order food. Will literally cross mountains to get you your favorite dish
☁︎︎ he’ll put his work and art away for you and when you’ve calmed down he’ll sit down to watch movies with you, specifical romcoms
☁︎︎ I won’t lie he is a very Pinterest boyfriend, but still sweet, we love him
