Just a simple teen Pearl Fey sketch I forgot to post till now :P. I drew it with my right hand because I don't want to completely forget how to use it, even if my left hand is healed and clearly the superior option lol X3

✿ Iris and friends ✿

A few days ago I decided to do a one panel comic based off a head canon of mine, that being that Iris has naturally red hair but, after her sister goes to jail, she felt the need to distance herself from her sister even more and, began to dye her hair black. I mostly came up with this hc because as someone with dark brown hair (that's sometimes mistaken for black :/) I know how much work it is to bleach and maintain a light hair colour and, given she "dated" Phoenix for 8 months, that's going to damage her hair real bad if she's naturally got black hair and, dyed it red regularly in that time frame. Only other option would be that she didn't dye her hair and it's naturally black but Phoenix isn't an idiot, he'd notice if his gf was swapping between red and black hair (at least I think so, he can be oblivious sure but, he can also be hyper perceptive at times so I think it's likely he'd question it eventually in the 8 months time frame), so I decided to hc her as a red head, plus she looks identical to her sister aside from the black hair colour so, them being identical twins makes sense to me.

Also don't worry, Phoenix doesn't hold anything against Iris for being a red head after this scene I drew. I like to think he comforts her after her apology so she knows she hasn't done anything wrong (because having the same colour hair as your twin isn't something you can control!). He's just surprised because she's so good at makeup (another hc of mine) that her brows looked naturally black and, he somehow didn't register that her hair was naturally red in college when he first met her again or something like that :P. I also hc that Phoenix visits Iris every few months, as while I personally don't ship feeniris, I definitely can see them being good friends after case 3-5 as they probably have quite a bit in common, given they both seemed to like each other in college.

Than I felt like drawing more Iris art but with Lana Skye because I hc them as friends! Which might seem strange, given these two do not interact in the game but, not only do they end up in prison around same time (only a few years apart), they also have had to deal with being pawns for other's and probably were able to relate in some ways to each other as a result. Plus I like to hc that Phoenix and Ema talk about their respective prison friend/sibling to each other and, are both glad to hear their friend/sibling has a best friend, neither realising that the best friend is the other prisoner involved in the conversation until both girls are released from jail. cuz I of course hc they get released from prison some time after SOJ (or before, or during, still haven't finished SOJ) and at same time because, the chief prosecutor figured out they were friends and, was able to convince the right people to change one of the girls release date to match the other girl's so they can enjoy the release day together!

✧ A couple of silly AA drawings ✧

Few days ago I originally do to a page in my sketchbook that was dedicated to going wild with my fluro paints... that didn't happen and instead I decided to draw my personal hc of what Trucy and Apollo look like when they perceive. This hc is inspired by people typing joke references to the perceive ability with the two eye emojis, for example saying something like this "Apollo when he see's the witness lying: 👁️👁️" because the idea of their eyes looking so cartoonishly bit and uncanny is unreasonably funny to me XD.

Than I drew a random Trucy who's wearing a crop top with sunflower on it cuz she do be around a lot of lawyers and the cards coming out of her hat kinda have meanings, the 8 of diamonds have same meaning as they do in this fanart I did, the 7 of hearts is of course a reference to the 7 yr gap which, I see as a bittersweet time for Trucy as I'm sure she felt loved by Phoenix but at the same time, she still lost her bio Dad and didn't grow up in the best circumstances, hence why the card has hearts but is black, than the ace is a lazy reference to case 4-1 :P.

Than after the drawings were done I got out the paints and well, unfortunately the paint and glitter glue around the perceive the page got wet and some of the ink from the last page bleed threw :( than a tissue got on the page and stuck :[ I could've fixed this by painting over these areas again buuuuuut, I didn't feel like it :> and sketchbooks are meant to be messy (right?) so I think it's fine (⁠✿⁠^⁠‿⁠^⁠)

Few days ago felt like drawing more AA fanart (as per usual these days X3) and suddenly got an idea of drawing Trucy taking a group photo, maybe with family? But than I wanted to add more characters, and more characters and, I still wish I could add more characters! but I didn't have the space for them :-( I'm sure if I pre-planned the composition I could've easily added way more characters but this was an impulse drawing so I didn't :3

Overall though I do really like this drawing, even after making a ton of errors and being reminded of why I prefer to draw pics with a ton of characters digitally (did miss having layers and a eye drops tool a few times, amongst over conveniences) I still think it came out really fun and cute. Though definitely need to draw more Klavier as I don't think I've found him in my art style yet but, I do enjoy the ponytail I gave him and plan on drawing with with many different hairstyles :3

♡Miles in some frilly shirts plus WrightWorth♡

Yesterday I was feeling pretty down so after doing sketch studies and walking I felt the urge to draw Miles Edgeworth in some cute frilly shirts! Do I think he'd wear these in canon? Highly doubt it! But they were still fun to draw and, the full body Miles I think is the best Miles I've drawn yet!

Than I drew some NaruMitsu/WrightWorth because I felt like drawing cozy shipping art and still felt like drawing Miles so NaruMitsu it is! Don't have anything to say about the first image, aside from the fact that I love that in canon Miles has pink PJs! So of course he's wearing them! And for second image I drew Phoenix bitching cuz while they're both (for lack of better word) bitches, I think Phoenix is the only one between the two to openly bitch about someone to close friends and partners, while Miles would just be a condescending jerk to the person annoying him in the moment and leave it at that XD

also I have once again changed up how I draw Phoenix's hair and eyebrows, will I ever have a set way of drawing these? Who knows ¯⁠\⁠_⁠(⁠ツ⁠)⁠_⁠/⁠¯ not I

✭ Athena Cykes ✭

(another sketch and spoilers for case 6-4 below)

Today I felt like drawing Athena because I really like her colour palette and, have grown to enjoy her character more. Plus I have wanted to do a minor re-design of her outfit for a while as there were small things I wanted to change. Main one being her jacket cuz, why tf do we have a gold button on yellow!? Maybe I'm just too obsessed with having contrasting colours in art, but given the jacket already has blue accents, why not add more? Also made her boots taller (not the biggest fan of her boots but I didn't want to change too much cuz they suit her cuz they look like moon boots imo) and gave her black bike shorts instead of the black tights cuz, the black tights just looked weird to me :/ so it was purely a personal preference thing :P

I enjoyed drawing this a lot and kinda want to do more pages like this of AA characters, but no promises! If I do more characters I'll probably start with more Wright anything agency members and branch out from there if I still feel motivated to :3

Yesterday I did the sketch above because I was in the mood to draw comics but, only did this cuz drawing comics traditionally is a lot harder than digitally (and I've yet to get my drawing tablet out of storage) so I did something simple to scratch that itch. It's of course based off that moment in case 6-4 when Simon fucken jump scares the player and shakes Athena!?

Truly iconic moment, than again Simon is so iconic for the whole case, that man is now my favourite co-counsel which I kinda feel bad about cuz all the "weird girls" are super iconic characters and I like their characters overall more than Simon (yes all of them) but, if we're talking just as a co-counsel, he's my favourite. His dialogue alone made 6-4 go from meh to good for me.

✭ Apollo Justice✭

Today I decided that I will do more full page drawings of AA characters. Unfortunately I don't think I drew a very good Apollo, but in my defence AA is the frist franchise I've hyperfixated over were I've not only cared about the more than one or two male characters but also have had a few of my favourite characters be male! So I'm much more comfortable drawing female characters (⁠´⁠-⁠﹏⁠-⁠`⁠；⁠)

Also I didn't change up his design aside from giving him the brown shoes he has in the AJ: trilogy promotional art instead of black shoes he has in older official art because I like it and it's actually my second fave lawyer suit design (favourite is Diego Armando's suit).

Anyways I've also decided I'll share my hc's for these characters for as long as I do this series :D, because I didn't share hc's for Athena on her post I'll share both Apollo and Athena hc's below, spoilers for AA4-6:

Both Apollo and Athena are trans and both socially transitioned as kids and grew up in trans supportive environments cuz in my mind the AA universe is queer friendly to balance out how dystopian their legal system is.

Apollo has no fashion sense aside from having a surprisingly good eye for men's formal/professional wear. So good in fact that Kristoph wouldn't of hired him if his suit looked bad (cuz he's that petty).

Apollo doesn't see Phoenix as a Dad but does simultaneously see him as a role model (though he'd never admit it) and hate him

he does however see Trucy as a little sister, even before learning she is actually his half sister

Apollo is gay and Athena is lesbian cuz one day I thought "hmmm image if the lawyers were trans and MLM and WLW solidarity?" and than it became a hc :P

I ship Apollo with Klavier and I like to think that Phoenix tries to give Apollo dating advice but Apollo ignores him because his advice is terrible! (Not on purpose, Phoenix is just really bad at relationships but it's works out for him cuz his partners are always just as bad, or somehow even worse at relationships than him)

however unlike Apollo I don't ship Athena with anyone, just don't feel like it lol

Athena met Phoenix in Europe at a park one of the many times Miles had him and Trucy come over to visit, by chance Trucy was doing magic tricks for random people in the park and Athena was one of these people. She was reading a book to study for the bar exam so Phoenix immediately talked to her about law after Trucy's trick.

Athena is fully multilingual (knowing most active European languages) and says non-english words by accident most of time (if she does it on purpose it's always to sound cooler in her opinion).

also I hc Athena as Austic cuz I can >:-)

Widget uses a Voicaloid sound bank, personally I like it imagine it's specifically Oliver because that's funny to me.

Widget also uses a custom OS that Aura Blackquill designed specifically for all the tech she built with Athena's mom.

✭ Phoenix Wright ✭

Today I drew a Phoenix and I think I'm slowly but surely getting better at drawing him and enjoyed drawing this, especially his full body pose :3. I also found myself appreciating his AA5/6 suit design a lot more but still changed some details, like making the buttons on his vest pink to match his tie and making the vest light blue like it looks like it is in AA5 was was changed to white for AA6 which kinda makes me mad cuz a white vest on a white shirt!? WHY!? I think the white vest bothers me more than him suddenly getting blue eyes, though I think that opinion heavy influenced by fanon Phoenix having heterochromia, presumably because of the AA6 official art (cuz his model in AA6 still has dark grey eyes!? and they did the same with Maya, why???).

Now for some Phoenix hcs I have:

After much consideration I've decided I personally subscribe to Phoenix's being a Theatre art major however, I still hc him as being good at painting and I like to think he helped paint a lot of the sets and props.

He is also massive art snob, to the point Miles refuses to go to art galleries with him, otherwise he'll deal with Phoenix loudly criticizing each and every art work.

He's an only child and was raised by his Mom. His Dad and her divorced when he was a Toddler so he doesn't remember him. His last name is from his Mom.

he got his phone in 2008 as a teen (it was his first phone) and never upgraded it until 20 years later when it finally died. Trucy, Miles, Larry and Maya all bullied him into getting a smart phone.

He has ADHD but wasn't aware until Athena one day made an off hand comment towards him with the assumption her boss was diagnosed.

I also hc him as bi, cuz why no ¯⁠\⁠_⁠(⁠ツ⁠)⁠_⁠/⁠¯

✭ Trucy Wright ✭

Yesterday I drew Trucy and I really like how this picture looks, definitely my favourite out of the 4 AA sketchbook page drawings I did and will be the last one (at least for now, may go and do more in future if I feel like it).

Didn't change a lot lot of her canon outfit aside from making the brooch gold instead of sliver, to match the gold earring, buttons(?) and accents on the cape. And I also changed her boot design as the original boots looked too much like rain boots to me (which works for her child design but, even at 15 rain boots feel too juvenile imo). So after much thought on different boot designs (even considered white Demonia's!) I realised that go-go boots look really similar to rain boots, and decided that they'd actually work for Trucy! Especially since the shape of her dress does kinda remind me of the silhouette of a lot of mid-late 60s dresses and go-go boots (while more associated with the 70s) I'm pretty sure are from late 60s so it works (hopefully!).

Now for some hc's:

Her and pearl are childhood friends

She has a really good vocal range and is pretty decent at doing accents thanks to performing Mr.Hat from a young age, I like to think Mr.Hat has a really deep masculine voice and a fancy British accent

She is bi because the idea of her coming out to Phoenix and him just going "same" is funny to me

Trucy runs social media accounts for Wright anything agency, however most posts on the WAA accounts are re-sharing posts from her Trucy Gramarye social media accounts (she manages 6-8 accounts total across like 5 different sites, how she does it no one knows), which further adds to people not realising most employees at WAA are defense attorneys.

Finally got my drawing tablet out of storage!

\(≧∇≦)/ Now I can do digital art again but It'll take a while to get use to not just using drawing digitally again but also, using the drawing tablet on my current laptop. For now, enjoy a quick Miles doodle I did to test if the tablet worked :P

Did some sketches on my drawing tablet today to try and get used to using it with my laptop, ended up drawing some AA shit posts XD

Today I felt like making some kandi based off some of my favourite AA characters. Decided to stick with just trilogy characters but next time I feel like doing AA Kandi I'll definitely do my faves from AA4-6, and maybe AAI1-2 if I take that long to make more Kandi and find even more favourite characters from those games XD

Also all are first names expect Dick's cuz I'm too much of a coward to make and wear Kandi that says Dick :P

☆Ema Skye☆

Today I finished what is my first proper digital drawing in almost a year! however it took a bit to get used to drawing digitally again, so I decided to do a simple Ema sketch in my sketchbook (just a pencil sketch with a mannequin body, nothing interesting), drew some cute clothes over it (in my mind adult Ema is very green and pink character and, I felt like drawing something gingham so the outfit concept evolved from that), than did the line art, colour and basic shading :D

But even though is is a very simple drawing I really like how it looks! And look forward to drawing more digitally, especially since I'd like to try and make fan comics but idk how long that take XD

Today I went for a walk and wanted a break from doing digital art so I did some AA sketches (I do love digital art but it's often stressful for me while sketching traditionally is relaxing so that's how it's an effective break for me XD). I mostly sketched Franziska because I find her to be the most fun AA character to draw (which I wasn't expecting getting into this franchise but I'm not disappointed, she's definitely one of my top 10 fave characters!) and felt like drawing her in a ton of cute outfits X3

Now for some context behind some of of my sketches >:-3

1/2 (left): both are just outfits but one is a copy of this outfit while the other I made up! but the pose for second pic is based off a model pose I found on google ages ago because I learnt the creator of Jojo references model poses for his manga and I love how cool Jojo poses are so I of course had to save a ton of model poses XD

3 (left): Felt like trying to draw Franziska being disgusted and while I think I failed the facial expression I ended up enjoying drawing this still. In my head canons Franziska isn't homophobic (Than again I don't even hc Manfred as homophobic), but would shit on Miles for liking men because I also hc her as lesbian and asexual, so the idea of being into men makes no sense to her. She would also caller herself "gayer" as if it's a competition because it is to her.

4 (left): Just tried to draw an older Fran, I like people giving her a pixie cut so I of course had to do that too. Not super happy with result as I think she looks a bit older than late 20's (which is what I was going for) but it's fine :>

1 (right): Just Miles in this pose (sorry it's a pinterest link) cuz why not XD he got sunglasses on because in my mind it adds to the silly concept

2 (right): Tried drawing Miles and Fran being smug, I dislike how I drew Miles but I really like Fran here.

3 (right): based off a meme (Idk the original ver but it's always the same setup as this drawing), probably my least fave of the sketches but it was still fun to draw, I like to imagine in the background a child Trucy is just swallowing a super tall American style burger XD

4 (right): My fave sketch out of all of them! the dress is based off the last picture in this post but I did change it's colour and design a fair bit :P

✦ AA girls in formalwear ✦

Today I felt inspired to draw some AA characters in dresses because last night I decided to start writing another fanfic that's set after my previous fanfic (which I'm now done! but won't post just yet cuz I'm currently unsure if I'll get it beta read first or not >w<) and at the start the characters are wearing formal outfits so I really wanted to draw the outfits.

I used to find formal fashion to be super boring but I think I'm starting to change my mind, though drawing characters I like certainly help XP also this was my first time drawing Adrian and I'm quite happy with how she looks. Also the characters here are post SOJ/AA6 so I inserted my hc of Franziska and Iris getting shorter hair do's into this pic :-D

Miles and Phoenix going to court with only 4 hours of sleep

While I was walking today my brain went on a tangent as it often does and it lead to me having hc's about these two having horrible sleep schedules for very different reasons.

Miles of course has a bad sleep schedule due to the nightmares he had for 15 years from 9 yrs (and because insomnia is a bitch to fix I highly doubt his sleep has improved much even after the nightmares stopped), while Phoenix has terrible sleep schedule because he's definitely the kind of guy who procrastinated all his assignments in high school and university until last minute, which lead to him having a horrible habit of doing all nighters regularly and permanently ruining his sleep schedule! but he's good at masking so most assume he's well rested :P

I also drew this to both force myself to try and improve drawing these two and get more comfortable drawing digitally (which included sketching digitally) and I think I manged to accomplish both! As not only was the drawing process surprisingly smooth and enjoyable!? but I also feel like I'm find my style for these two more \(^O^)/

❀ Sister Iris ❀

A few days ago I felt like drawing Iris in this outfit and using some of my Acrylic inks. It was fun but I do want to do a digital version of this drawing at some point cuz I couldn't get the colours just right and I might also change up the shoes and other details for the digital version, idk for now as I don't plan on doing the digital version anytime soon :P

Also I gave her a butterfly earring cuz I personally hc that pink butterflies are an important symbol to Kurain village, specifically to spirit mediums and come from Khura'in (cuz they do have the butterfly on a lot of things in Khura'in). To add to my hc, I like to think the pink butterflies are either associated with spirits, or are actuality spirits.

I tend to lean towards the later for my hc cuz we see a pink butterfly near Nahyuta in court (which makes sense since apart of his goal as a prosecutor is to give victims soul's salvation), pink butterflies appear when you get a not guilty verdict in Khura'in (and they even come from the Pool of Souls!) and Dahlia has multiple pink butterflies surround her when she acts sweet and wouldn't you know it, she's a known murderer (which adds a dark connotation to the butterflies that surround her)! But that's just a little pink butterfly fan theory of mind that is probably not very original as I doubt I'm the first person to make these links XD

☆ Kay Faraday ☆

So a few days ago I finally finished aai! And as a result felt like drawing Kay because she's a very fun character imo. I think her and Trucy are tied for favourite assistant because they're both very silly, but Kay does seem to be a lot more helpful at least so maybe she wins lol XP

Not super happy with this drawing overall though, I noticed the eyes are especially wonky (>w<J) but! I had a lot of fun designing a casual outfit for her and, I think the colours came out pretty good too. Also this isn't my first bit of aai fanart as I did a few Shi-Long sketches about a week ago but I don't like how they look so idk if I'll ever post those :P

♤♧ Random Trucy hc drawings ♡♢

Yesterday I felt like drawing a lot, so after finishing my Kay Faraday fanart my brain thought about how funny it would be if Kay and Miles had both been trusted to baby sit Trucy, leading to me drawing a couple of child Trucy head canons.

The first hc is if course both Kay and Miles baby sitting Trucy together, I like to think Phoenix offered Miles to baby sit her (I know in canon Phoenix probably cut contact with all his friends when he lost his badge but, I love the idea of his friends taking turns watching Trucy too much to not have hc about it) and Kay insisted on joining and being a baby sitter assistant. Leading to much chaos that stressed Miles out but at least Trucy had fun lol.

I also gave Kay a braid cuz I realised I have a habit of giving AA girls shorter hair in my hc for their older designs, so I've decided to hc Kay's hair staying long but she wearing it as a braid so it doesn't get in her way as easily as a ponytail.

Than the second hc is Trucy doing a card trick with Pearl. I like to think Pearl see's Trucy's magic tricks as more impressive than spirit channelling because she's grown up around spirit channelling, so it's normal thing for her unlike magic tricks. I made the card ace of hearts because, as a kid Pearl is definitely the number one NaruMayo shipper, so she seems to like romance imo. As for why it's the ace of hearts well that's cuz... it was the easiest heart card to draw and I felt a little lazy XD

✯ Ema, Kay and Maya ✯

So instead of doing the drawing for a fanfic that was done be beta read yesterday I instead drew Ema, Kay and Maya together based off a kinda unhinged hc that might disappear after I get back into played aai2 (I started playing it a bit but had to stop because, woah the beginning is very cool but very overwhelming for me!) but I don't care because this might be my favourite aa fanart I've made!

Idk why it is, but I had a lot of fun drawing this (even though I was outside for most of this drawings process and the sun is so fucken hot now, even though it's only SPRING!!!), I think it's because I kept on thinking about the hc that spawned this fanart, which I'll now explain!

Spoilers for aai1 and aa1/3/6 for rest of post

So at the end of aai1 Kay says she's not going to form the Yatagarasu until she finds two more members who are also cute girls her age and immediately my brain thought "wait Ema and Maya are around Kay's age what if..." and the more I thought about it the more I can see it working! Since Kay of course has little theif and a lot of knowledge from her Dad, Ema by aa6 is a forensic investigator and Maya is the head of the Kurain village spirit mediums which apparently still means something as sister bikini did say spirit mediums still had powerful ties after DL-6 (they just aren't as open about it).

Plus Maya is good friends with Phoenix, a lawyer, and both Kay and Ema are kinda co workers/friends to Miles, who's of course the cheif procecutor (though I feel like he'd not be as helpful as Phoenix lol so idk how useful this connection would be).So I feel like this trio would work really well as the next gen Yatagarasu trio XD but, because I haven't finished aai2 I am prepared for that to throw a wrench into my hc, but in that case this could always be an AU :3
