A rare smile graces the prince's lips and he moves forward towards the beautiful navigator. He reaches and tilts her chin so that she is looking at him before he speaks. "Seems that we are a pretty good match, how about we work on that last ten percent?"

"Do you feel... anything?" Her head tilted at him, her chin resting upon her closed fist. She had no interest in peeking into the mind of the sick Vinsmoke Judge, but she couldn't help but feel curious. A catlike curiosity that accompanied most scientists; and while weather was her chosen field, she couldn't help but wonder how the mad one achieved it. While she was only capitalizing on the prince's company, she figured she might as well attempt to get to know him. Even if her interest dwindled, past his money and status. It appeared Ichiji didn't mind her questions, which encouraged her to keep asking. Stopping at the café, midst their shopping trip, had also spurred her thoughts into motion. He had been quiet too long, and Nami needed to break the silence. Her brow furrowed in thought, a hand landing upon his wrist. The iced coffee she'd wanted so badly to stave off the heat had all but been forgotten. "Happiness?" Sanji was always so forthcoming in his anger, his happiness, his love. How funny, how his brothers couldn't be. "Do you ever feel excited? Or sad..? What about your brothers?"

One eyebrow arches at her question and he contemplates her words. They had been shopping a good portion of the day already, and he was not one for words, even as she dragged him all over. He could not name the sheer number of stores they had visited already, for it would have been a waste of energy to keep track. "Contrary to what Father believes, yes."

He knew some of what the things he felt were, he was not entirely numb to emotion or the world. He was not an unfeeling creature, he just was taught not to care. He knew emotion... but there were several that he could not identify, nor did he know how to even begin to express them. "I know anger. Jealousy, rage and pity. "

"And the feelings I can't identify. My heart racing before a fight, my stomach doing tumbles like when I look at you." He paused as he though over more of the emotions he felt and could not place. "A feeling like a lump in my throat that I could not scream away when Mother died, no mater how much I wanted."

He shift to rest his cheek on his hand, contemplating more. "I don't even know if I have ever smiled what my mother called a real smile."

Ichiji did not know why she had chosen to agree for him to take her where she wanted, to buy her anything she wished. He had actually expected her to slap him, as she had slapped his brother after the fight --if it could be called a fight when one party just sits there and takes the abuse-- but she had agreed. He was not about to complain, he could pamper her and be near her.

There was something about the orange haired girl before him, something that he could not put his finger on, a feeling in his chest that escaped his definition. He decided that he would spend as much time as she would allow with her until he got to what the feeling was. The prince was sure that the name of what he felt would be revealed eventually, so long as he had more time to think it over.

Talking of his mother still left a hollow ache in his chest, a feeling that he felt since her death. A feeling that he dare not share with his brothers, in case they did not feel the same ache. No, it was best that there be no risk of news that he felt anything get back to Judge. He had seen what happened when there was a failure among the ranks.

He watched her stammer and wonders which words had unsettled her, and let a small chuckle out when he saw how quickly she took a large drink of her coffee. He wondered what was going through her head, what she thought about when he told her that they had feelings, at least that he did. He could not vouch for Niji and Yonji beyond the fact they seemed to... enjoy? the pain they inflicted.

"Never. Mother said that a smile has to come from the heart to be a real smile, and I wouldn't call what I do as a smile from the heart." He contemplated her next words carefully before he answered. Did he want to feel....

"As for if I want to feel.... I suppose that's why I know jealously so well." He took in a deep breath. "Emotion, feeling, expression. All come so easily for Sanji. Because of that... he had Mother's attention when she was alive, for he was the one who could cry and ask to seek comfort. I couldn't even cry at her funeral."

"I would have to know what happiness is to say something makes me happy. Most of the world... it's not worth wasting energy on." The corner of his mouth twitches slightly, jumping up to the briefest of moments. "Unlike you." You are worth any amount of energy expended.

Previously, her mind had only been on the stores they were visiting. The materials she so badly coveted --- dresses and shoes, jewelry and perfumes. He'd agreed to buy them for her --- after all, he had no shortage of funds. Who was Nami to deny his gifts? It was truly a dream arrangement. He bought her things, he flaunted his status, and she got to reap the benefits. She hardly cared that she had to play the part of eye candy, as long as he didn't get any ideas.

He was surprisingly open about matters she hadn't expected him to speak of. Sanji barely spoke of his mother; it seemed too painful, and it was something Nami could understand. It was somewhat of an unspoken agreement between most of the Straw Hats. The past was just that, and there was no reason to dwell in it.

Her brows knit as he admitted how he felt for her, in so few words. She hadn't even realized; although, she assumed it was because he enjoyed how she looked. She couldn't help but assume the worst of him; after all, he was a Vinsmoke.

"O---oh," the freckled beauty stupidly stammered in surprise. A familiar sickness arose in her gut. Was that ... guilt? She gulped it down, an attempt to ignore it, with a large swig of her iced coffee. Why was she feeling guilty over using this asshole of a prince? He was a monster. His brothers were monsters. He deserved every bad thing that karma delivered.

"Never?" Nami asked, finally lifting her head to look at him once more. "Is it something you... want? To feel, I mean."

She wondered if he thought about it. If he knew what he was missing. The brothers were known for being unfeeling monsters, but he confirmed that he felt something. Mostly negative --- not positive.

"Does anything make you... happy?"

He had the entire world at his disposal. Surely something would bring him joy.

Drake gritted his teeth as he dragged himself along the halls, he refused to die inside of the castle. If this was to be his end he would not be breathing his last breath inside of the charred walls. He was still uncertain of if Hawkins had told him the truth when saying that the man with a one percent chance of survival was Hawkins himself. Earlier in the night, right after he had been ambushed by Queen and Who's-Who, Hawkins had stated that is was him after all, not Hawkins.

The marine steadied his breathing, trying to calm the racing of his heart not wanting to restart the bleeding at his throat. He was well aware that had the CP0 agent chosen to, he could have killed him. The man had almost seemed like he was in a hurry, and that he had found Drake nothing more than a nuisance. It was foolish to have stood in the man's way, but he had his reasons.

Finally the wall gave way to open air and he tumbled forward. There was the sound of shouting, but he could barely focus on the words. The man rolled onto his back, watching the sky as he took heaving breaths. His vision danced with dots of black, but he watched as the lanterns sent by the people of Wano drifted towards the stars. His vision was increasingly having spots of darkness when she appeared, and it felt like the breath had left him. "An angel?"

"What do you mean, I can't have a bigger spending allowance? I wanna buy more meat!" Luffy frowned and crossed his arms as he looked at Nami, a low whine leaving him. The money was always handled by his navigator, and this island had more treats than his wallet would allow him to buy. He had already been scolded for trying to swipe something to eat without paying for it. Not even explaining his treasure tab had made Nami budge.

She is pulled into his arms in an instant, his mouth claiming hers in desperate need. Many would say that Ichiji is without emotion, that he is not capable of passion. Anyone who saw him in this moment would know this not to be the truth of the prince. Not with how he held Nami close and kissed her like she was water and he was the most parched man on the planet.

His teeth nipped and pulled on her lip, before his tongue slipped into her mouth. One hand was on the back of her neck, holding her into the kiss, the other was around her waist lifting her against him just high enough that he did not have to lean over too far to kiss her. After a moment he pulls back so that their lips are just brushing and growls out, "I couldn't resist the temptation. You are too beautiful."

He was being selfish. He knew that he was. They were on different crews, and more than that he was a marine first and foremost, even if the world thought differently. Drake knew that at the end of the day they would have to part ways when Strawhat left Wano, but while he had the chance he was going to take it. He wanted her to remember their time together fondly.

He took hold of her hand and pulled her into his lap, and when she looked up to speak he uses the opportunity to kiss her. His lips roughly meeting hers, cutting off whatever words she was going to say, his hands reaching to cup her face. Whatever tomorrow had in store for them, tonight they had one another.

A smile toyed at the corner of his mouth as she grabbed onto his arm.

"Wealth is needed to ensure that you are well cared for and pampered, something Germa has in abundance." And could easily be replenished, all they needed to do was win someone's war for them. "As for worshipping you... I am certainly superior to anyone else."

Ichiji, nodding: "And would spa treatments fall under this princess treatment, or do you prefer a man worshipping your being on his knees before you."

She knew Ichiji would understand.

"I want both," she answers without a beat, grabbing his arm. "Know anyone who can provide?"

He let out a light chuckle, hand going to lift her chin so she was facing him fully.

"Even those of royal birth have to kneel before a goddess." His tone was that of one who was stating a fact. Eyes glancing down to where her hand had roamed, wondering if she could feel his heartbeat. "Is that so? Try not to be too cruel, my goddess."

Having a prince on his worshiping her didn't sound so bad. And after working so hard, her entire life, for the most part --- neither did being pampered.

"Superior, but you're the one about to be on your knees. Not very becoming for royalty, is it?" Her hands roam at his chest, biting her lip as she observes him, thoughtfully. "I do think you'd look nice begging for me. And I do plan on taking my time with you, my prince."
