“You naughty hedgehog.” Lizzie plucked Shuffle from Daring’s hands and plopped her back into her book bag. Daring puffed out his chest. “No need to thank me. Rescuing fair damsels is what I do.”

“I don’t need to be rescued,” Lizzie informed him. “I’m perfectly capable of catching my own hedgehog.” She squared her shoulders in a proper way, but Duchess could tell, from the softening expression on Lizzie’s face, that she was grateful. She just couldn’t admit it in public.

D'ya ever get the feeling of being sooo physically tired, that when you go to bed you dont know if you should straighten or bend/fold/curl your legs cause no matter what you do its both sore in those positions, and cause you've both sat and stoof for a long time so like the best option at this point is to become lizard-like and detach your limb. Or maybe it's become starfish-like? YEAH SMTH LIKE THAT.
