number 9 is so real!! like I'm getting back into eah and I'm hyperfixating so hard on dizzie 😭 like why are they so !! they make each other better, and daring's willingness to make a fool of himself for the comfort of lizzie? and lizzie showing a soft side toward daring and sharing a bit of her insecurities with him? ughh, I wish we got more of them!! they had SO MUCH POTENTIAL BRO

ever after high/monster high unpopular opinions

yeah idk i'm bored and in an eah/mh mood. deal with it (ily)

i prefer eah to mh. i'm sorry, i grew up with eah, and though Now i can really appreciate mh, i will always like eah more. tbh i think the story is a bit deeper and honestly better oops

i don't like toralei all that much. this one i'm scared about bc i know everybody Loves Her, but i just. idk. i don't Dislike her or anything i've just never liked her nearly as much as the other characters. and i don't love her design very much, it just doesn't appeal to my personal aesthetic taste. she feels like a meaner, less aesthetically pleasing version of kitty cheshire to me (yes i know toralei came first but still)

now i do dislike frankie. i think she's super boring i'm sorry i don't hate her or anything but. idk she annoys me. i like her design tho

i like cupid's character in eah. maybe it's just because i grew up with ever after high and i'm biased but i don't think she's terrible in eah. i get the argument that they kinda reduced her character to a dexter simp and that she's more passive and yada yada but... number one she was in a whole different and entirely new world. it makes sense for her to be more passive and shy and stuff because she's in this new world that's totally different and that has a Lot more rules than the monster high universe. and also the fact that her personality kinda becomes dexter is kinda... realistic? like it's not Healthy don't get me wrong but like. a lot of people will become really obsessed with somebody they're attracted to and it can be normal for a lot of people to turn their crush into their personality. i think had the show gone on we would've seen cupid branch out more and get over dexter and become the cupid we knew and loved in monster high- we just didn't get enough time with her in the land of ever after. also i like her design in eah i like her mh design more but i think the ever after one is really cute!! also i think her personality's kind of adorable in ever after high.

i think some of the mh reboot dolls look really cool. like don't get me wrong the swimsuit ones and the family ones and a lot of the others are So Bad but a lot of them i really like!! i can't think of any examples and don't have to energy to look them up but i went through all of the monster high dolls with my bsf the other day and i remember liking a good amount of the reboots.

apple x raven makes me so uncomfy. my mom pointed out to me that raven's dad being the good king implies that her father is snow white's dad and that just makes me feel very icky about rapple. bc that means they are related. blood related. that means raven is snow white's half sister. and therefore apple's aunt. discosting.

i like lagoona!! a lot!!! i get that she doesn't have Much personality but idk. i think she's sweet and i really really love her and her design. fuck gil tho

i don't like darabella. i think it's boring ok there's no spice no flavor i don't like it!! i Get that she makes him a better person i Get it it makes Sense but No. i like daring x lizzie aha. i think the reason i prefer dizzie is because #1: spice and #2: with darabella rosabella makes daring a better person but he does absolutely nothing for her. like he does nothing to break her out of her shell or make her think of herself more or smth like that it's completely one-sided. with dizzie (and cerise x daring, which i also like but not as much as dizzie) you see daring sacrifice himself for lizzie's sake and you see lizzie soften around him. it's mutually beneficial and very, very cute. i love them.

One of my favorite parts of eah is that there is so much ship potential. Literally everywhere. You throw two names together, I'll have a list of headcanons on your desk by Monday.

Aside from always getting Shawn storylines, artworks and cards, I too, would like to manifest an Ever After High reboot/revival where LIZZIE AND DARING DO END UP TOGETHER.

CAUSE SHUT UP, WDYM IT WAS FORESHADOWED THAT DARING WILL BE THE BEAST THRU HIS CLOTHES DESIGN?????? WHAT ABOUT CHOOSING YOUR OWN DESTINY FFS????? ISNT THAT SUPPOSEDLY LIKE THE WHOLE PURPORSE AND MESSAGE OF THE SHOW????

Now this all the more makes me wanna rattle my bars louder. Like yeah, he's self-centered but not numb to the point he hurts others!!! His storyline with Lizzie is MILES BETTER than with Rosa, for fact that they BOTH make each other better — you could see how both of their facades shatter with each other. We all saw how they've shown a softer and delicate side to them with each other, and whether it be in or out of romantics (but come on thEY ARE IN LOVE YOUR HONOR), I think it's still pretty sweet. DIZZIE does not have this sense of "I can fix them" mindset from both parties. If continued, I do genuinely think that they can make each other better. Not LIKE HOW YOU DID IT ROSA CAUSE WHERE WAS YOUR DEVELOPMENT??? CAUSE NO WAY YOU DONT HAVE SOMETHING TO IMPROVE OR SMTH, I THINK ITS UNFAIR THAT DARING'S THE ONLY ONE WHO APPEARS TO BE THE ONE NEEDED TO FIX EOWJJEJDJDISJJHWA

He's not an object to be fixed and be simply taken possession of (mmm, idk another word for this, but ehhh yknow what I mean). To love each other is to both HELP each other to be on the right path wherein both parties are willing to IMPROVE themselves. Epic winter left a bad taste on me and it was only now I could conclude that it sent a message that Daring was a lost cause wherein it was only Rosa who could love this **selfish** **monster**. (Like cOUGH COugH did you not see what Daring and Lizzie did????)

Welcome to my 3am rant! Anyways, I rewatched an Ever After High review and I saw comments like “Daring wasn’t meant to be Apple’s Prince Charming because he was selfish but his arc with Rosabella was sweet.” The thing is, Daring was never selfish, sure he was self-centered but never selfish, there is a difference. Being self-centered is focusing on yourself and your own needs, whereas being selfish is self-serving at the expense of others. And I hate that people say Daring is selfish when he’s clearly not. It’s especially shown in his episode with Lizzie where he put aside his own needs to keep the closeness he shared with her. And I hate the idea that Rosabella’s arc was all about fixing Daring, plus, no one talks about what he does for her. Sorry for the rant, but thanks for coming to my TedTalk.

in the epic winter (a portion i dont or rarely ever recognize as canon; sorry,,,,) the relationship of daring and rosa's just yeeted into the scene to because "daring needs some mending" when in truth HE DOESN'T!!!!

and it's slightly off putting, unlike lizzie and daring that felt natural. theyre so soft for each other, AND IMAGINE THE POSSIBILITIES IF THEY GOT TOGETHER??? LIKE?????? ANOTHER REBEL COUPLE (aside from ashlynn and hunter)???? YES PLEASE!!

although there technically is a king of hearts in the original alice in wonderland, and im not too familiar with the dynamics if lizzie requires someone who'd be the king of hearts to fulfill her destiny (but i think she's able to achieve her destiny if she were to become a "mad ruler") BUT THE THINGS THAT THEY COULD OFFER TO EACH OTHER???? they can be vulnerable with each other and show their true side. hhhhhhh

Is it just me or is anyone else not a fan of Rosabella and Daring as a ship? I don’t necessarily hate Rosabella, she just felt like a severely underdeveloped character with no flaws who was suddenly paired up with Daring for no reason other than being his love interest and making him a better person. There’s no character development on her end because she didn’t have that much depth to her to begin with. I also felt like she saw Daring as a project, someone who needed to be “fixed,” like her character revolved solely around fixing Daring, and that just doesn’t sit right with me.

I also find it a bit hypocritical that Rosabella claims that she’s a rebel, but if her and Daring were together, wouldn’t they quite literally be following their destinies (for Cedar, Cerise, and Maddie I feel like it’s slightly different since, in their story, they don’t end up with someone romantically)?

But with Daring and Lizzie on the other hand, not only do they push each other to be their best (and it’s not one-sided), but by being together, it’s like they’re defying their destinies, and that’s just not something you can associate with Rosabella and Daring, especially if the theme is writing your own destiny.

Plus in Epic Winter I feel like Rosabella and Daring’s romance was shoehorned. But in Dizzie’s webisode, we get a sense of the characters almost immediately. We see Lizzie being open and honest that she’s never done this before, which lets us see past her hard exterior to see the softness and vulnerability within. We also get a glimpse of Daring’s true character for the first time, and we can see Daring actually genuinely putting in effort and respecting Lizzie’s wishes, despite the injury to his reputation. Furthermore, Lizzie surprises him with unexpected responses that intrigue him, while Daring pushes Lizzie to be a kinder person who can be more vulnerable with her feelings. They both push each other to be better people and it’s not just one-sided either, which makes their relationship all the more interesting. This is a message that hits, and it hits hard, and that’s why Daring and Lizzie are my favorite ship. That’s just my two cents though, everyone is free to have their own shipping opinions.

It just doesn’t make any sense that Daring would cheat on Lizzie to me.

I’ve seen multiple people say that Daring invited Duchess out on a date in order to keep his reputation as the school’s casanova while Lizzie was hiding their relationship.

But if how he was perceived was more important than Lizzie to him, Why would he hide from sparrow the fact that Lizzie had agreed to go on a date with him in order to avoid humilliation?

I mean you would think that if he preferred his public persona over Lizzie he would’ve just told Sparrow and spared (pun intended) himself from having to wash his Grimmnastics uniform in front of the whole school.

Also Shannon Hale didn’t wrote didn’t write their scenes with such care only for Epic Winter and Kitty’s diary to ruin them like that.

when i was a little kid i didn't watch the webisode, but I shipped Daring Charming/Lizzie Hearts so much as a kid because opposites attract (and lizzie was my all time favorite) and like I still do

because opposites attract, but also since Daring doesn't know his destiny anymore and Lizzie is just the princess he can fight things for. Bro feels comfortable with her once they get to know each other, and he feels important to someone again because after finding out he's not apple's prince he feels so utterly useless butbut then Lizzie comes along

No hate to darabella shippers but what in ever after is wrong in Dizzie? Like the Epic Winter isn't that Epic and it is absolutely not the best ending you could put in a great show like Ever After High is a very Amazing and not sure if everyone will agree but Epic Winter isn't the deserving ending that Ever After High deserve and Between Darabella and Dizzie In my own Opinion Dizzie is much more interesting it's kinda a shame we didn't have another webisodes or maybe special about Dizzie or With Dizzie in it
